Best job I have ever had done by a contractor! It was unbelievable and fantastic. Best interface I have had with a contractor ever. He did what he said was going to do really did more then that and it was the highest quality I have ever seen!

John and his crew removed my old exposed aggregate patio and brick pavers sidewalk and replaced them with new exposed aggregate patio and walkway. My old patio sloped about 6" from my patio door to the edge 10' from the door. The new one was raised with only about an inch of slope. I worked in construction my entire career and can say truthfully these guys do quality work. They used laser to set the elevations correctly. They spanned the area to be poured with 2x4 and verified 4"space for new concrete. They used a plate vibrator to compact the base they brought in. They were careful not to get concrete on patio doors (covered them with plastic). Crew consisted of 3 men and 1 woman, and they worked their butts off. Everything have to be moved by wheelbarrows from my backyard to the front. My old patio had a footer around the outside edge that was at least 12" deep in some places. No problem: they called John and got a large jackhammer delivered. Entire slab had to be sawcut and jackhammered for removal rather than just broken up with sledge hammers. They got here at 10 in the morning, and didn't leave until 10:15 that night. Professional, courteous, hard-working, quality driven crew that I highly recommend if you need any concrete work done. Very unprofessional, not customer friendly. Does not support or back up the work that they do. The owner claims that another contractor made *the mistake* with our original patio causing it to sink rather than the extension they did to rise. I find it very hard to believe that Pulte Homes, a national builder, does not know how to properly install a patio. When Pulte installed both the patio and driveway, the ground was completely prepped with packed dirt, sand and then rebar - we have photos to verify. Texan Concrete simply made a wood frame, put down rebar and poured directly over our existing sod! No prep was done although the estimate and email from them both reference prepping the ground. Now we have to deal with having someone fix the issue. There is a significant rise from the original patio to the new addition poured by Texan Concrete and it is a hazard. And to make things worse, he has harassed by texting over and over even when I said to stop texting, did not give my husband the opportunity to speak when he called to try to discuss with him and just keeps insisting they did nothing wrong. Guess Pulte needs to figure out how to pour a patio...NOT! Please do not hire this company!

They were very nice and built my brick mailbox exactly the way I wanted it and my mailbox gave my house new life.

John responded to our contact promptly as he said he would. The estimate was very reasonable, and so we had his company do the work. John and his crew came in short order again as he said he would to get the work done. I scrutinized the excavation of our old patio and walkway, the prep work where he had to remove dirt as well, he brought in concrete gravel, packed the gravel down very, very, very well with a powered machine, installed the forms and added the 18" mesh of rebar all about the site. He then poured the concrete, and pulled the rebar up into the concrete. The finished job was spectacular! I would definitely recommend using John's Texan Concrete Specialist.

John, T., and the crew were amazing! They outdid themselves! We had a walkway, patio extension, and brick flowerbeds installed. They were thorough and made sure to answer all my questions and accommodate my last minute changes. Example I forgot to move the sprinklers over. They said we normally don't but it's not a problem at all we can absolutely do that for you. Truely above and beyond customer service! They even let my kids (age 3 & 9) help smooth out the walkway and helped me make sure their handprints were perfect. It's always wonderful when someone takes the extra time to educate and allow kids to have a part in projects. Something that they will remember for a LIFETIME! I highly recommend Texan Concrete Specialists! They beautifully executed the ideas I had in my head and brought it to life! I will definitely be hiring them again for the future projects we have plans for.

After several bad experiences with contractors recently I finally found one that followed through with quality work done in a timely manner. The crew was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure I knew what they would be doing and to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I will definitely be contacting them for my next concrete job.

I am a 75 yr old woman who only knew my driveway looked awful. I thought about just filling in the cracks but was told this solution would not last. John came out and explained all the ins and outs and the need for rebarb under the concrete. He gave me a reasonable price and start to finish was 2 days.His crew cleaned the property emaculately. Highly recommend this gentleman for any concrete project you have.

I requested an appointment on Thursday afternoon and got a call Thursday evening to discuss the project. John came to my house on Friday morning and I had a concrete patio by Monday afternoon. They were fast, professional, and the quality of their work speaks for itself. I would absolutely hire them again, and will be recommending them to anyone looking for patio work from now on.

John was fantastic. Unfortunately, we had a few delays only due to crazy weather. John contacted me often and kept me in the loop on his plans. Ultimately, he worked me into a day when he had another larger project in my area and got patio poured. His team was extremely professional and worked with great pride in their trade. They kept the job site clean and safe and treated my years and home with great care. I couldn't be happier with the work they did! The pricing was fair and consistent with my expectations.

Never have I hired a company that was a zero all the way around. They didn't follow our plan, ran a tractor into our air conditioner, did't put a base down, as contract stated, didn't know anything about water drainage, broke our sprinkler system, put equipment in neighbors yards, dumped trash in the reserve at the end of our street. Unprofessional and should all work under the supervision of pros. Now the concrete supplier is at our door because he has not been paid. I feel his pain as go thru and spend time and money to repairing things that are broken. They didn't listen or they didn't speak to one another nor did they really care. Just wanted to hurry and get to the next job. Every day I look at this patio and driveway and wonder how they got this far.
