Peerless Electric

I reviewed Angies's List seeking an outstanding electrical company and selected Peerless Electric. Allen arrived at the scheduled time and presented very professional and was very pleasant throughout his visit. He worked on two different areas, an electrical outlet in the kitchen and then removed a ceiling fan with lights in the den area. He also installed new ceiling lighting. His work was just perfect. I would be very glad to recommmend Allen to friends and family. l

I had these guys come in after another, better known, electrical company came out and told me they couldn't do anything to fix my issue with the lights dimming. Peerless came out, showed me where the problems were, gave me an estimate, and performed the work as written. Both were professional and respectful and did a great job. Oh, and they charged me half the price of the other company.

Very professional. No surprises. Outstanding 3 man crew. Have used this company before and will definitely use them again. A good example how a business should be run and how the service people should take pride in their work. Very one with the company have been very responsive.

I am very pleased with Peerless. They responded to my email through Angie's List very quickly and they set up an appointment with one of their electricians on a very timely basis. The person they sent out, Allen, was great. He was very methodical in trying to figure out which circuit and which outlet was causing the problem. We were so impressed that we asked for an estimate on an additional problem. He did not have the materials he needed on the truck, so we scheduled an appointment for today. Today -- same story. Allen called to let us know he was running a little late, which was fine. He showed up, did the work, and I intend on asking Peerless for an estimate when I start with some renovation work on the house in a couple of months. Excellent! Highly recommended.

They were on time, very professional. There were two workers, they worked quickly, but thoroughly. They left me with suggestions for improvements, quotes on a few things I asked about. They did not pressure me for services or try to upsell me on things.

Robert and Allen were fast, thorough and professional. They arrived later than the scheduled time, but called in advance to let me know, so they get no demerits for punctuality. I got a couple of estimates, and Peerless was by far the lowest. The job took them about three hours and completely met our expectations. I will definitely use this company again.

A Time was set up for the service to be performed. The company showed up at the back end of the appt time. The results I received from the package were very disappointing. No where in the package deal did it state that the labeling of the circuit breaker panel consisted of just a sheet of handwritten notebook paper taped to the inside flip up door of the panel and no numbers posted beside the actual switches. I had a family member present during the inspection and they told her since I was currently doing some renovations to the house Ireally needed to replace my electrical panel, get a sub-panel, and buy a grounding package. First off how am I going to replace a electrical panel when they did not state what size my current one is as there is no indication on the panel itself or on the notebook paper they left? Is it a 100, 200, 300, or 400 electrical panel? Once they were finished they informed her she needed to pay the $158 charge for the service. I had bought the service through Angie's List so there should not have been a charge. Once she called and told me about having to pay I contacted Peerless. Skip at Peerless apologized and told me they would return the check in the mail. To top it all off the very next day my outside outlets would not work and when I checked the notebook paper there was no indication of which switch was for the outdoor outlets.

They were local and I’ve heard the name before. They did excellent work and their price was comparable.

I have used Peerless Electric two times. The first was to check wiring in the kitchen at a rental house. The second time was a new home with faulty pool and outdoor lighting. Both homes are covered under a home warranty and were serviced by the warranty company's electricians. Both times the warranty company failed to properly repair the issue. I found Peerless Electric on Angie's list and both times they were able to identify the issue within the first 15 minutes and make the necessary repair. I'm pleased to have Peerless work on all our electrical issues. I was also excited to know their work held a 24 month warranty. This is comforting!

This is the second time I have had this company perform work at the house, and they once again have done a great job.

Over all I am happy because the bathroom is more quite. But as always I would recommended asking questions upfront to avoid any misunderstandings. The unit they wanted to install was not what I considered to be Ultra Quiet. I ended up having them install a different unit which I am happy with.

Al came out to my house on 2/20, spent time listening to what I needed, took notes, and said he would get back to me on Tues or Wed. I thought that was a long time considering the kind of work I needed, but I said ok. We had bad weather early last week which I realize could have delayed the estimate. However, last Thursday I sent a follow up email on Angie's List to see if the estimates were ready. Got no reply. So last Friday I sent Al an email to the email address on his business card. Ten days have now passed since Al came out to my house and I still have gotten no reply, from either Al or Peerless Electric, and both have my address, email, and phone number. Completely unprofessional and a total waste of my valuable time.

When he left I understood the overall of the electrical panel as well as the condition of the wiring throughout the house. He left a report with suggestions and ideas for followup and answered about a thousand questions. I would not hesitate to hire Peerless to perform any electrical projects in the future.

Called and left message about job with my phone number and address -- no reply or call back.

They guys were great. They informed me of the whole process. I couldn't not be any happier. I feel confident and most importantly I have the peace of mind.

