Peerless Electric

Arrived right on time, quickly diagnosed and fixed doorbell problem that had stymied, 3 other companies. Did a quick check of ground faults and gave my husband some needed answers about a plug near the pool, that appeared not to work, but was actually tied in with the pool lights saving us an expensive repair. Would definitely use this company again.

Much more professional and inexpensive than the supply store contractor (where we bought the fans).

Fantastic job. All work done to perfection. Workers and David Roachelle were extremly professional and answered all my questions. Even made some suggestions to save money. Everything was turnkey so I had to do nothing. Great job.

The electrician knew immediately that the problem was with a GFCI due to the fact that most of the affected outlets were outdoors. He quickly found a socket that I didn't even know existed, pressed the button, and all was well.

When I contacted Peerless, I had to leave a message on an answering machine, but I had a return call from Dave within the hour. I explained the work I wished to be done & was told their workload was running about a week behind. If the work could wait, he would call me mid-week of the following week to set up an appointment to get the work done. On the following Wednesday, I received the call from Dave just as I was told I would & the appointment was scheduled for the next Monday. At 8 AM on that Monday, Dave called with an estimated time of arrival 10 AM & the name of the person who would be coming to my home. James was here by 10:10. He was very courteous, began the work promptly & was done in less than 2 hours.

He was punctual and very polite. He came over to do three jobs and stayed for two more that I found without a problem. He explained everything that he did and gave some advice for future minor problems that could occur. He cleaned up after he was finished. I recommend this company and especially their employee Jim Baker for his professionalism.

They did a very good job. I was working between them and the painters and they came back to hang the sconce lighting after the painting was complete, and I was very appreciative about that.

In early December, Mr. Chambers spent about 30-45 minutes with me, discussing the work and offering comments when requested. I received his bid a day later. Mr. Chambers bid indicated two full days, and scheduling this time off from my work place took some maneuvering. Mr. Chambers was patient, and followed up by email once or twice. I finally scheduled the work on short notice. Mr. Chambers took it in stride. The crew showed up within 10 minutes of the appointed time (both days), was pleasant, and professional. They took pains to clean. The attention to detail was VERY good: the foreman had a worker re-set an outlet that only slightly off. I compared prices with another well-regarded Angie's List electrician. The prices were roughly comparable: not cheap, but not above-market either. Peerless received my business because the other electrician would not give me a free bid. Regarding price: electricity is scary to me, I want it right, and you get what you pay for.

I called in the morning, and it was done by 3:00pm that day. They did a clean and solid job. It included drilling through a brick wall, digging in the black gumbo for 10 ft., and all installation per codes.

The team was punctual, professional and completed the work in a timely fashion. The quality of the work performed was excellent. We are very pleased with the work.

Reed came to give an estimate within 1 day of initial contact. He was very professional, gave good advice and recommendations on various ways of completing the work. Including cost saving suggestions. Schedule conflicts (his and mine) delayed the start of the work by about 1 1/2 weeks. But once he got started all work was completed in same day. Cleaned up after job was done. Everything works just fine.

They did an excellent job, I think it was a fair value price wise. They were courteous. They were a little late coming out due to a mix up.

After experiencing a partial power outage, I contacted my home warranty company. An electrician was sent out and he identified the problem, but said that he would not be able to get someone to fix it for a week and that because the problem was outside the house, my home warranty would not cover it. I was told to expect a charge of around $300. After reading the glowing reviews of Peerless Electric, I gave them a call to see if they could fix the problem any sooner than the first electrician. They listened to my story and told me to save my money, as TXU would fix it free. They even told me exactly how to describe the problem to TXU. I will call Peerless immediately if I need electrical work in the future and will recommend them to anyone who will listen!

They had a busy week, but made time to come by just a couple of days after my Mom called. They rewired the problem and explained everything to my Mom. She said they did a great job, and will use them again to install additional new fixtures in the future.

I called as soon, as Peerless opened and they worked me into the schedule right away. Reed was at the house, within two hours of my call. He was very thorough and genuinely a nice person.

Very timely and came when he said he would. Needed to go out to get a different box than he had brought. Charged $2.50 less than estimate. I did feel that the cost was quite high compared to work we had done last year with another company. He more than made up for it in attitude and personality. Very pleased!

When I called they scheduled me early in the day, so I did not have to miss much time off work. The electrician checked to be sure that replacing the breaker was what was needed. This was done quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to call them again. They were quick, professional and reasonable.

Called them to set and confirm an appointment. I was expecting about a week's wait. They were backlogged on jobs. I was pleasently surprised when they called the day after I made the appointment, stating that they had some free time to come by and do the job. The job was done in 2 hours. Overall, I was pleasently surprised at their professionalism. They showed up on time and did the work promptly.

Dave was very polite and courteous. He called to explain that he would be a little late since they had an emergency. Dave was a manager, who usually only does quotes and checks on the other employees, came to do the work since all of the others were busy with emergency repairs. He wanted to make sure my problem was taken care of since he knew I had taken the afternoon off from work. His phone rang several times while he was there but he would not answer it since it was on my time. Very professional.

Reed Chambers, Pres., was right on time, very polite, very efficient, and very helpful. He quickly diagnosed and repaired each problem and explained each step to me. He even explained that one problem I was experiencing was only because I was using the wrong bulb which was causing the light to overheat and switch off - no repairs necessary. A very pleasant experience.

I think that he was very knowledgeable about electricity! He made a correct diagnosis right away! I was very impressed.
