Structured Foundation Repairs and Roofing Systems

I was told by a couple other foundation people that I needed piers and was quoted several thousand dollars more than what I paid Structured for repairs, and not a one of them even mentioned the beams . I only needed to replace the rotted beams, the piers were fine. Honest people hard to find. I would not use anyone else. They were fast and left no debris.

l engaged with an Engineer to have an analysis of my foundation relative to some cracks I observed. This resulted it me calling Structured to have them review the report and make recommendations. I was told the front of the house was sinking and needed to be lifted by Preston Marcom. I observed the cracks getting much worse on the work day and reached out to Preston. H quickly responded with a generic excuse. I went to the crew leader. He just smiled and nodded. Preston went AWOL and the crew left. I immediately got a phone call looking for the balance of the total of $11k. I told Roxanne I would pay when I received confirmation the work was completed. In my opinion she was terse, threatening and said Preston would call. He never did. I scheduled my engineer to come out and review. He came the next day. The property had not been lifted. I then learned my relationship with the engineer was usurped by Structured in the contract I said so they could grade their own work. Roxanne kept calling for money having no idea Preston, her coworker, hadn't called (her threat when I didn't pay immediately) Eventually Van called. He explained that anything that occurs during the process is their discretion and that's in the contract. If I didn't want to pay he'd be happy to put a lien on the house. So at this point l've paid $11K, the foundation isn't lifted and I have larger cracks to fill. Think twice before using this company.

Warning: if you don't have much internal damage prior to Structure making repairs you may end up with hundreds if not thousands of dollars in drywall/painting repairs after they're done:(. Before starting the work I had one minor crack in the drywall which prompted me to call Structure for an evaluation. When they finished I had at least a dozen cracks which will require repair and re-painting. I called warranty and they came out and offered no assistance in getting the repairs made. To be fair they did to my understanding stabilize the foundation.

Very good company to use for these type of home repairs. They came highly recommened by my real estate agent. They were early every time they were scheduled to bid the job, do the work and finalize all the paperwork. The people they used to do the plumbing tests and the engineering tests were very good also. Everything went very smoothly. The were very responsive to phone calls, answered the phone and returned calls promptly. All the work was explained very well and I knew what to expect with the work. They cleaned up very well after the work was completed. The contract was straightforward and explained to me before the work was done. Very happy with this company, their professionalism and their high quality workmanship.

Working with Structured Foundation and Roofing was an amazing experience. They treated me with kindness and respect, explained everything to me, and listened to me and the problems my house was having. There are no egos here. No high pressure sales people here. What IS here is a group of professionals who want the best for your house. During the last storm I stood on my back porch and watch my new beautiful roof work with my new beautiful gutters and my new beautiful multi-layered drainage system work together to keep water away from my house. I highly recommend this company!

I am purchasing a house and my realtor recommended them to do my foundation inspection. They did a detailed inspection and I received the very professional report the next morning assuring me that I had nothing to be concerned about. They did this for free! I appreciate their honesty and professionalism at such an important time.

Be very careful in hiring this company!!! We hired Structured to do our roof after having success with the foundation side of the company and regret it! Sales was very deceptive on "BEST PRACTICE", codes, pricing, telling us they would work with insurance for hidden damages, reflash the chimney & skylight and make it look better than before. They were by no means the cheapest and we chose them because we felt it would be done right, and never have problem with a reputable company. The day of install and half our roof already torn off, we start to find out just who we are dealing with. The salesman showed up 2 hours after the crew, and I was told he forgot something on the charges and needs add roughly $300 extra for removal of felt underlayment. This is after a sales contract had already been signed by both parties, and his initial inspection he pointed out to me that there were 2 layers of felt underlayment needing to be removed. I asked several times about the cost to replace decking and it would have to go through insurance to recover the cost, and was finally told when all of it was done a specific price and how many sheets were used. We then received an invoice almost double that amount in an email stating that they would in fact not work with our insurance company, as now somehow have a cash deal. I called them out on this and they finally decided to contact our insurance company, and they reduced the charges excluding the removal of felt and the correct amount quoted for 9 sheets of decking that was replaced. All of the turbine vents and box vents were installed in wrong locations and had to be fixed taking multiple phone calls to get this done as the crew was packing to leave, and no one from the company was even here to oversee the job. It was admitted that they shouldn't have booked another job the same day that took our salespersons attention and left our job unsupervised. Damages were done to our gas furnace vent through the roof, somehow it was broken or cut off at roof level, and one of the 90s in the pipe was broken due to the weight of the double walled pipe! They have now denied any liability for this unless we can show proof that they did it, after being told that it would be made a priority and get it take care of immediately. Most people do not walk around taking video footage and pictures while a job is being performed, you trust the company to do the right thing, especially a reputable company! Skylight was installed wrong with flashing so high it caused a gap down the right side of the skylight allowing our AC/Heat to escape, and hornets coming in our home. Their original contractor refused to come back and fix this and they had to hire a skylight company to fix this, who told me the job was done so poorly that it would have definitely ended up leaking! That's great news from someone that Structured hired to fix their mistake! There were also row of shingles nailed so tightly together and crooked that the corners were pushed up like tee pees on the ends of the shingles and took 3 different sets of eyes from their crew to finally get that taken care of. The aluminum softit and fascia repairs that they hired a handyman to do look like I did it myself. We were told it would look great and a rep from Structured has stated she would want someones head on a spike if it were her home. They have denied accountability for the damages done to the counter flashing on our chimney as well, that we paid to have redone last year and was perfect looked great, and now has been beat on several times and covered by a fresh coat of paint trying to hide it, and saying it wasn't part of the job and they never touched it. This after having shown them pictures of before and after, stating it was clearly damaged and had tool marks from their crew trying to put it back in shape, and then coming back damaging it further. Never thought I would need video evidence of damages to prove that it was done by them. No one has touched any of these things besides them, like we damaged our home to make them look bad, the whole argument is ridiculous!

