After a three attempts to get other service providers to follow up on bids, we contacted Curtis. Wish we would have gone to him 1st. We purchased two beautiful 100 year Church Stained Glass Windows, but weren't sure how we would display them in our dining Room. We didn't know how we wanted them displayed. Curtis came out and asked enough questions to gain understanding of what we were thinking. He walked around the house and started brainstorming solutions. He ended up setting them up to look like windows even though it was an internal wall. He build cabinets to support the windows, restained the trips getting all trims to perfectly match, figured out how to light them, and installed them. We appreciated each step of the way he would check to see if we liked colors, finishes, etc. They are the centerpiece of our home. In addition Curtis called or emailed regularly to confirm times he would be working, always showing up when he said. WOW! If you want quality work, done by a craftsman Curtis is your guy. We are already thinking about some other project to have Curtis complete.

The job Mr. Kuhn did is superb! I sent him a picture of the way I wanted the lattice to look. He came to my home, discussed the project, measured and within a few days I had a very reasonable estimate. He pre-cut and stained all the wood pieces before he came back to do the install. The job went off without a hitch and we now have the beautiful addition of lattice on our patio arbor. I am so pleased I want him to come back and do some more lattice work. I highly recommend Mr. Kuhn for your woodworking needs.

He did a marvelous job and it looks really great. He was on time and clean. He did everything that I asked him to do. I had to convey to him what I wanted him to do from my mind. He went home and drew up everything based on what I told him and when he came with the item and his son and him went up and fit perfectly. It looked exactly like what I had pictured in my mind.

Pleasant experience from beginning to end! Professional, punctual, knowledgeable and attention to detail. Curtis grasped the intention of the project from the very beginning and asked really good questions to make sure we were getting what we wanted and provided many good ideas and suggestions. We had a rather unique project whereas when we purchased our home it appeared that only half of an entertainment center had been completed. See photos. Curtis was able to match the stain and compliment the existing carpentry perfectly. He provided a detailed estimate and stayed right on budget. Already working on 2nd project with him. Just a delight to work with.

I first worked with Curt while designing the interior of a medical clinic. I had three custom woodworking projects that I needed done on a tight schedule and Curt was an absolute dream to work with. I had very specific ideas for how each project should look, and Curt made sure that every detail was realized in the finished products. I was so impressed with Curt's work on my commercial interior design project, that I hired him to construct an elaborate gate for the entrance outside of my home. The gate is comprised of 38 individual pieces of white oak, and is truly a masterpiece. I don't think there is a neighbor within three blocks that hasn't stopped by to say how much they love it. Having worked with dozens of tradesmen and craftsmen in my profession, I can easily say that Curt is a designers dream. He is professional beyond measure, a talented perfectionist, very reasonably priced and just an all around nice guy. I will definitely be a lifelong customer!

He picked the hall tree up, did all the restoration described above & delivered it to us in just a few weeks. Curt does excellent work, priced very fair & economical. I thought the value for the price was more than great. He's extremely nice, too!