I had contacted Peerless Electric to get some information about a replacing the bathroom fan. Al was very helpful and I scheduled an appointment to have fan replaced. Robert and Allen arrived on time and got right to work. In addition to getting the fan replaced, I wanted to upgrade/update some can lights and asked if they had any suggestions. Allen said that they had an LED retrofit on the truck and he got it to show me how it would look. It was exactly what I was looking for so while Robert finished the work on the fan, Allen changed out the lights. When Robert and Allen finished the work, they left the area spotless and the new lights and fan look great!! These guys did an excellent job and were very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely call Peerless Electric again . They do outstanding work at a fair price.

Great! These guys are good electricians but most importantly they're professional, polite and they do exactly what they say they'll do. Great guys I'll hire them for future electrical needs.

The pool pump would not turn on. The breakers looked Ok. Robert arrived on time ,went right to work , and found the problem .He fixed the problem and rechecked everything ,to make sure it was working. He also gave us some estimates of things we might want to do later.

Robert and Allen were awesome. They were diligent in finding the root cause of the issue that was preventing three exterior outlets from working. These outlets have not worked since we moved into the house 5 years ago. About a year ago, I had a different company come out to see if they could fix the issue, and it seemed like that company was more interested in getting me to sign up for other services and getting more of my money than fixing the issue I had called them out to fix. Needless to say the other company (which I see constantly advertising on TV saying they'll "fix it in a flash") could not fix the issue, or at least didn't care about fixing the issue. After a quick search on Angie's list, I came across Peerless Electric and decided to give them a call to see if I could get those outlets working once and for all. I was contacted promptly and the appointment was scheduled. Robert and Allen arrived at the expected time and got right to work. I could not be happier with the services, professionalism, and honesty provided by Peerless Electric. I also expected the services to cost more than they did. This is a top-notch company, and will be my go-to electricians from now on.

Every aspect was handled efficiently, with extraordinary punctuality. When beginning the search on the cost of a replacement old (dangerous) electrical panel, Angies List was used. Two contractors were invited to visit the property and define the scope of work, and provide a price. Both were professional and thorough. One of the main issues was what level of upgrading would be required to be replaced (even though it was functioning fine). Of the two Peerless was very thorough, and suggested some approaches that met the code requirements in efficient, less costly ways. They arrived on time, and performed the most critical task (removing an old, dangerous panel and replacing it with a new one. ) The new one was listed on Angies as a special offer. I spoke with the office about what I had and what I needed, and sent them pictures of the present panel. That communication enable be to feel comfortable about buying the unit they were using in the Angies promotion, and their request for pictures enabled them to bring the right panel for the circuits needed. Their work involved two electricians and lasted for 1 1/2 days. I was very pleased with the quality, the communication, the cleanup, and the performance of the system for the 7 months since the work. We did call them back in December 2014 to service a circuit they had not needed to work on in the April project. The representative was very efficient. There was one circuit where a Ground Fault receptacal had been placed in April that was not performing properly. It was quickly repaired at no cost. I feel that I have identified an electrical service company that I feel I can rely on.

Peerless came out a week or so earlier to quote the replacement. The person who met me for that was very polite and worked with me on providing a smaller window of time since I was meeting him on my lunch break. The quote came in right at what I expected based on my conversation with Peerless before hand and was right on the mark with other quotes I got. The guys from Peerless who did the work were great. They arrived on time and got right to work. I was impressed with the quality of the work performed and of the materials they used. I definitely feel that I got my monies worth and will be using Peerless again in the future.

great but the Installation took long than expected

Technician was very informative, helpful, and sounded like he knew what he was doing. The gentleman to schedule my service was nice as well. Robert was my technician. Though the service was above and beyond, I wasn't expecting the price to be this much.

My elderly mom lives with us and during this time of year the cold winter temps are very h****** her - her circulation is poor and she gets very cold very easily. I purchased a fabulous heater for her bedroom (1500 watts) which heats her room quickly but noticed that the plugin would get very warm to the touch. Thinking that I just needed to have a new wall plug put in I called Peerless. They came out that morning ready to install a new wall plug. Upon further inspection the electrician told me the problem was that the coverage to the room could not easily sustain the heater, lights and TV all on at the same time and that the circuit could shut down. This concerned me as I knew that mom would not be able to turn the electricity back on that that she could be stuck in a cold room till we got home. To fix the problem would take a dedicated line to be run as not to affect the rest of the room. I asked him if he could fix it same day and he said he was booked and that he would have to schedule me for another time - I quickly became concerned because I had to ensure that my mom is safe and sound and that a fire would not start nor would the electrical circuit shut off. Upon seeing my concern (record lows were forecasted for the next few days) he said he would call back within the next few hours and let me know when he come back out. He actually went back to work, managed to rearranged his schedule and came back out to take care of my problem that very day - what a hero and what a huge weight that took off of me. THANK YOU PEERLESS - WILL USE YOU FROM HERE ON OUT!!!

They were fine and did the work they said they were going to do. They came at their appointment times and I have no complaints. The work turned out exactly as I needed.
