Description of Work: Install granite counter tops-met us at warehouse & helped select granite slab, measured the kitchen, offered ideas that improved the counter space & appearance-great installation, sealed counter top & showed us how to care for it. Came back after back splash grout cured & caulked between tile & granite.

Description of Work: After a bad experience with another Angie's List vendor/contractor, Steve renewed our faith in finding a trustworthy person to install our countertops. It was reassuring to have him explain the process and what to expect. Though we have just received an estimate at this point, we have already chosen to utilize Steve and his crew to install our countertops this summer. Description of Work: I replaced a cooktop in my kitchen which necessitated the enlarging of the existing cut-out in the granite counter. I called a few places and Artisan was not only the most fairly priced, but also the most responsive and professional. It was a small job, and Steve was very accommodating to me in scheduling the work. This was important because his was the first step in the process and coordinating 3 different contractors was challenging, especially given the relatively small scope of work. His crew arrived on ti,e, performed the work in a very professional and high quality manner, and were very friendly as well. I was very pleased with the work-product and will use Artisan again as the opportunity arises.

Description of Work: Steve was fantastic. Installed gorgeous granite counter tops, new granite sink,new faucet and soap dispenser, back splash and had someone that added gas to my kitchen so I could have a gas cook top. A dream come true. I love everything he did. Did a wonderful job, Steve was there personally to help me pick out the slabs of granite, also at the tile store for back splash selection. He goes way beyond what is expected. Also, he a retired Dallas Police Officer after 30 years. I felt very safe with him and anyone else he used in my home. I give him a 20 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Description of Work: replaced builder formica and wood countertops with granite countertops, tile back splash, new sink, under cabinet lights, recommanded several types of granite and helped us pick what worked best in our space and color scheme, did a tile design over stovetop. Only additional cost was need to relace wallboard after tile removal which they warned us about

Once we decided to go with Artisan, Steve meet with me and my husband to pick out granite colors and backsplash options. Once our decision was made Steve explain when the job would take place, everything was done exactly as planned there was no surprises.

 + 2 moreWe had 4 estimates to installed granite countertops and tile backsplash. Three of the estimates were within the same price range. The reason we chose Artisan (Steve) over the other vendors is how Steve cares about you the customer. He pointed out potential issues that the other vendors did not, he offers various options for you to consider. An example; on our island and counter tops Steve suggested instead of straight lines he could create brows giving a custom look. He follows up every step of the way. He responses quickly. We are still in awe of the finish product. I cannot say enough about Steve. The bottom line is he is the very best. You will not go wrong using Artisan to install your granite. Steve thanks for being patient with me.

 + 2 moreArtisan came into my home and saw what I was doing in remodeling my master bath. Then he took us to the granite yards and helped us select a slab of granite that would go with the rest of the tile that was selected for the floors and shower area. Steve was very valuable in helping with the color matching and selection of the granite. He explained the whole process in great detail. Once the selection was made they came out and made templates for the countertops and once the countertops were made they came back and installed them. The quality of work was exceptional, the price was the best around, and the finished product was a beautiful bathroom countertop. The service, price, and quality were beyond all expectations!
Description of Work: I had granite counter tops installed in my bathroom to replace the out of date marble countertops.
