A very reliable trustworthy and very knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again. He had recommendations for my gas fireplace without trying to upsell me for stuff. I did not need.

There is not enough space here to leave a proper review of Scott Newberry and his horrible customer service and poor quality parts. Read actual true reviews on Yelp which really do reflect his company. He was happy to take $869 from us to replace our system which lasted 1 month before needing repairs then 12 months later more issues and after twice no show, no call we paid Adam from Fireworx to replace the poor quality system Scott put in. If Scott sold you on the pilot less system from Dexen, read up on issues which state the control module is susceptible to issues at 175degees. This was the issue we had most recent, If this company doesn?t respond to multiple calls or text, use a different number and ask for a quote, they will then call back within 5 minutes! This is a horrible company that as easy as it is to get accredited by the BBB, they are not. Please beware of this company and of Scott Newberry.

Several years ago Scott Newberry of A Safe Home rebuilt our gas fireplace saving us the prohibitive cost of a replacement. At that time he arrived on the dot and did a truly remarkable job of rebuilding a 25 year old unit to perfection. Recently we thought it prudent to have the same unit serviced by Scott. As before, he arrived on time, did a remarkable job by fine tuning the components, polishing the glass front and checking everything out for the price of a service call. I can't say enough about the service we've received from A Safe Home and give the company my highest recommendation.

The gas logs were replaced and the fireplace was cleaned, refurbished, and updated. An excellent job all around.

He came in and looked at the unit and said he thought he could repair it without having to replace it. He was here for about 7 hours and it works great now!!

He did show up and made an attempt to fix our fireplace and said he was going to order a part and then he disappeared. He vanished completely. Very nice man but should not be in the business of repairing something and then vanish.
