Al never returned my call. I think I will try and extend the electric myself.

I have engaged Peerless 5 times for various electrical work. The first three times the work was performed as requested and I was very pleased. However the last two times it was like a different company. My primary contact, Mr. Al Torres has failed to follow up on issues leaving it to me to contact him. Example, I purchased replacement ceiling fans and had Peerless install them. Now, it was no fault of Peerless that I was unhappy with the light kits that came with the new fans and wanted these kits replaced. I contacted Mr. Torres and provided him with the brand name and model number of the fans. When the installer arrived at my home with the new kits, they were for a different brand and would not fit. Mr. Torres did tell me that he was sorry about the error and he would work on getting the correct kits. This was on 10/26/2013. As it happened, one of the new fans had a bad motor and I had to replace it so I informed Mr. Torres that I would contact him when the new fan was available. I had the fan the week before Thanksgiving, but it took two emails and two telephone calls to get a callback from Mr. Torres. He came to my home, we discussed what I wanted done, and agreed not to try to do the work until after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving week Mr. Torres was to call me with prices so we could schedule a date/time for the work. On Wednesday, 12/4 I again had to call him, Mr. Torres did not have prices ready but promised to call me the next day. Well, it is now Friday, 12/6 and guess what... No call. All I wanted was to have a ceiling fan hung, two light kits installed and a replacement light over my kitchen range. All this time and no prices and no schedule setup for the work. Remember, this started back on 10/26/2013... Over a MONTH ago. If one was to ask me, at this time, if you are looking for electrical service, I would suggest you look to some other service provider.

I called the main office on a Thursday to arrange for a service call on the following Saturday. Freddy Vasquez arrived within the promised time window and performed all of the service within an hour. The price was fair, Freddy was courteous and efficient, and everything worked right the first time. I would not hesitate to call Peerless Electric for other electrical service.

Great, friendly people. Installer was a young guy who was very thorough and helpful. I absolutely recommend them, and will use them again.

I asked 3 companies to bid on some residential electrical work. One was a no show and one showed up but took 3 days to provide a quote. Peerless showed up to the appointment on time and provided a quote. I accepted the estimate although they were not the lowest bidder. I was in a rush so Peerless performed the work the same week. The workers showed up on time and worked steady until the work was complete. I inspected all work and found it to be very good. I had a positive experience with Peerless and would recommend them for any future work with me or others.

PEERLESS ELECTRIC IS AWESOME ! These guys, especially ROBERT have gone ABOVE AND BEYOND for me! Robert came out to speak to me about the job a couple of weeks ago, and they repeatedly tried to contact me several times, but I was so busy. When I was finally able to get back with them, they were so kind and very professional. They were here to start the work in just a couple of days. This was a huge job, and Robert and the guys were here every morning exactly when they said they would be here, and they worked really hard until almost sundown! They worked their tails off for me! I have been trying to fix up an old and dirty house and the conditions they had to deal with weren't exactly ideal either. They also had to move things constantly that I didn't get moved before they started the job. And, not once did they try to sell me anything I didn't need, or raise the price on me! But, they were all so kind to me and my children too. They really know what they're doing and are so professional. And the job just kept getting bigger, and they took it in stride. I am more than just happy and satisfied, I am very grateful to them and I now feel absolutely safe in this house. Things are working that never worked, things are also working so much better than they ever worked before. Also another man who came to install an appliance saw the new electric work that Peerless did, and he said "WOW!". You can not find anyone better than Peerless Electric !!! Joanna McCarty

Workers called before coming. Prompt. Very nice.

They clearly did not want to file for a permit to do the work. When I insisted they charged $400 extra. They seemed to be in a big hurry to finish the work and leave. Next day I discovered that two outlets that they replaced were dead, and my freezer was not working. Further examination revealed several other problems. They had to come back for another half day to fix all the problems. Very expensive, and very sloppy.

I called on Saturday and asked for an electrician on Monday, visitors arriving Tuesday. Monday am I got the call saying an electrician would be there between 2-4. Freddy called at 3 saying he was 15 minutes out. He showed up and in less than 20 minutes after I had showed and described the problem he solved it. A GFCI had tripped in the utility room. He was professional and courteous.

