"My son used Flooring Direct to install oak flooring in master bedroom and closet. A one-week job has turned into a two month unending ordeal. The job Flooring Direct did was unacceptable! Then they did a quick redo to fix the issues of stain color and bubbles in the finish. The redo had major issues also! According to the manufacturer of the poly, Flooring Direct did not follow manufacturer guidelines when they applied the poly. The baseboards have not been reinstalled and the final coat of poly has not been applied. The color of transition strip is wrong. My son requested someone in authority from Flooring Direct come to their home to see and discuss the project. He said they refused and told him the job is considered completed. My son and his wife are livid at paying Flooring Direct for a job that was poorly done and still is incomplete. My son is not a member of Angie's List, but the contractor he used is on Angies List and people need to be warned about Flooring Direct. I am happy to provide his phone number."

"The scheduling system is very good and professional and was on time for project but preparation for the project was not good. I requested for specific caulking material but the person came with generic one that they use for their project and the workmanship was not professional either. It was like amateur handyman and caulking in the baseboard started cracking in many places the next day but good thing is they sent the same person next day to fix it. Overall I feel they are less expensive compared to others but it lacks quality work."

"This is my first negative review ever but thought it was worth doing if it saves someone from the experience my wife and I had. Robert with Greentech Builders had asked me to write a review not far into our projects and unfortunately, I did and gave him a good one. We had several remodeling projects with the house we purchased and they started off ok but quickly turned very bad. We had a tub and two toilets replaced and out of three, one toilet and the tub were not installed correctly and leaked through our ceilings. He said he would repaint the areas but never did. An electric gate he installed never worked correctly and he did not come back to correct it. One project was having our kitchen tiled and was left with cracks in areas and not finished with quarter round trim but left with gaps along the cabinets and island. Robert said this wasn't included in the price but we paid probably 10% more than the next quote. In short, he charged us more than some other quotes and most every project turned out to be a mess. He didn't follow up and rarely if ever showed up to oversee his subs. The projects we had should have taken no more than a month or so at best but they drug on for nearly 7 months. We've had several different houses with many different projects but this turned out to be the worst experience we have had. My wife and I were very nice and patient with Robert which might have been one of our mistakes. He took advantage of that. Now I am finishing and correcting many projects that I paid a lot of money to Robert for. Hire Greentech at your own risk. You have been warned."
