Peerless Electric

I used Angie's List to find someone to fix my electric stove top. I contaced Peerless Electric. When I talked with the person, he explained he could not fix the stove as the company was an electrical service, but he did take the time to listen to me and understand what I needed. He recommended a couple of other business that might help me. He went the extra mile to assist me with finding a company to help me, that really impressed me.

The workers at Peerless were really nice. They did a good job. Everything worked out the way I wanted it to.

Daniel was great. I thought I would have to replace a circuit breaker or more. Turned out he only needed to check the wiring in the switch and outlet. Total cost far less than what I thought I was going to have to pay.

The workers at Peerless Electric are very professional. They are also honest and won't sell you things you don't need. I will use them again.

Peerless was very responsive and called to provide an arrival time. Al was exactly on time, very professional, and completed the job quickly and efficiently. In addition, he did a good job with clean up.

Dave did an estimate which we accepted. He was on time, quick and professional. The workers were also on time, one worked inside while the other worked outside. They were quick, neat, and professional. Everything was done the way I wanted it with no problems.

Our fire alarm was going off even though there was no fire, and it was not because of the batteries. We called them, and they had to figure out why they were going off. They fixed the ground install that wasn't working. We were very pleased with them. They showed up when they said they were going to. The electrician was very clear about what he could do for us. He went back and got some additional materials quickly within an hour.

From the start to finish, the job went very smoothly. Al called ahead before he arrived and showed up as scheduled. I explained what I wanted him to do - we discussed the job and the options available, light locations, fixture sizes, etc. Al gave me a list of materials to purchase and began the job while I was at the store. It took about six hours from him to complete the job, he cleaned up afterwards and my wife and I were very pleased with how it turned out.

Peerless Electric did a great job for me. They were friendly. They worked quickly and cleaned up their mess before they left. I would use them again when needed.

They did a great job. They were absolutely wonderful. I can't sing their praises enough. They were right on time and called in advance to confirm appointment. They came up with a solution for a problem we were having with our kitchen lighting.

The man came and said it was the outlet to the freezer that had made them all go out. Then he hit the reset button and charged me $95. He was here about 3 minutes. A few hours later the freezer quit again and I went to look and discovered that the outlet he had reset wasn't even the one that the freezer was plugged into, and that all the other outlets were not working again. I gave them high marks though, because when I called the mgr about this, he sent the guy back to put in a new outlet run from another breaker just for the freezer. He apologized and did not charge me any more money. Having run several businesses myself, I know that mistakes happen...It's how you handle the resolution that makes or breaks your ultimate success. I would definitely call them again...

The electrician (I think his name was Alan, but I'm not 100% sure) was late. The owner/manager called to say that Alan was going to be late, so that was not a big problem. Alan was about 30-45 minutes late when he arrived. He immediately said I would want to hang my tv on the wall. I had thought about this, and figured that 'eventually' I would look into that, but my main concern at this point was getting the outlet grounded. Alan said he would need to install the outlet high on the wall for the tv. There is a sliding door inside the wall, so Alan ended up installing a new outlet near the ceiling. He said I could run the wire from the tv up to the outlet. As he was doing the work, I asked him how I would run the wires from the cable box, etc., up there as well...without it looking awful. He said he didn't know. Therefore, I asked him if he couldn't just rewire the outlet which was already there. (which is what I had ORIGINALLY asked for, and is what the job was bid on). He said that would be too difficult, and gave the reasons why. I said someone had managed to wire the original outlet, so it must be possible to do. Alan said that this was done when the house was being built, and everything is eaiser to do when the house is being built. Alan said the job was bid on three hours of work and we were already pushing three hours. He had only been here about an hour or an hour and a half, so I realized that even though he showed up late, he must be billing from the time he was 'supposed' to show up, rather than the time he 'actually' showed up. Rather than argue with him, I let him go ahead and do what he wanted to do. So, I have a useless stupid looking electrical outlet up near the ceiling, and I still need an electrician to come rewire the outlet that I requested the first time. I will NOT be calling Peerless electric back.

David called on appointment day and said that my appointment would be delayed due to some unforeseen circumstances. He wanted to reschedule for the next day. It wasn't really possible for me because I had taken the day off and couldn't take another day off to accommodate their schedule. I agreed to a two hour wait. Fifteen minutes later Daniel calls and says he's on the way (I guess David did some reshuffling of appointments). I really did not have to wait long and appreciate that David made it happen pretty much on time. Daniel installed a dedicated outlet after a navigating a few problems. He knew exactly how to do the job and did it with a good sense of humor.

I really liked the electrician that they sent out but he did not get the upstairs lighting right. He was trying to fix it by installing the switches upside down and when I tried to explain to him that it could be done another way he didn't listen to me. I finally spoke with the owner and I told him that I like the guy but he just didn't listen to what I had to say. The owner ended up fixing it for us which was great. I thought that it was going to be a bad experience but the owner made it right. Other than the upside down switches it was a good experience. I might hire them again but I would look around to other places first.

Electrician, Al Torres, came to our house over two days. Called before arrival, arrived promptly, worked efficiently and professionally. Would highly recommend his work to anyone.

They were on time and they were within the budget. They did a great job. They knew exactly what they were doing. He was very qualified. I would recommend him to anyone.

They came in exactly on their estimate. They were really courteous and good around the house. They did move some heavy things in the attic but didn't move them back, though I wouldn't mark them down for this. Everything else was great. They take pride in their work.

I think they did very good work. This was the first time that I had this company do work for me, but I was impressed. They were able to accommodate me when I wanted them to come to do the work.

I was replacing 7 outdoor light fixtures that I had bought. He arrived on time and got right to work. He also replaced some outdoor light bulbs that I could not reach (about 25 feet up!). He did not charge me anything extra! I scheduled him about a week in advance to accommodate my schedule. They could have come sooner.

They did an excellent job and I feel confident we have found an contractor for all our electrical needs. They showed up on time and completed the work quickly. Randy followed up to make sure everything went well.

The service man that came out was very nice. He came out and looked at the area of concern and I really appreciated his honesty when he told me I did not need to have the work done and also told me of a few things I could do myself. He did not try to sell me or scam me out of money, he actually did not charge me anything thing at all even for coming out. They are definitely on the top of my list if I ever need any electrical work done.

Daniel arrived 10 minutes early. He didn't even mind my 3 dogs barking at him. Daniel went right to work, explaining why there was smoke coming from the outlet as he was replacing it.

They came on time and he tired to wire them together and tried to save me some money. They did the job efficiently. Everything worked out fine.

They were very reasonable in price. The price was cheaper then what I thought it would be. He was very polite and wonderful with the four dogs. He came out on Monday for the estimate and was able to schedule the work on Wednesday. He was very polite and cleaned up after the work was completed that you couldn't even tell he was there. I also had to take two of the dogs to the vet and I left Al there to work.
