I had purchased a big deal but we had to get a refund. When they got here, it seemed like they were looking to add more charges to it and so we cancelled. They came out here and some of it was just plain misunderstanding because when I went and looked more closely, it said that you had to have free circuits to add these to your circuit box and my box is full. They came in and took a look and said that they could do it but it would cost a couple hundred dollars more, and so we had to cancel the big deal. I am not saying that they were being dishonest, but at the same time, I wasn't believing the prices they were quoting.

We called Thursday June 13, 2013 and the next morning Al Torres came out, right on time. He quickly saw what our problem was and gave us a quote. He obviously knew what he was talking about so we said to go ahead and do the work. On Tuesday June 18, 2013, again right on time, the Peerless employees showed up, introduced themselves, and started working. Freddy , Allen ,and Robert were terrific. They even laughed at our corny jokes. The work was completed on time, the area was left spotless, and before they left, the guys made sure everything electrical was working inside the house. We hope that we don't have electrical trouble again but at least now we know a great company to call!

very quick response - solved problem and helped with putting a new plug in kitchen that I have wanted for a while. Also, quoting to put power in a pool cabana for TV and fan.

Provider contacted me quickly after I purchased the deal. I had overlooked that the fan offered was without light but for I think $50.00 more I was able to have a fan with light installed. Installation was quick and clean, all works great. Provider cleaned up after work was completed.

Smoothly. Journeyman (2nd generation) Electrician completed the work and freely discussed how I could go about adding an extra circuit for shop tools in the garage.

The Peerless electric team showed up right on time for our 8am appointment. They came in and started work on getting the area prepped. They gave me time to get all my electrical needs out of the way (shower with hot water and charge the laptop) prior to the 4 to 6 hour process of changing out the panel. The guys went to work after giving me a 2 minute warning and provided updates as to how things were progressing throughout the process. Everything went exceptionally well... power came back on without a hitch and hopefully the panel has better quality breakers than the original builder quality breakers. It took them right at about 5 hours. So they made good time. The panel and surge protector both have a lifetime warranty on them and the guys at Peerless let me know that they would come out to replace them if they ever went out or caused issues. The guys cleaned up their mess quite nicely and were gone by 1pm.

I couldn't have been happier with this company. Al and Robert were so polite and helpful. My husband is disabled and we are both elderly. I needed help lifting my garbage sack and they helped me. They were so thoughtful and kind plus they certainly did a great jjob for us. I wish all repair and business people were like them! A true pleasure, Judy

Setting up the appointment was easy. I had been wanting a whole house surge protector as another line of defense against surges in addition to separate devices for electronics. Since you cannot add such things to most of your major appliances, this seemed like a good idea. The person performing the install arrived 40 minutes after the install window without calling me. Maybe that's not a big deal but I find it hard to focus on a task when I'm expecting someone to arrive any minute. Once he arrived the install went smoothly and didn't take very long. The only issue was that he wasn't able to explain theory of operation to my satisfaction. I thought the device would need to be in-line with the power entering the house (series circuit) versus a branch (parallel). So int he end I didn't have full confidence that the device would provide protection. He explain he installed it per the manufacturers instructions. So in the end I just had to trust that it worked. But hey, that's why we hire the professionals, right? As far as I know it is work -- at least the green light is on. So other than the slight ding on courtesy/punctuality, I was satisfied.

Very punctual and professional. The guys who came by were friendly and attentive while we reviewed the items on interest. The work they did was good, though the spacers around the new breaker were loose and had to be replaced. The price did seem high to me, considering they were really just replacing an existing breaker and receptacle (i.e. no new wire runs, etc.). Still, I'm happy with the service and would consider using them again.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service and it was for $175, but I spent more than that. I probably paid them double the amount or a little more than double. They came out and their service was fine. My experience with them was fine but I would have probably liked to know that it wasn’t for a whole home search protection. It was fine. I think they did the job just fine.

The repairman was prompt, courteous and thorough. Many of the things I called on were not the problem, so felt I spent quite a bit for the repairs, but that was my own lack of knowledge, not the company's fault.

Al from Peerless showed up on time. He even called to tell us he was on his way. He took his time and evaluated the situation and spent time answering my husbands questions. Even though Al did not perform any services (we found out what the problem was during the evaluation) we are very satisfied customers. For any and all future electrical needs we will be calling Peerless. I admit I was a skeptic of Angie's List but this is the second company that we have used as a result from reviews and I am a convert. I will be telling everyone I know about the excellent quality of service we received from Peerless and will highly recommend them.

They were nice but not very knowledgeable in some areas. The servicemen didn't know how to fix the lighting in our bar area, and we had to hire another electrician to finish the work.

In the process of changing the fluorescent bulb in our old ceiling fixture, the bulb was hard to pull out and the whole fixture pulled down from the ceiling, creating a hole. We called Peerless on Friday afternoon and Al Torres came Monday to look at it. At that time they were involved in another job and thought it might be a week before they could do our job, but Al said he would check because if there was time, they might be able to do the job that Thursday morning. The estimate arrived on Wednesday and they came Thursday morning. It only took about two and a half hours to complete the job. At that point they installed a cover for the hole and filled in the crack that ran down the ceiling until we can have someone repair the ceiling. The workmanship is excellent and the cleanup couldn't have been any better. Very professional job. Very professional people but informative and cordial. They also gave us our 10% discount for being members of Angie's List. We will definitely use them for any future work.

Al, Freddy & Robert came in and replaced our Federal Pacific panel and other minor repairs. They investigated a buzzing noise in the attice which turned out to be the old door bell that was still wired in upstairs but not connected to a button at the front door...made that repair. While we had them here, we asked if they could install 2 pull chain fixtures that we purchased...Al said no problem! (minimal extra charge and worth it!). The guys were on time, very polite, funny and worked well as a team. Would highly recommend and use again!

When I called Peerless, I got voicemail. I left a message and received a return call within the hour. They were able to come out the following week. The electrician called when he was 10 minutes out. He arrived on time. He was polite and friendly. He struggled with the closet outlet due to some wood stud issues and had to ask to come back in the afternoon. That was fine with me. He showed up again when he said he would. He finished the job. He cleaned up after himself. While he was at my house, I asked him to look at a couple of other things and give me estimates. He did so happily. I was impressed and I'll be calling these folks again.

They called right away, they sent over someone to do the service. I didn’t expect the price to be as high as it was, which is the only downside. They were prompt and quick with my needs.

The entire experience was great. I logged on to Angie's list this morning, after my wife and I discovered that our master bathroom outlets were not working, and reseting the breaker did not remedy the issue. Called this morning and spoke with Al, who had Freddy Vasquez call me back within 15 minutes and stated that he could be there within the hour. Met Freddy at my house, he was polite, professional and very knowledgable on the issue we were having. He performed a diagnotics and discovered the issue was the GFI in our spare bathroom. He explained the issue, quoted me a price to fix it, but also gave me the option of bypassing the outlet, which would fix the master bath outlets without having to pay him to install a new outlet....which I greatly appreciated. I had him replace the outlet, and while I had him there I had him upgrade 3 switches in our entry hallway that I had already bought last year. Freddy was professional, quick, polite, and straight to business....exactly what I look for in someone working on my home, especially when I'm out of work to be home for it. I would definintely recommend Peerless, as well as Freddy and plan on using them for any future electrical work.
