The overall job was great. They showed up on time, had all the parts, and fixed all my bad wiring and gounded my house and pool. We feel very safe in our house now.

Peerless Electric is professional and produces quality work. I corresponded with Peerless back and forth with questions via e-mail for about a week before scheduling an appointment. Peerless was always polite and answered my questions within 48 hours. Their price is reasonable, the work is done quickly, and the electrician is extremely competent. Peerless did such a good job I purchased the whole house surge protector Big Deal for my in-laws.

I had an electrical emergency in the morning and had someone come out that afternoon. Al was the dispatcher when I called, and when he could not find an available worker he came out himself. He was very patient, thorough, polite and efficient. Al found the short in the system quickly, and fixed it with dispatch. I would recommend him highly, and would call on him again.

The job was done professionaly and in a timely manner. The cost was excessive. After getting call backs from a couple of other contractors afterwards, I found I could have had the job done for $150 less. Won't use Angie's list next time.

This is the second time I have used this company. First one was on Angie's Big Deal. I was just as pleased this time as the first time. I will definitely use them for any future needs.

I was having issues with lights dimming and then getting very bright. I called Peerless Electric, and they were very responsive - able to come out within a day or two of my call. The electrician basically told me he thought he knew what the problem was, but if the work didn't resolve the issue, I would need to spend more money and have more work done. He did about $300 worth of work, none of which resolved my issue, and in fact, the problem got progressively worse. Since I knew my next option was to spend $500+ with Peerless, I decided to call another electrician. Within 30 minutes and only $40, the other electrician diagnosed the issue as a problem with power coming from the power lines (I'd lost part of the neutral), and not an issue with my house. I was able to call Oncor, and they resolved the problem that day. I really wished I'd called the other guy first and saved myself $260 and two months' worth of problems.

Had someone tell me the electrical wiring in our whole house needed to be replaced. It's an 80 yr old house with some original wiring, so not entirely surprised. Joined Angie's list to get a reputable 2nd opinion and chose 2 companies. Peerless call me back first, so I scheduled appointment with them. The repair man they sent was professional, friendly, didn't try any scare tactics or use any pressure and gave me several options to fix the problems. There is a lot more to be done but he fixed the broken/hazardous things and talked to me about some other things we might consider when we are ready. Really nice, knowledgeable and professional.

I liked that they offered a definite estimate for the work and it came out to that much. One of the other companies I called only gave me a hourly rate estimate. That may have been cheaper but I liked the certainty of the per strand pricing. The two workers were very pleasant individuals. I will hire them again since I have two more things I want to get done but haven't found the time to do it.

I spoke to a peerless employee on a Wednesday. I told him I had a kitchen light, in the ceiling that had 2 lights in it and they are florescent. He quoted me a price of $168.00. When one of their employees came to my house on Friday and checked my light, he said he hadn't been given the correct information, He said he would have to come back on Monday with the correct supplies and quoted me a price of $266.00 which included a senior discount. The actual man that did the work was excellent. The man that took the information over the phone, not sure what happened. Yes, I would use them again.

James was a tad late but he DID call prior and said he was stuck in traffic ( sign of a class act company!) He evaluated the situation but couldn't find the reason for our issue. He indicated he was going to call in another person to help him trace the problem. Within several minutes Daniel showed up. They felt the issue may be the wiring with the GFI somewhere behind the wall and indicated that they don't tear into walls to find the main issue. They replaced the troubled GFI and also installed 2 others where the fountains plug into the house outlets. They also installed an additional outlet in the garage as we don't have enough to keep our battery operated tools charged. They did an excellent job and we will not hesitate to use them again. I just wish they had magnets with their info as I tend to lose business cards.

All of the work was completed in one day. From Dave's initial visit to give us an estimate to the actual work done by Dan and Al we couldn't have been happier. Dan and Al took extraordinary care in their work, whether it was working with antique lighting fixtures or installing new equipment and wiring. Their expertise and problem solving skills are amazing.

Dave called to make sure I was home. Donny was about 30 minutes delayed. Professional and dressed appropriately. Donny spotted another danger to our pool motor and recommend repairing. I complied. From start to finish he completed work in about 1 hour 1/2.

Electrician called to report that he tightened the light switch connections and it works now. Reported that he spent 2 1/2 hours there including a "diagnostic evaluation" on the backyard lighting. I feel like professionalism and good conscious would dictate that an electrician should replace a $3.00 switch that had been faulty instead of just tightening a few screws. I expressed my surprise at the time spent and the charges and he asked what I thought might be fair. I think if this was the true time that it took and the true cost of service then there would be reason to negotiate a price after the work had already been completed. If I did say a lower price and he accepted it that would confirm he attempted to charge more than the fair value in the first place and tells me not to trust them. I will not call them again.

