Description of Work: My central AC compressor died, called Calvin on July 31,2012, he came out and verified that it was dead, we have been expecting this event for the last two years. We agreed on the right equipment to use and Calvin installed it on August 1, 2012. As usual Calvin and his crew are super professionals, My unit was back in service by 1pm and we are again enjoying a cool house on a day that hit 107 House stayed under 78 the whole day. This is the second time in a year I have used Calvin for AC emergencies, I will never use anyone else. Richard Wagner

Description of Work: After our builder grade AC units went down, Calvin serviced both units so we can get by the summer. During the next November, we replaced the entire HVAC systems to include thermostats, multi-stage furnace, and outside condenser units and had some additional air duct work done.

+ -1 moreHe is fantastic and does a great job. We started using him about two years ago when we had problems with our A/C system. Another company gave an estimate of 28,000 dollars, so, we called Calvin to get a second opinion and he told us that he could repair the A/C. He did about 200 dollar repair and we were good for about two years. The unit went down again, so, we decided to replace it. He ended up finding for us an A/C that was actually better than the other company had recommended and we paid much lesser amount for that. He is a very honest and trustworthy person. His workers did a great job of installing the system.
Description of Work: I use him for heating & A/C services. He also replaced our air conditioning system.

+ -1 moreCalled Calvin after our regular heating/AC service company with whom we had a yearly maintenance agreement and had been using for 8+ years told us that the air conditioner was not repairable and would have to be replaced at a cost of $18,000 to $20,000. Calvin was recommended by a friend. He came out and fixed the problem in less than an hour for a cost between $200 and $300. A year later it's still running strong.
Description of Work: Made a small $200 to $300 repair on our air conditioning system that saved us from having to replace it. A previous well known air conditioning contractor had told us it was not repairable and would have to be replaced at a cost of $18,000 to $20,000.

+ -1 moreWe needed our regular maintenance on our air conditioning units and our upstairs unit was not cooling. Calvin performed the maintenance and determined that there was no coolant in the second unit. He filled the coolant and now both units work much better! He even came back a couple weeks later at no charge to make sure there was no coolant leak. He also found a potential problem with the evaporator coil.
Description of Work: Performed maintenance on two systems and refilled refrigerant.
