They did out in the freezing rain and got it done. He was great. He came back out and fixed one problem I had. The price was comparable to everyone else.

This was a great experience from the beginning to end. I worked with Aaron Nicholson and he is a true professional. We contacted Legends because we were sitting in the den of a house we recently bought when water started dripping through the ceiling during a rainstorm! We called Legends and were told that someone would get back to us that day. Within an hour, Aaron called - he had a very calm demeanor and indicated that it was probably a very minor problem, since a new roof had been installed on our house shortly before we purchased it. He caulked and sealed the vent pipe on the roof, and because he seemed so competent and knowledgeable, we inquired into putting gutters in some areas around the roof. Aaron was able to give us an estimate right then and there. We had numerous questions and he answered each and every one to our satisfaction, and the gutters were installed the very next day once we gave the go-ahead. Please look at the picture attached to see how unbelievably well he matched the gutter to the trim on our house as we requested We did not even have to take off work and be present while the work was being done, and you can tell it was done with care and precision. Afterwards when he called to follow-up and see how we liked the work, I was a little nervous because I had never had a house with gutters on it before. Aaron was as understanding and patient as he could be and took the time to figure out what my concerns were and explain to me, in terms I could understand, how gutters are designed to work. I am thrilled with the results. I would recommend Legends Roofing as a company and I would personally request Aaron as my adviser.

New gutter are fantastic. They were installed correctly with matching paint I provided, and are collecting water better than ever for my rain water cistern. Workers arrived on time, and completed the work, as scheduled, in one trip. Could not be happier.

We used Angie?s List as a starting point in looking for a Roofing Contractor. When we contacted Legends Roofing, the owner, Kanish Ali, came out the next day and personally and thoroughly examined our roof. While Kanish lives in Dallas, he also has crews working in Austin and he was supervising a job here. While we had had other companies out to give us estimates, we were instantly impressed with Kanish who is a very honest and straight talking person. Kanish is very well versed in all aspects of roof repair and patiently took time to explain all questions that we had. There had been a concern as to whether our insurance company would cover our roof. On inspecting our roof Kanish believed that there was sufficient weather related damage to file an insurance claim. At Kanish?s suggestion, he met the adjuster at our house and pointed out the existing problems. The adjuster agreed with his evaluation of the need for a new roof and we were able to work with Kanish to upgrade the quality of shingles and other roofing parts (vents, pipes) for the settlement assigned. The Legends? roofing crew was punctual and hardworking plus being very competent as they got an extensive roofing job finished in 1½ days. A bonus was that the crew was very careful in picking up any debris and we had little cleanup to do after they had left. A month later, following heavy rainstorms, Kanish contacted us to check on how the new roof had stood up to the deluge. All in all we have been extremelyin recent storms, T pleased with Legends Roofing and its owner, Kanish Ali. We would not hesitate to recommend Legends Roofing to anyone for any roofing job.

This was the second time of used Legends Roofing. Once again, I am more than satisfied with their work. I called Aaron and left a message about some storm damage and leaking. He contacted me within the hour and set up a time to come take a look at the affected areas. Aaron sent me a detailed quote the next day and worked with me to schedule the work. On the scheduled day, Aaron showed up with a full crew and repaired all of the storm damage and put a new roof on my laundry room. They carefully stacked the old original tiles for me which I can now use for future repairs to the main house. I have an old house with lots of historic character. Aaron and his crew are always very careful and sensitive when working on my property. They are skilled, clean, professional, and efficient. They do all the work they say they are going to do, and there are no surprises or hidden costs. Communicating with them is always quick and easy. Someone either picks up the phone the first time you call or returns a message almost immediately. I would recommend Legends Roofing to anyone and will definitely use them again.

