They've taken care of my yard for about 2 years, this year, they've not shown up except to do a lawn application while my neighbors yard has been mowed twice and mine still looks like ****. I've been contacted once for the lawn application with confirmation of yard cleanup for spring that week, It's at least 2 weeks later and no one has shown up to trim hedges, clean the beds or mow the yard. They are not in the office and a msg must be left.

Their quality of work has gone down dramatically in the last two years. I have paid for a whole year so I am stuck with them but I had to call someone else to fertilize because my yard was getting thin spots and was pale green. Now I have crab grass for the first time in years and it is taking over in spots, as well as other weeds.. I have called several times to have those sprayed and no one has come yet. I am so disappointed because I have used them for years and at first they did real good, But for some reason the quality of their work has really gone downhill and their service has also. I regret paying for the whole year and then having to pay someone else to do what I paid GreenWorx for.

After a bit of a slow start, the work got underway and moved along at a good pace. We were very impressed with the quality of the stonework for a bedding area around the pool and spa. We worked with the designer (who respected our input) on a landscape plan and were generally pleased with the final results. Overall, everything went pretty smoothly, and the pricing was fair.

They came out and removed the old metal edging and put in 100 feet of new metal edging. They used some of my edging in the process. I gave them a whole box of short metal section metal edging from Lowe's and also plenty of new green metal stakes from Lowes. They sent a bill for 100 feet of edging at $11/linear foot for a total of $1100 plus tax. I contacted a lawn company with an A rating from Angies list and they said they would to the job for $3.50/ft. I contacted Green Worx several times by phone and told them their bill was way over priced and that you can have chain link fences and wooden fences installed for $11.00/ft. They refused to change the bill and Casey Mills never returned my calls. I sent them a check for $450 with the note "paid in full when cashed." They cashed the check and quit sending me bills. Then, in Jan/Feb of 2017 Casey Mills called and said I owed him money. Then he sent me to a collection agent. I actually had two other bad experiences with Green Worx also which I will relate in other posts.

The stumps were ground dow,n but there were would chips everywhere with no attempt to clear them off my white pool deck. There was a thick layer of wood chips on my cool deck when it rained the next day. My cool deck was stained. I was able to clear most of the stains by powerwashing the cool deck myself. I think most A-rated Angies list companies would have at least swept the chips of the cool deck, patio furniture and walk ways. Most people clean up after their job is done.

I originally contacted Green Worx on March 18, 2016 (during business hours) for an estimate for chemical treatment. The following Monday, I was contacted by Casey via email and they inquired whether or not I needed lawn maintenance, chemical treatment, or landscaping. I called Casey and he said Shana would contact me (in which she did). Shana said a technician would visit my property on Tuesday, March 22nd, but did not provide a time. On Tuesday, I called Green Worx at 9:47 to inquire when the technician would be at the property and was told, "The technician would not be making any visits due to the weather." The forecast was clear skies with winds at 5-10 mph. I informed the lady that all the technician should do is walk the property for an estimate and she said, "he is not making any house calls and we have something else for him to do today, but you're 1st on the list and we'll get back to you." Today is Friday, March 25th and I still haven't heard from Green Worx. Definitely not the way to run a business...stay away from these folks...

They come periodically to put fertilizer and do the lawn. It has been a fine experience. They have never left a mess.

They end their season for this year's service at the end of October. They will start up again in March. I really like everything about them. I like the way they do the yard. They usually charge $30 for every mowing and they fertilize and weed control six times a year for $44.95 each application.

Originally, the number that I had called was transferred to someone else's number. A recording explained that the main line was cut and I could reach them at this new number from now on. I had left several messages with them and no one ever called.

Casey responded to my initial email quickly, suggested a type of tree I hadn't considered (and eventually went with), and came out on time to walk through the yard before striking a deal. They worked quickly. The trees and flower bed look great.

We had trouble finding a landscaper to begin with until we signed up for Angie's List which is indeed a true way to search for quality people who know other quality people. Even though Green Worx was unable to service our property, the owner was extremely courteous in referring another landscaper. The other landscaper has now serviced our property two times, and we are pleased with the quality of work performed all thanks to Green Worx recommendation.