Appointment time set for between 8:00 and 8:30 AM, called at 8:30 AM to say he was on his way, arrived about 8:45. Quickly found the problem with the GFCI after I told him I had had some problems with the front outdoor outlet in the past. Replaced the GFCI breaker and corrected problem with front outlet (screw was touching metal case). Suggested upgrade of cover for outlet which I purchased from him. Installed home surge protector . Checked all plugs to insure they were working . Suggested installing smoke detectors, GFCI in kitchen and wet bar and second ground to breaker box. Although the attic was not originally checked, Reed Chambers returned to check the attic and apologized that it was not checked earlier and made suggestions as to items that should be dealt with there and will send me an estimate as to the cost of having them done. Even pointed out some items that need attention that are not electrical but need attention. I really appreciate his professionalism and going above just the electrical check.

The work was done well. The difficulty we had was with the cost. Changing the panel was a good deal. But the additional work, having now talked with some other electricians, was high. We were also put off by the charge of $350 for a permit that cost the company $50. If they were not registered contractors in our town, they would have had to pay an additional $100. If that were the case, there's still $200 left..........for their time to go to City Hall?? There was a lot more electrical work in the completion of our remodel. We have used another electrical contractor for that work.

Outstanding service. Used Peerless 4 days before to upgrade a circuit for a new air conditioner. The air conditioner was installed on Wednesday and the next afternoon late we noticed flickering ceiling lights. Thought problem may be caused from the installation, it was not. Called Peerless and left voice mail to call us first thing the next morning. They called first thing, I explained the problem. They call back in 15 minutes and Reed, the owner, said he was on the way. He inspected the wiring around the work area of the new ac/furnace, found no problems. Reed found two bad circuit breakers, replaced them and showed me exactly what was causing the problem. What a great company. Will use them again.

Electrician was on time, friendly, and professional. I will be using the company in the future for additional electrical work.

Reed, the owner, was prompt, friendly, knowlegable and professional. His team was upbeat, helpful, skilled and a pleasure to have in my home. We live in a very remote part of Wise county. A lot of companies would not even come out to bid the work for us. Out of the three we did get to come out, I chose Peerless due to many reasons. He was the only person to remove the panel box in his inspection! He was knowledgable about building materials and electrical systems from the era my home was built. He offered advise on other items in the home that I discussed with him based on his vast building knowledge. He owns a home similar to mine and was full of great info! He was respectful and helpful even though I am a female handling bids for us without my husband being there. The other two contractors were a little "too forward" with me which made me uncomfortable. Reed put me at ease and even offered suggestions for dealing with that type of thing. As a Texas Real Esatate Agent, I work with many, many contractors and technicians every single day. In my opinion, Peerless is at the top of the heap! Peerless is now my #1 referal to not only my clients, but my family and friends. I cannot say enough good things about them. We will use them again when we begin the 2nd phase of our rewire. Thank you Reed and your boys. Tyler and I could not be more pleased with every aspect of your service.

Prompt service, helpful telephone staff. Punctual to arrive at appointment. Work completed on-time and to a high level of satisfaction.

Outstanding company and service tech. We needed to upgrade an electrical circuit, new wire and larger circuit breaker for a new AC. I called and spoke with Al, told him my situation and he sent Freddy, excellent service tech, to the house 3 hours later, just as promised. We felt the price I was quoted over the phone was fair, especially on such short notice. will defiantly use this company again.

Crew arrived on time and was professional through the entire process. The crew advised of how things were progressing and asked questions before performing work. Crew was very courteous and worked very hard the entire time they were there. The crew left the place cleaner than when they arrived and billed as agreed. They explained what they were doing and why they were doing the work so that we could understand the work being performed. We highly recommend the company and have found new electricians for maintenance and service work needed for our home.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I love them. They did a great job. They have been back several times. I have recommended them to several other people.

Two young men arrived on time. I think one may have been training. Behaved professionally and were done quickly. We will call them again.

The technicians were very professional. We moved in the house last week and the breakers were stopping. I had another estimate which was a lot more. When they showed up this morning they came in clean trucks looking like new. I would recommend Peerless any time.

Al was great. Immediate estimate that was the exact final price. They were here on time both days & were easy to be around. Even good with the cats. Good professional work. Kept me informed. Done on time. 2 days. Had to come back for one small detail. Made me happy.