The recent wind storm messed up my roof really bad. I was nervous about trying to get my roof repaired and not looking forward to dealing with the insurance company. But luckily I picked the right company and advocate! I chose Legends because of their high reviews on Angieslist. This was an amazingly stress-free process because owner, Kanish Ali and his skilled workers made it so! From the moment of phone contact, he was professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. He came right out to meet with me. I felt so confident in his expertise that I canceled all the other estimates I had scheduled. I just knew that this was the person who was going to look out for me and my best interests. I was not wrong! Kanish came and met with my insurance adjusters on THREE different dates. He spoke with them on the phone prior to meeting them in person and developed a rapport with them. Neither of us were satisfied with the first adjuster's assessment of my damage and so Kanish met with superior adjusters. There were three men from the insurance company who came that day and they commented to me that it was such a pleasure to do business with a roofing company representative who was so professional and level headed. I think that says a lot! AND Kanish helped me get an entire new roof, not simply a partial repair that they initially wanted to do! My roof was started early last Saturday morning and was finished by that evening! The men were friendly and polite and did a fantastic job on my roof! They cleaned up all of the refuse and nails on my deck and in my yard. The storm created some leak damage to my bedroom ceiling. Javier and Edgar came today and fixed those areas and re-painted my whole ceiling. The quality was great and they even were able to match the texture so you can not tell the areas had been repaired. Other than the quality, what really impressed me was how they placed plastic down, not only in the room where the painting was being done, but all the way down the hallway and to the front door. They covered the blades and parts of my ceiling fan with brown paper to protect it. They put plastic in the bedroom doorway to try to keep any dust out of the other rooms. They cleaned up thoroughly after the work was completed. My house is nothing to write home about, but they treated it like it was a HP mansion. I could not be happier with this company and highly recommend them!

After purchasing a new home, our homeowner's insurance provider notified us that we needed to replace missing roof shingles in order to have our home insurance reinstated. Enter in Aaron Nicholson of Legends Roofing. After meeting with me and giving me an estimate for repair, we worked out a great deal for the replacement and removal of some old satellite dishes from the previous owners. He quickly got the shingles repaired on a Monday morning and removed the satellites, making sure to fill in the holes and replace those shingles as well. Overall, I'd say the job took a couple of hours. Aaron even provided pictures of the roof repair and an letter of integrity for the homeowner's insurance company. He was pleasant and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to refer this business to anyone.

I called Legends after I had filed the claim with my insurance company and they had agreed the roof needed replacement. They used the insurance company estimate and we scheduled the work for the following week. They arrived as scheduled and in one day the roof was replaced. They provided a 30 year roof for a small extra charge and used roof vent guards that will last as long as the roof. The original roof and most of the roofs I see have rubber seals on the roof vents that start to leak after only a few years of the Texas sun. They cleaned up my yard after they completed the roof. I did not find any trash after they left. When they were done I paid them my deductible and they worked with the insurance company to get the rest of the money.

Spoke to someone in the office who said that someone would call me back. No one ever did.

Their measuring guy came out the very next day after purchasing the deal. After that there was absolutely no communication from the provider. There were no returned calls, and I left voicemails also. After a while their phone number that is on Angie's List is out of service. Someone called and set up an appointment to come out and they missed the appointment even after contacting me to come out! It's just too frustrating to try and deal with a contractor that does not come out and I will not deal with them anymore.

Great service. Not only did he explain exactly what the problems were but he explained how he was going to fix them. He said he was only about 70% sure on the second leak but said we probably wouldn't see it unless we got another storm with wind-blown rain. He said if it leaks again, call me and I'll come back out. He was polite, he was quick, and gave me the sense that he took pride in his work and doing things right.

Took one month to do the work and was an hour late when the job was started.

The installer came by and performed an estimate of the work which took about 10 minutes. About a week later they came out and completed the install. It looks great. They showed up on time, cleaned up after they were done and also took a look at the existing gutter system to make sure it was working ok. I am please with their work.

Aaron and his team did an awesome job. Called on Sunday and the work was quoted on Monday and completed Wednesday. They were the only company around that seemed interested in the job and appreciated the business. They were honest about the roof condition and repairs needed when others just wanted to do a full roof replacement on a roof in good condition. I will not only use them for future roof needs but will be recommending them to anyone in need of roofing services.

