Structured Foundation Repairs and Roofing Systems

Description of Work: Put in 12 concrete pilings. Rodney with Structured Foundation was very knowledgeable and helpful-- answered all of my questions thoroughly, even those sent by email. He could have "upsold" us on a lot of other stuff that Structured provides but he gave us the lo-down on why we didn't need the extras (such as root barrier and extra pilings)and I felt like he was trustworthy and that Structured would do the job right at a fair price. Also, his measurements and drawings/recommendation most closely matched those from the independent structural engineer's recommendation, in comparison to the recommendations from other foundation companies who gave us a bid. When the job was over, they cleaned up perfectly. I was amazed! And yes, inside doors that once stuck to their upper door frames now open nicely.

Description of Work: They arrived on time (about 9:00) and set up rapidly with a team of about 6 workers plus foreman. Most holes were dug simultaneously, with removed dirt heaped on canvass spread on the lawn. Moderate vibration from the hydraulic jack (used to push piers down) lasted only about 30 to 35 minutes. The clean-up was rapid and complete. They were gone by 12:00. I was very pleased with their work. A water leak detection after setting the piers was performed by a plumber to insure no plumbing was damaged by their work. The leak detection was part of the total package.

Description of Work: As far as I can tell, they did a good job of leveling my foundation. However, they promised to return to restore my paver patio to level since they had to remove sections of pavers in order to place the piers. It has now been three full months, and the patio still has sections which are significantly lower than the parts they did not disturb. I have talked to them by phone about this on three occasions, and although I was told again that they would come to do the repairs, no one has showed up or contacted me. I assume that they will not be coming back and that I will have to do the repairs myself or hire another company.

Description of Work: We hired a structural engineer to develop a plan to repair our foundation. That was one of the smartest things we did. We hired SFR to carry out the plan. They were hesitant to do so (engineer called for LDL beams and more than SFR thought was necessary) but the engineer and we insisted and they came through and did all that was required. I'm confident that our foundation is now, better than ever. I would use SFR again and I would use Ryan Lockhart as an engineer again as well.

Description of Work: Nice guys that came out to go over the basic information and go over what the work would entail. We also had them install a french drain. |the work was done in a timely manner but the workers cut the line of my sprinkler system and at the time it happened the Structure Foundation spokesman said they were not liable. |I had to have the sprinkler system rewired at my expense of $300.00. 9 months later needed an adjustment on the foundation. Workers came out and adjusted the foundation and cut the sprinkler wires again. |The gentleman from Structure tried to rewire the system. It work at the station he rewired but the other parts of the system did not.Had to pay another sprinkler company to rewire. |Still have cracks in the walls but am afraid to call them back to adjust. Can't afford another sprinkler system rewire.

Description of Work: I used Structured Foundation 4 years ago to install piers around the entire perimeter of a house I have since sold. The entire experience (considering my house was cracking down the middle) was great! They fixed the everything at a price that was less than 3 other companies I called. So when I noticed cracks in my new house I called Chris Bailey right away! He is wonderful and luckily did not find any reason for concern! I would never use anyone else for foundation issues. They are honest, prompt and professional!

Description of Work: After noticing some cracks over the holidays I looked to Angie's List for foundation repair recommendations. I was drawn to Structured Foundation Repair because of the quantity of positive feedback and recommendations. I called and got an appointment about 1 week out, which was this past Friday at 11am. At around noon I called in to the office to confirm that I had the correct date/time and get a status on our appointment. The scheduling person gave me the cell of the technician, said he had gotten a late start that morning and told me to call him myself to find out his timing. I called his cell immediately, left a message and still (as of Tuesday evening, 4 days later) have not heard a word from either the technician or the company. Bottom line, I got stood up, even after calling in to both the office and directly to the technician. Based on all the comments I do not expect that this is their normal course of business, but unfortunately my experience.

Description of Work: The project to install five or six pilings beneath our house to correct the settling foundation went very smoothly. I was particularly impressed by the team's professionalism and experience.

Description of Work: Installed piers under our house and leveled the foundation. The crew worked without loud chatter, were happy and diligent. The crew chief was informative and made sure everything went smoothly.

Description of Work: I just had them do an evaluation and give me an estimate. Went with another company because of lower price but really appreciated their professionalism and service. Later wondered if I made the right decision to go with lower price because the other company was disappointing.

Description of Work: They installed 16 piers. Came out when they said they'd be there, did the work and cleaned up when they were done. I had them back out in November, 2014 because I put my house up for sale and several people who came to look at the house commented that they thought the side of the house where the work was done didn't look even. I called Structured Foundation and they came right out to check, and sure enough it was slightly off a little bit, and they repaired it within the month at no cost to me. They were great to work with, and I sold the home and the warranty transferred to the new owners. I highly recommend them!
