Description of Work: They came out for a quote on a flat roof and their quote was over 2x more than competitors. They were friendly, but it was obvious they high-balled the bid because they didn't want the job.

Response from Anderson Roofing Inc
We were very surprised to receive this report and are very disappointed that this client was displeased. We were not contacted after providing the estimate and would have valued the opportunity to speak directly to any concerns the client had. We would like to provide some clarity on this feedback. First of all, we would like to speak to the grade on responsiveness and punctuality. The client originally contacted us between Christmas and New Years. Although our office was closed that week, we responded to the client in case there was some type of emergency and offered to come out for an assessment on New Year's Eve. We were told that wasn't necessary and it would be fine to wait until after the holidays. Mark Anderson, one of the owners, was out for the assessment on 1/3/13 as scheduled. On 1/8/13, 3 business days later, we contacted the client to let them know we were waiting for one last price on certain material for the job and would be getting the estimate to them either that afternoon or the next day. Their response was, "Thanks for your quick follow up." We emailed the bid the next day, 1/9/13, 4 business days after assessment. We are unsure what prompted the grade for professionalism, and therefore can not answer to that in this instance, except to say that we have had much feedback from other clients over the years which specifically applauds our professionalism. Now to address the grade for the price. We are certified low slope roof installers and the price we gave is for a premium roof with a fifteen year warranty. We do excellent work and our price is based on professional installation and the best type of system needed for the particular roof, as well as a solidly backed, long term warranty. Our pricing is not based on cheap or low-balled bids from other companies. The client did share that he had repairs done to this roof six months ago by another company who would not stand by their warranty. The old adage does stand true: You get what you pay for. We have been in the D/FW Metroplex for over ten years with a priority on taking care of our customers for the long haul. We would appreciate an opportunity to assist this client with their property and are confident they would not regret placing their confidence in Anderson Roofing, Inc.

Description of Work: We were informed by house painter that part of our roof lacked decking and needed immediate repair. Chad Anderson returned my call quickly and we had a bid in hand the next day. We have a concrete tile roof and he new exactly how to repair it and where to find the matching tiles. He even called me over the weekend to report on our tile options and when he could get it. Repair needed to begin one day later than originally expected and he called me to okay that. Repair was completed well and on a timely basis. Provided me with extra tiles to use in the future. Explained what had caused the problem in a detailed email.

I was extremely satisfied with the job these men did to the extent that I wouldn't have a problem at all recommending them to my closest friends. They cleaned up so well; I couldn't even tell that they were there. I have kids so I needed them to clean up well and they didn't even flinch at making sure it was perfect. Our roof looks really nice and the price was really good. I also thought the men were very professional and answered all my questions perfectly.
Description of Work: They took off the old roof, which covered my 2500 square foot home, and did some repair work on some of the boards. They then put down all new asphalt shingles, taking about two full days to do so. All used material and waste was taken away by them.

Our previous roof had been poorly installed and was leaking. Mr. Anderson gave us estimates on repairing it or installing a new roof. The quotes were very competitive and we felt no pressure to choose the repair or a new roof. He was very informative and explained why we were having the problems with leaks. He let us choose our options such as ridge vent, wind turbines etc. He was very professional and returned to make sure the shingles were all laying down right after his crew installed them. His crew finished the work in a timely manner and hauled off all the old material. It's nice to be able to go to sleep at night knowing we can have a rain storm and not worry about our roof leaking. We have had some very heavy rains since the new roof was put on and no more leaking! We are very happy with the looks of the new roof and know we have added to the value of our house.
Description of Work: Mr. Anderson gave us a very fair quote on a new roof, brought samples for us to choose our material and his crew installed our roof proficiently and in a timely manner. They tore off the old roof, installed the new roof, new drip edge, new lower profile ridge vent, new wind turbines, replaced fascia board and painted the stacks to match the shingles.

Mr. Anderson was very professional and courteous. He quoted a price and told us when he could complete the repairs. He came and did the job and told us that if it was still leaking he would come back right away. We just found out it is still leaking and have put in a call to him to return.