They were wonderful. They were very professional. The people who came out were very professional. They did wonderful work. They were very friendly too. The cost was a little bit higher than I would have expected or from other estimates, what I have seen. I am glad I am with them. I haven't had any problem, everything went well. Everything is still working well. They were little bit higher than so many other people were but I think for the service I got it was worth it. Price; they were little pricey but they did very good work. Quality was very good. I would use their services again in the future and I would recommend them as well.

Peerless Electric (Euless, TX) provided an outstanding service on a Friday afternoon that took a dangerous situation for a house to a safe and secure one. This Spring in North Central TX was one that was incredibly windy. Wind gusts up to 50+mph were recorded in and around the DFW area from time to time. We've never seen anything like this before. This went on for several months. The electrical service to my house comes from an utility pole approx. 125 ft from the back of my house. The elect. wires come through a service pole on the roof that then extends vertically through the roof directly into the outdoor electrical meter, then directly into the main circuit breaker panel for my house (right under the meter). The screw-in anchors (2) and cables that secure the service pole to the roof, broke loose completely, I suspect from the wind. Both anchors came completely out, leaving two holes in my roof. Due to the weight of the wires & telephone wiring coming from the utility pole, the pole bent at an angle of about 45 degrees (as opposed to 90 degrees from a horizontal plane). But when it did, the top of the meter box where the metal pole enters into it, bent. This junction of the pole to the box was now bent and had a wide opening in it which would have easily let rain in, not to mention thousands of June Bugs and God only know what else. A small bird could have even gotten in. Springtime in Texas. This was a very hazardous situation. If water had gotten into the hole and gone into the meter box..... well, it would've been quite a fireworks show right before my house would burn down. It's now in the afternoon of Good Friday (I was off that day). I had joined Angie's List and went there first. I left a message with the answering machine at Peerless Electric, suspecting that someone might hear it in a day or two. My hunt for other electricians continued as did my calls. To my surprise, about 10 minutes passed and I got a return call. I explained my dilemma and in about 45 minutes, I had two guys here looking at the problem. (The wires from the pole to the house were now about waist high in my backyard due to the bent pole). Fully expecting them to put a temporary fix on this until Monday, I was surprised to hear one of them say, "I don't think I'll rest easy this week-end with this in this condition. This is dangerous." They not only permanently repaired it, but secured the pole to my house with bolts that actually go through the roof with a special attaching device on the inside of the attic. "I guarantee that'll never come out unless your entire roof rots away or you get a tornado - then it won't matter anyway." They put on a new cover for the top of the meter as well as a new flashing and sealant on the roof. Power was safely restored and I could breathe a sigh of relief. These guys were great. They went right to work and worked very well together as a true team. I gladly supplied a cooler on the patio with plenty of water and Gatorade (it was not hot, but very warm outside as well as humid). Their professional approach, use of time, communication and repair in a careful and safe manner, was excellent. I didn't mind writing the check. I will definitely use this company again. I was very impressed with their fast response, personal concern, and making the support device to my roof much stronger than before. My thanks to this company, and THANKS TO ANGIES LIST!!

He arrived on time. Explained all he was doing and also gave helpful advice. I thought he was very professional.

I called, left a voice mail and received a call back within 20 minutes on Monday. I described the problem and we scheduled a Thursday at 10am to noon time frame for an electrician to come to the house. The estimate was $220 per circuit to be located and repaired, although it might be lower if it was something very minor and discovered quickly. Daniel called at 10 and told me he was 15 minutes away. He arrived on time, was very personable and professional. I explained the problem, he reviewed the pricing, telling me that it would be $220 per circuit, whether it was 45 minutes or several hours. I also asked him to point out any "code violations" that he saw as he investigated the problem, which he did. He was able to determine the problem with one of the circuits almost immediately. The 2nd circuit took longer. He discovered a problem with one of the wires running to the first socket from the panel. We had an extra pair of wires in the cable sheath, he switched to the new wires, re-assembled the plug-in, and then decided to investigate the entire circuit between different junction boxes.. I let him work, and later he came back and told me he was finished. Instead of just using the new wire, he went back and opened up all the junction boxes for that circuit, checked all the wire nut connections, replaced some, and then found two connections that were not to code. One was a junction box without a cover, put in by another contractor years ago, and another was where there were wires connected without a junction box at all - both are code violations. He put in new junction boxes, ran the wires and attached them to the joists, and essentially cleaned up several electrical messes without me asking. When he was done, he informed me that he would only charge me for one circuit, or a flat $220 for all the work he had done. I had expected a bill of about $400, which is why I was reluctant to hire an electrician in the first place. I'm very glad I did. I've gone back and inspected the work, and it is A1 - Daniel is a craftsman, and apparently doesn't like 2nd rate work being done. Any time I have future electrical problems, I will be contacting Peerless again.

Mr. Tijerina looked at my brand new box, and said I probably didn't need the inspection I had paid for, but he went ahead and performed the safety inspection, and repaired a few breakers (at no extra charge) that were left undone by another company. He was wonderful, cheerful and informative. I would gladly call the company again.
