Description of Work: They installed a non ultra quiet fan in one bath and another style fan in a second bathroom. He also installed an overhead ceiling light fixture and investigated our kitchen exhaust fan and an overhead recess light that had an odd odor coming from it. The gentleman was quiet and polite. i kind of felt that we did not save all that much though. I could be wrong, but our bill did seem a bit high.

Description of Work: Had two (I thought) electrical problems, called an electrician from Peerless, recommended on Angie's List. Problem #1, stove top popping breaker, the electrician said after checking it all out, nothing electrical wrong...stove top is the problem, NO CHARGE. (Imagine my surprise) Problem #2, Verizon (cable, internet, plus) on a breaker that popped every time the sprinkler system went on, on a grounded breaker system in garage, electrician said, there was another plug right next to the one it was plugged into that is independent moved the cord and said, NO CHARGE. Wow, just when I had decided there was less than a glimmer of honest people left in this world!

Description of Work: The service elecctrician from Peerless had to trace down the problem with why my cooktop was not working. He had to crawl through my attic (on one of the hottest days of the year in Dallas) and find a break in my electrical wire and repair it. He was professional, courteous and did a great job. I would definitely call them again if I need Electrical service.

Description of Work: They reworked my meter base and also tested the lights throughout the house.

Description of Work: He put in a bathroom heater exhaust and light. He installed attic lights and plugs. He installed a heat unit in another bathroom and installed a GFI plug in master bathroom.

Description of Work: Reed came to the house on time to give me an estimate for replacing my electrical panel (a recommendation of my inspector when I purchased my home 3 mo. ago) and to replace the circuit for my portable spa after a pool company, working through my home warranty repair company, had upgraded the spa's heating element without upgrading the electrical system and the home warranty company would not cover the electrical upgrade. Reed told me the electrical upgrade for the spa would cost me $600 but that I should try to get the pool company to fix what they had done. The pool company sent out a technician and fixed the issue (and I saved $600.) So although Peerless Electrical did not perform any work, I appreciated Reed's sincerity and suggestions and will definitely keep them in mind for any future electrical work I need done. I am genuinely pleased to realize there are still contractors out there who are honest and ethical and not just out to make a buck off everyone they possibly can.