To sum it up in one word, Kanish and the guys at Legends are BRILLIANT! I was having a not-so-great experience with my original contractor (McBride Construction - stay away from them). I felt like I was being "handled" and just didn't have a good gut feeling about their intentions. So I searched Angie's list, found Kanish and the rest is satisfied homeowner history. From the moment I spoke with him, I felt completely at ease. Kanish was thorough, knowledgeable, candid, diligent, transparent, present and earnest. He didn't go in for the "hard sell," stayed even keel and educated me throughout the process. He helped me navigate the sticky situation I was in with my other contractor and equipped me with the right words to end my work with the other contractor (I'd signed an agreement that would put me on the hook for 15% of my claim if I didn't complete the work with McBride). Because of Kanish, I saved money and lots of stress. He was also very adept at talking to my insurance company, getting additional funds for the project and taking care of the business end of things. I'm someone who always has to take charge, so it was such a relief that I didn't have to micromanage this project or ride his back to do his job. He approached my project as if he was doing work on his own home -- in the world of people trying to do the very least, it was certainly refreshing. My job had several different moving parts and Kanish used his professional relationships and connections to coordinate every piece of the job. His crew was on time, clean, quick, thorough and very nice (they even shared their lunch with me while taking a break under my tree!) :) I love my new roof, my fencing refurb, gutter guards and insulation (he contracted out for this) Throughout the process, I learned to trust Kanish -- trust him to tell me the truth, to do his very best to make me happy, to deliver the very best quality for my project and to show up. His crew, Fabian, Javier, Tomas, Antonio and others, had a great attention to detail, made sure all the jobs were done to completion and didn't leave one thing undone or out of place. I have had peace of mind throughout my entire experience with Kanish/Legends. If you're looking for a stress-free experience, top-notch workmanship, attention to detail, quality and a real partner, please work with Kanish. Secretly, I find myself looking around at my remaining home projects, thinking of new ways that I can work with the folks at Legends.

We worked with Aaron and the rating for Legends is really A+++ . We have had a variety of providers over the years and have had great service in the past but Aaron took customer service to another level. Aaron took the time to make sure we understood the whole process. He was on sight when the insurance adjuster was inspecting the roof and was able to communicate with the adjuster in a way that we would never have been able to do. The job was completed quickly and the crew was professional and you would not know they had been there after their clean-up was over. Hands down the best customer service in years!

Kanish was very helpful. He guided me though the options that were available and explained the quality of materials and price differences for each of several options. This was particularly helpful as the budget for the remodel of the house had to be adhered to. He worked directly with my insurance company to make sure that I had every opportunity to receive the best settlement. He provided samples that he left with me so that I could take my time in choosing a color and make of shingle. The work was done in a morning. I was very impressed with the speed of the job. The outcome was perfect. The house looks beautiful, it cost me less out of pocket than I expected, and it is even cooler inside now that we have the ridge vent addition. I highly recommend Legends for it's professionalism, thorough explanations, and speed of service.

Kanish was the first to return my call. He came over the next day for an estimate. Because he was so professional and it was obvious he cared about what he was doing, we didn't pursue any further estimates. His crew was wonderful. They arrived promptly and were finished by early afternoon! They cleaned up everything afterwards. Kanish and his crew are highly professional and efficient which made it a positive experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a new roof!

called on 05/21/14 and within 1 hour received a call from Aaron who showed up in about an hour to view the problem and explain in detail what he was going to do--patch any missing shingles, remove Dish antennae, silicone the nail hole and all holes left by the antennae and a past Dish in another place, replaced and painted the flashing around the chimney and scheduled the work for 05/23/14 10:30 advising it would take 1 and 1/2 hours---Aaron showed up at 9:15 on 05/23/14 and got to work and ended 1 and 1/2 hours later and went over what he did and I wrote a check for $535.00 and it was done. It hasn't rained yet, but he assured me if it did leak he would be back to check it out--he can only fix what he see's---very polite, prompt and professional.

This company is great. It's been a week and we still haven't heard from the other companies. We're moving our allegiance to Legends Roofing. They were pleasant, prompt and fair. I highly recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Aaron for everything.