We just completed having 13 interior piers (and adjusted 6 exterior piers) placed in our home by Structured Foundation Repairs. Austin, who came out to inspect our home and bid the job, was very good to answer questions prior to the work. This was a very large job which required much work and preparation on our part as it covered 5 rooms in our home. The day of the work, they sent three crews out to complete the job within the time that they quoted us. Although this work was necessary to care for our home, it was also VERY invasive. The crews finished on time and left the house in the best shape that they could. Again, the clean up work after a job this size for you, the homeowner, is A LOT!!!! I would recommend this company should you have the unfortunate need to have foundation work completed.

The service performed was exactly as expected.

Structured Foundation did what they said they were going to do. Preston was easy to talk to on the evaluation. Crew were neat and organized. Yard look pretty good considering the work done. House was level to expectations.

We have used Structure Foundation throughout the years. Foundations are an issue here in North Texas due to the movement of soil. Structure Foundation warranties their work. They are professional and prompt in communication and execution in the completion of work. Highly recommend

This company is so awesome. They tell you what to expect,send quality people to do the job and clean up. George and his crew knew exactly what to do and kept us informed during the entire process. We will recommend Structured Foundation to anyone with concerns about their foundation.

They were excellent communicators on what needed to be done. They were efficient and on time.

Supervisor was constantly on his workers and the work only resulted in a raise of 2/10 ". Not enough to relevel our home and correct issues.

Exactly as described by the company rep when I was interviewing companies. We needed the work done quickly as we were getting ready to go out of town. We scheduled a date and they even called us back with an earlier date when they had a cancellation. The crew (4-5 guys + a supervisor who stayed on location all day) showed up on time and were able to complete the job in one day. This included adding 7 drain boxes and about 130' of pipe from the back of the house to the front (including cutting the curb in front). By the time crew left, you couldn't even see where the pipe was buried as they were so meticulous replacing the grass. Best news is, we haven't had any water in the house since the job was completed! Pricewise, they were very reasonable (and after seeing how hard they worked and how good the completed job was, it seemed better than reasonable!).

The biggest problem was the sales person over promising and under delivering. he put is work crew in a bad position promising something that could not be done the way he described it. Also I had a laptop and some prescription drugs go missing. The sales person also did not tell his finance people that I was paying with a cash out refinance, so that caused a lot of problems. Overall it was a bad sales person, and not necessarily the company as a whole.

I was very impressed with their work from start to finish. When I noticed a number of cracks in the ceiling, I was concerned so after reading some reviews online, I called Structured Foundation. Greg and Parker came out and did a thorough inspection. Informed me of the repairs that needed to be done, and kept me informed throughout the process. The crew that came out was very thorough in their work, kept me up to date on what they were doing, and finished the job in a matter of hours. Very professional and excellent work.

Kelly Carlton and his crew did a very good job in a timely manner and were proferssional throughout! Kelly listened to my concerns and addressed each one as if it were his home.

Structured Foundation did a repair on our home prior to us taking ownership of the home. They fixed the foundation but absolutely demolished our sprinkler line and flooded our backyard. The sprinklers were ran and this damage caused a 6” deep hole that I fell into. Their rep, Van, who can be found at 817-454-8403, told me that “We are not liable for any damages caused to property we work on; it’s in our contract. Didn't you read the contract?” I told him I would be speaking to my attorneys regarding the matter to which he taunted “I can’t believe you’d call an attorney over a $100 sprinkler line.” “It’s about the principal: you damaged my home, you should fix it. He ended up hanging up on me and later texting me a copy of the contract which I did send to my attorney. She responded by saying “I can’t believe any homeowner would actually sign that contract. They could destroy your home and not be liable for any damages.” So I’m out money to repair my yard after they did $4,700 work to my home. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

When I was quoted the job by Bill Tatum I was told they would repair my sprinkler/foundation watering system if they broke it. Well of course they did break it. Tatum said he would be out to fix it in a couple days. 10 days later I called and he said he would be out in a day or two. A week later I called and he said he would be out in a day or two. A week later I called the operations manager, Heidi. She said she would have someone out in a few hours. Well she did and they supposedly fixed everything. It’s not fixed. My foundation watering system is spraying water out of newly formed hole and speeding mud all over the yard. I am fed up with their promises. It seems that as soon as they got their $10K they were out. Makes you wonder about their warranty they claim to have.

Structured Foundation Repair did an extensive evaluation of our foundation and determined that no foundation work was required. Recommended drainage modifications instead. Appreciate them not recommending work that wasn't needed.

The representative was very informative and explained all of the factors impacting our foundation. No corrective action or repairs were required and could likely be avoided with careful management of drainage and soil moisture.

Called them back after 6 years - they had my details still and sent the same gentleman back to check out a couple of things that were making us anxious about our foundation. Billy, the great guy he is, checked out our house fully and came back with a clean chit and said there was nothing to be concerned about and that we should check back in the summer. Now that is how a true professional works - and that's why we call and ask for Billy. 100% recommend this company !

Showed up on time. Completed the job that day. Cleaned up throughly. I would use them again if the foundation began to have problems at another location
