He is just wonderful.  Everything  has fallen into place.  He's very organized and we can call our case manager anytime and they keep us updated on the steps and stages.  He even pays for a company to stage your home for sale.

The thing that is amazing about the Rhodes Team is they keep a relationship with you even after the closing of your home. It has been six years since we purchased our home yet they recently contacted usto have my grandsons come in to take a picture with a bunny for Easter. They are ethical, honest, refreshing, and they truly are client centered. They employ a number of people and all of them give the same client centered approach to any request .. which is exceptional. I would tell everyone to use them.  This group is like no other real estate agent you have worked with.  They offer so many client services that are beyond real estate you will be shocked.  This purchase was the 5th home we have purchased (9th realestate transaction) and by far left me amazed at the service.

I take back every nice thing I had to say before. I've had the house 6 months and could not be more disappointed with the representation I had. As a first time homebuyer I was relying pretty heavily on my realtor to guide me but all he did was sell me a lemon.



In the first 2 weeks of owning the house I spent nearly $10k on major plumbing work (the inspector the realtor recommended said the toilets needed to be reseated to correct leaks when really it was water backing up from the root infested sewer line which I had to replace) and replacing the fuse box (1970's aluminum which tend to melt so said the inspector with no mention that they actually were melting at the time).

In the third month of owning the house I discovered I have major preexisting foundation problems (I'd asked for a foundation inspection but was told there was no time in the option period for one and anyway I had receipts for recent foundation work - so basically either move forward with the house or lose my earnest money and start over.) No mention was made that the option period could have been extended to accommodate a foundation inspection. I found that out soon after my house closed.

When I went to the Rhodes team with the above problems (which according to three foundation inspectors should have been obvious to real estate professionals) I was referred to their compliance officer who was quite rude and told they did nothing wrong and that that was the end of the matter as far as they were concerned.

I could not be more disappointed in the representation I received.

We are interested in moving into Castle Hills, with needing to sell our house first. After speaking with another team member at Rhodes Team a few times, they sounded really great, so we agreed to meet with Russell Rhodes at our house. We scheduled our meeting, and Russell Rhodes called me to ask a few questions about our house. One question was about whether we had a 2 or 3 car garage, and our house has a garage converted into a gameroom. The gameroom is fully redone and beautiful, and can easily be converted back to a garage. We also have extra drive way space where a car port can easily be added. Russell called and left me a voicemail one and a half hours before our meeting, not ever seeing our house, stating that he would need to pass on helping us because he has always had the worse luck selling houses without a garage, and these houses have been on the market for a very long time. He knew we had spent a year and a half doing A LOT of renovations, and are very excited home buyers. This was crushing for us to hear. Very unprofessional.

"It is our policy to always be straight forward and honest with our opinions on the salability of a home. Customer service is our number one priority and if we ever feel that we are not the best person for the job, we politely bow out of interviewing for the business. We would rather disappoint the client early by not taking their business, rather than disappoint them later when we are unable to produce. In this case with this client, we did not feel we could be successful selling a $300,000 home without a garage. It is unfortunate that since speaking with her, 2 other realtors have been unsuccessful in selling their home after 223 days and a $45,000 price reduction."