Kanish was great. I called him for a minor job - a roof leak. He noticed that my shingles under factory warranty had been deteriorating prematurely. Very long story short, over a year, he helped me every step of the way using his contacts to deal with the shingle manufacturer and the original installer. We got the original installer to install a new roof - all I had to do was pay a reasonable up-charge because I decided to upgrade to a better shingle and a radiant barrier with Kanish's help and advise. In the process Kanish's company installed a roof "cricket" for a very reasonable cost that corrected a problem with the original roof design. So Kanish ended up making very little money, but saved me thousands!! Always responded to my texts in a flash. I would definitely contact him again and recommend him to any friends. It is rare to find someone in the roofing business with his dedication.

This was (fortunately) my first time dealing with a roofing company, or any major homeowners issue, really. Kanish did a great job walking me through the homeowner's claim process. He was very responsive, both to me and to my claims adjuster. When the insurance approved a roof replacement, he worked with them to iron our some minor disparities between what the insurance company originally wanted to cover, and what really needed to be done to do a thorough job. The job itself went very smoothly - 95% of the work was done in one day, and they quickly finished up the rest of the job. When some (minor) damage occurred to my garage door as part of the job, they were very responsive about making sure it got repaired (on their dime). Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Legends Roofing.

I called Legend's Roofing and spoke with the owner, Kanish. He was very personable and sensitive to my concerns and reluctance to have work done on our home although I knew we really needed it. My fear was that it would be a nightmare and interfere with our happiness as an impending horrible experience was sure to happen! My husband doesn't have tolerance for poor work or service and has a standard of high quality. Kanish came to our home and won my husband and I over with his professionalism and assurances that we would be happy. He wanted us to be happy and knew he could deliver the finest finished product. Our insurance company determined that we were entitled to $17,000 in replacement cost to the roof due to previous storms damages. Kanish assured us he would work with the insurance company to ensure our claim was handled properly, completely and any additional damages found would be brought to their attention. He did all of this. We decided on a much more expensive metal roof to replace the current asphalt and shingle roof and were assured this would not be a problem for Legend's roofing. The replacement went as smooth as glass. There were no hiccups and the professionalism hard work and pride in the team came through in a beautiful roof! It is an amazing transformation of our home! We were so pleased with the work that Kanish and Legend's Roofing did that we asked them to have our home painted, under their supervision. It too, was an outstanding, perfect job! Because we are so happy Kanish and Legend's Roofing, we are now planning an internal remodel of this home. Kanish has the resources and experience to make things happen in a way we didn't think possible. Instead of being frightened at the prospects of entering into the remodel we are able to relax and enjoy the process in knowing that it is all going to be OK. We can't say enough about our positive experience with Kanish and Lengend's roofing.

Kanish and his team were able to begin roof repairs within 3 days and I had a new roof by Saturday afternoon and no money was required before materials were delivered and work was started. Attention to details and professionalism allowed Kanish to get insurance approval and paid repairs for all hail damages. The insurance initially provided estimate for repairs of 3 things; Roof, Gutters/Down Spouts and Combing out AC grating. In addition to these items Kanish was able to identify and get the following things repaired also; Window screens repaired, Fence power washing and re-staining, replace broken swimming pool valve and cleaning of pool, garage door replaced, and also 100 LF of gutters that were missed in the measurements by the insurance company adjuster. He also got the top to my "Big Green Egg" that was damaged by the hail to be replaced by the insurance. Integrity, honesty and attention to detail is what convinced me to go with Legends Roofing. They submitted a letter to HOA for approval of roofing color and provided me a copy of liability insurance for my records to keep with the claim. Kanish has even gone out of the way to do some minor repairs I needed done to the exterior at no extra cost to me as I will be selling my house soon and am unable to get up on the roof myself. He fixed my fence gates that were difficult to open, replaced and painted fireplace trim to match existing, and also replaced some bad window trim and matched the pant to my existing siding and trim. The crew was excellent and not only protected my property from overspray they also protected my neighbors vehicles. They covered everything so no paint or trash went where it didn't belong. Excellent workmanship, professionalism and quality products used will keep me recommending Kanish and Legends Roofing to all my neighbors, friends and co-workers. excellent I called early in the morning around 7 and 30 minutes later I received a call back. I called a total of three vendors and they beat the others by 3 hours. They came during my lunch break and finished the job in 20 minutes.
