Troy Pools

Very friendly and cooperative. Open to suggestions. Created hand drawn plan of pool, which demonstrated the time and care he would put into the pool. We originally picked Troy pools back in the summer of 2010 at our old house. We then ended up moving and building a new home. Troy stayed with us and adapted the plan as needed. We also contracted through him a pergola and 8' cedar, board on board fence. The final product is quite beautiful and creates a very peaceful atmosphere blending well with the landscaping. My wife and I are quite happy with the final results. This was the first time we had ever had a pool built or owned a home with a pool. There were a couple of areas that could have been better. He would sometimes show up to do work without ringing the door bell to let my wife know he was there. Giving us advanced notice of when the heavy equipment and noise was going to be would also have been helpful. His crew cut through a irrigation line and he paid me for the repair. He also did not know how to run the new sanitation Nature2 Fusion system we ordered. It was installed perfectly, but I needed to do the research to operate it as it was designed to be operated.These were all minor annoyances to me, larger issues for my retired stay at home wife. It is necessary to remain vigilant to make sure all the details are completed properly. This is true though for any large contract project, which includes the landscaper and home builder. The finished project is beautiful with pool, fence, pergola, landscaping, low voltage lighting and irrigation all blending together in harmony for our oasis in Grapevine.

Our relationship with Troy Pools started upon the initial visit to our house to see our yard and to understand what we desired in a pool. The owner, Bruce Trojanowski, obviously listened very well to our desires, because when he came to show us his design for our pool area, he had incorporated ALL of the things we found important. We had talked to several pool builders prior to Troy, and while they had attractive pool designs they all seemed “cookie cutter” and didn’t really “wow” us. Bruce showed us a hand-drawn design that not only had a beautiful, innovative pool design but also decking that perfectly complemented our yard and gave us everything we wanted. We were so impressed with how he came up with a custom design that not only offered us what we had requested but also had innovations we never would have thought of. For example, we have a drink table with spa jets right in the pool! More importantly, he understood our budget and gave us a price that was within our stated budget and he didn’t try to talk us into a more expensive project. Troy is very flexible; Bruce presented us with multiple options (at our request), for example a complete design that included a spa and one without. He did a very good job of explaining all of the equipment and features that he used and Troy’s construction quality. Over the course the project, we changed our minds quite a few times and Bruce always gave us a quick quote for any added costs and cheerfully accommodated our changes. We researched comments from prior Troy Pool customers and learned the Bruce was personally involved in all aspects of the construction and was always available for questions. We learned from this experience that this is absolutely true! It gave us great confidence to have the owner present during all major construction. It is obvious that Bruce takes great personal satisfaction in providing an excellent product. Troy Pools gives great value. This pool is of quality construction and has top-line components (we know from our independent research). As I said earlier, we talked to several pool companies, and Troy Pools BY FAR gave us the best pool for the price! Our pool was recently completed and we love it! It has truly transformed our backyard into an oasis. Bruce taught us everything we need to know to keep it operating properly, and we have confidence that Troy will be there to help us with any future problems should they develop since Troy has been providing service since 1980. We never imagined that we would have such a beautiful pool on our budget. In summary, I can wrap this up with a simple statement – we are EXTREMELY happy with EVERY aspect of our new pool and recommend that you let Troy Pools provide you an EXCELLENT pool!
