Description of Work: As Technics is the contracted window tinting provider for DFW Audi, I selected them to tint the windows on my new Audi. Their shop and waiting room is a bit rough rough & tumble, but they provided excellent advice prior to the installation, patiently answered my questions, and got the job done while I waited, in even less time than I'd budgeted. They might not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and Technics did an extremely nice job.

BE VERY CAREFUL using this shop to do any work, especially putting film on your car. I took my 2015 Porsche Panamara to them for 3m Film and they said all the right things about taking care of me and doing it right and understanding it's an expensive car. Then a few weeks after it was done the nightmare began. The film was not installed properly and started to come off, I had to go back 3 times in 6 months for all of the issues. They cancelled appointments on me after I showed up saying they didn't have time, they failed to call or follow up after agreeing to pick up my car and over all they just have horrible customer service. This car was 2 months old when it was installed and now the owner is trying to say the damage was caused by how I drive and curbs...LOL its the top of the bumper and the car has ZERO damage on it....its insane how the owner Cory Benton runs this shop. I personally got a hold of him after all the issues and the Audi Sales Person that referred me suggested I call him, he never followed through on his promises and then claimed I didnt show up for appointments, as if I would want to drive around in a $120k car looking like crap. I finally was given no choice but to go to Park Place Porsche and have it completely redone and that cost me $1200. I reached back out to the owner to ask him to reimburse me for some of this and all he did was start trying to push the blame to me. This is NOT a reputable company, they do not do good work, they do not follow up and the owner could care less. I now have had some others tell me they have had the same issues, wish I knew that up front. Dr. T. Gibbs

Hello [Member Name Removed], Sorry you feel the way you do. As you know we opened another location in Fort Worth a couple months ago. Ever since most if not all my time is spent at that location. I did forget to call you in a timely manner but I did manage to get a hold of you and we set an appointment for you to come in and drop the car off. We had you down for a 12-1pm drop off appointment. I had made arrangements for me to work at this location so I could take care of your car specifically. You came in at about 4pm that day. But we had a full schedule already so there was no way to fit your car in. I had planned to remove and replace the film on your front bumper so I needed about 3-4 hours with your car. When we talked that day you acknowledge that you were running late and said it was because you could not find anyone from work to pick you up. You expressed your frustration with having to come back again and I apologized. I explained why the film was lifting and you seemed understanding, and said you would call to reschedule when you were not so busy. I did not hear from you until Tuesday of this week. You say I was suppose to call you and make you an appointment, but I do not remember that being discussed. Sorry. We have about 75+ calls per day. 10+ emails per day, and we do 10+ cars a day. Sometimes we do drop the ball and forget things. I do my best to keep up with it all and I am very thankful for ever call, email and customer we get! My wife and I started this business with all we had and we take great pride in our customer service. We love our community and feel very Blessed to have a business and a list of repeat customers a mile long. I will look at what has happened here and make sure we take the necessary precautions to prevent it from happening in the future. As for the damage that was on your bumper. It simply did not happen at my shop. I own up to our mistakes and have no problem paying for our mistakes. No matter how much it cost. Just this month I replaced something for a customer and made a customer for life out of it. I understand the value of doing what is right. Again, [Member Name Removed] I apologize for the confusion.
