Don't trust them!
Description of Work: My estimate started at over $12000.00! I was getting several estimates and told them this. The lowered the price, if I would commit today. One again I told them I was getting several estimates before making a decision. Let me call my boss..... Lowered the price again, if I would commit today. I felt like I was buying a used car! The price was lowered almost $3000.00 before he left. Makes me feel like I would have gotten a terrible deal if I would have made a commitment to the first price. He told me that you never need more than one pier for a small front porch and then proceeded to say that I needed three for my small porch! Did not trust them. Would not use them!

Structural Analyst Rodney Caprio writes: I would like to start my response by establishing that I visited this property over six months ago. During my inspection, the customer made a point to tell me she was getting multiple bids. Since it was almost seven months ago coupled with the fact she met with numerous contractors, it is obvious that her recollection is not accurate and she is confusing several different contractors and pricing. After reviewing my records, I left the customer a bid for $10, 985. Our agreements state that they can be withdrawn at any time if not accepted within 14 days. We don’t believe in “price dropping” or “sign this day” tactics as the customer describes. We simply do not have the margins to provide a discount of the magnitude she refers to (from $12000 to $9000). Her recollection of recommendations for the front porch is inaccurate. I only recommended 1 concrete footing on the patio. If the customer has questions or is confused about her bid I would be more than happy to schedule another visit for clarification.
