 + -1 moreI noticed that water was in my driveway. there shouldn't' be water in my driveway if I have gutters. I told my husband to get up there and check it out to be sure the gutter wasn't clogged. I didn't want it to back up and get under the shingles and cause more damage. He got up there and noticed, it was not clogged, but some how the gutter was bent. I called SPC to come check the gutter. They said they had a flat rate to come out. They told us what they would do to fix it and how much it would be. They checked the rest of the house and noticed other areas of concern. The house had a lot of gutter and not enough down spouts to help carry the water away from the house, so they said they would fix all areas of concern at no additional cost. Before he left he checked it over again. The workers were great. They let you know when they get there and when they are done they have you check their work over. I LOVE this company and Highly recommend them!!
Description of Work: Repaired my gutters. Not only did I have a problem with a spot on the over hang of my garage, but when he came out he found other issues from the previous guys work and fixed them at no extra cost.

Description of Work: I originally contacted SPC for an estimate on placing gutters on my home.The contractor was prompt with his response and agreed to come over and give us an estimate. After he completed his estimate with the gutters he informed us that after inspecting the roof his opinion was that we had hail damage to our roof. We were surprised to learn of the damage to the roof. He advised us to contact our insurance company to file a claim. Which we did and to make a long story short the insurance company sent out an adjustor. They climbed on our roof and took pictures but after several weeks of waiting for the insurance company to give us an estimate we were told by the insurance company that we were not in need of a roof at all. The insurance company sent out four different roofing companies some of which who were on Angies list said the same thing that our roof was in excellent shape and did not require replacement. So after wasting our time even his estimate for the gutters was at least twice as much as everyone else. So beware and make sure you get several estimates from different companies before getting screwed by this company.

We liked several other styles but it was the overall cost which was not within our budget. He was very knowledgeable and nice. They were timely and did what they said they would do. We were pleased with all of that.

 + -1 moreI couldn't say better things about Mr. Shaw and Angel. I sent John an email to get an estimate to have gutters put on my home. Not only did I get a quick response from John but he was flexible and able to communicate via text which is important to be due to my busy schedule. His guy Angel came out to the house and walked me through the entire project and was able to answer all of my questions. Angel was on time this morning when he showed up, did a great job on the install, and walked me through the entire project upon completion. I'd highly recommend calling John Shaw for your gutter needs....I shopped other contractors on Angie's list and a few of them didn't return my phone call and follow up email.
Description of Work: Had new gutters installed on my two story home. Since the house was built 15 years ago we never have had gutters.

I ended up having some animals getting into my attic and I called SPC Roofing to come check to see if there were any areas where animals could be getting in. The owner called me and he had someone come out immediately and ended up finding some areas that needed to be closed off. They did the work very thoroughly, were so very professional and followed up with me to make sure I was pleased with their service. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy with what they did and I will definitely use them again. You can tell from the minute you meet with them that they go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy with the work that is done.

Clean and professional, well-spoken guys that really seem to know what they are talking about AND take the time to explain things in simple terms. From the first time that I spoke with them, to the day they showed up for our appointment (on-time I must add) they were professional. They briefed me on how things would proceed in restoring my property. Impressively, they didn't ask for a deposit and only expected payment when completed (how refreshing!) When I had questions there was someone on-site to ask. Since completed I have had strangers stop and ask where I got my roof. I am happy to tell them it was SPC Construction.

 + -1 moreI had a skylight broken during a hail storm. I called my usual home repair people, but they never came out. So I started searching around on The List to find someone better. I tried SPC. They were very nice and professional and promised to come out and inspect the roof for further damage while assessing the skylight damage. However, they also never came, never called again. I understand that businesses get busy when a huge storm sweeps through the area, but they need to have some system for writing down whom they have promised appointments to.

They were unbelievably professional and respectful (Sirs, Maams, Please, Thank yous) and took care of everything from start to finish with no hassles and headaches. I was shocked to see how courteous their roofing crews were and after coming home from work the very first day, they had nearly 70% of the roof replaced. They cleaned up completely- no nails, trash, or landscaping mishaps. They also gave me several upgrades (radiant barrier, solar power vents) but most importantly, by removing my wood roof and replacing with a beautiful metal roof, I saved a rediculous amount of money on my insurance premium. Needless to say, I refferred all of my neighbors on my street and we were all blown away by the service we've received. We cannot thank SPC enough and we always refer our friends and family when they receive damage from hail storms.
Description of Work: SPC handled my entire insurance claim after a hail storm completely damaged my roof, gutters, windows, fencing, and garage doors. They met with my State Farm adjuster within 3 days of our initial meeting and started repairing and replacing the very next week.