Made an appointment for 10 a.m. with Casey directly. By 10:30 I hadn't heard anything so I called to see if he was still coming. He said he would be right over. At 11:20 he called and said he would come in an hour, stated he was double-booked that day. He never came or called. Then at around 3 p.m. he called and said he didn't know that much about landscaping and that he could have his landscaper out to see me on Friday. I told him I'd let him know. Total waste of time.

After a couple times, the crew knew what I wanted, and delivered every time after that. We liked the crew, service, etc. so will be using them again this year.

They were prompt, worked steadily and did beautiful work. I've had lots of compliments.

Very Prompt about returning my contact message. BUT AL or GreenWorx or both needs to modify their way of recording the providers' area of service. AL notes that they cover Dallas County but GreenWorx, when they contacted me, said they don't cover my area [in Dallas County]. So, waste of Company and my time.

They came when they said they would and stayed the whole time (about 3 days) until they got the job done. Very professional work and friendly id dealings with them before and during the work. They were also very careful about the existing sprinkler system and didn't cause any damage. In the end it looked very good and we were quite pleased with the results, especially the river rock. That really helped with the looks and functionality. The reason they do not get an "A" rating is : (1) that we asked for some additional river rock work to be done (for an additional fee) but they seemed to 'forget' we ever called about that and so we wound up doing it ourselves (wife and I), (2) several of the plants (Hostas) were planted in areas that got much more sun than they could handle and so we had to move them ourselves to sharier areas - there is still some doubt on the outcome of this move, and (3) the mulch they used in the flowerbeds was a planters mix which is OK for planting but does not do a very good job of helping retain moisture. We added cedar mulch on top (on our own again) - but this was my fault for not being more specific in what I asked for in the type or quality of the mulch they used. We are still pleased with the overall effect and I would recommend them to others - just make sure you know exactly what you want and that you communicate with them on the types of plants to use and the amount of sun those plants will get. Do your own homework before hand. We still use them to do our weekly yard maintenance and they do a great job, so we will continue to use them for that plus sprinler maintenance.

We have been using them for 10 years. They've been reliable, reasonable and good workers. I had no complaints about them. The owner mowed our lawn when he was a teenager and he started the business. He has been always very conscientious. He has given us excellent service. They always clean up. It is always done meticulously. They used to come with like 5 guys and it was done really quickly. There was a different crew who came out and it looks like they're working harder to be part of the team I guess.

Was, and is continuing to be friendly, courteous and professional

The front yard gets direct Western sun in the afternoon, and nothing has ever grown successfully in the parkway between the sidewalk and the street. I contacted GreenWorx about designing something to replace the grass/weeds/dirt. Mathew proposed a mixture of large 2x2 pavers and river rock, with room for some drought-tolerant plants. I liked the design and contracted them to do the work. The crew arrived before 8 am and got right to work digging up the parkway. Mathew arrived to go over with me the plan once more, and also came back several more times throughout the day to ensure everything was going as planned. It took the crew all day to complete this big job. They dug out the dirt to ensure it was level before installing the pavers, then put down landscape fabric. They installed 4 groups of 2x2 pavers as walkways from the street to the sidewalk, and in between put large groups of river rock. The crew had to cut down the pavers to ensure a tight fit between the sidewalk and curb, but did a very good job with this. The beds of river rock look great, and an area is left open in the middle for us to install some plants. I also had the crew move 2 large boulders (that were in another part of the yard) to either side of the main walkway bordering the sidewalk beside 2 existing crepe myrtles. The finished result is fabulous - a beautifully designed area and no more mud on the parkway.

They are a family owned company. I had them do maintenance on my yard once a month. He is extremely professional. He has extensive and expanding knowledgeable about his field of work. I had been using them for years.

We have a fairly large yard and lots of shrubbery that need trimming. I was dissatisfied with our previous lawn service, so I looked around on Angies List for someone else that I thought would be good. I found Green Worx and gave them a call. Mat came out right away and I was very impressed with his knowledge and his eagerness to get my yard in good shape. He gave me a lot of information that was helpful and encouraging. I can't tell you how pleased I am with their services so far. I really like how they communicate with me when they plan to fertilize or do any treatment on the yard, besides the normal mowing/trimming. The 3 guys that actually do the yard work do an outstanding job - they even take the time to clean the debris off the top of the pool when they are done, without us even mentioning it!! I plan to use Green Worx for some landscaping work in the back yard around the pool area. I plan to stay with this company for a long time, as I'm a happy camper!
