Aaron Nicholson came over on Monday (perfectly on time!). He looked at the leak (which was in a very hard part of the Attic to get to). He went on the roof and saw a shingle a little off balance. He adjusted it and came down. We spoke about the issue and he was of the belief that the rains were so hard and coming at a >45% angle that the rain went through the shingles. He asked to watch it when there is another "hard" rain and if it is relatively straight down there should be no issue (and for that purpose even at an angle because shingle was adjusted? He charged ZERo!! (Nada, Nothing) for the call. I even offered to pay service call but he said no. He stated if the problem came back, we would reassess and figure out what to do. WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS. NOT BECAUSE IT COST ME $0 BUT BECAUSE THEY ARE HONEST. HUGH! IS THERE A THING LIKE THAT ANYMORE!!

We hired Legends to replace a tornado damaged roof. It turned out to be more than a simple re-roof. There was framing, soffit work, joist repair, gutter replacement, and painting as well. We looked at 5 roofing companies. Legends was not the cheapest, but Kanish communicated well and seemed to want to fix things the right way. Between the house and a large shed there was about 40 squares involved. The actual shingle work was pretty quick & took 7-8 hours to complete. We had guys working on our house about 4 days to repair all of the damage. A few items were also improved and brought up to current codes. Legends was able to get additional funding from our insurance to cover items the insurance adjuster missed. (To be fair to the adjuster some things are not visible until you tear into it). We changed our minds on a few things during the process and Legends was understanding and accommodated us. We got what we paid for and would use them again. If you are looking at roof work where the insurance company is involved I would recommend Legends. You are getting competent roofers + folks that know how to document and advocate your case.

Aaron Nicholson initially met with my wife to get the estimate and was consummate professional throughout the process. Of the three bids I received his was the most comprehensive while using higher quality materials. Although he had the most comprehensive estimate with the best materials, his bid was the least expensive. His crew were very professional, efficient, and clean. I only found one stray nail on my yard from a large 45 square roof. Aaron was great to work with and would highly recommend Legends roofing

Service went great. First went with a local competitor due to previous owner having been used. The tech for Horizon Roofing came out and did an estimate a day after first calling. I was pleased with the estimate and gave him the okay to do the work. For 10 days, Horizon Roofing didn't touch my roof. After leaving a disappointing phone call with Horizon Roofing, they had the decency to call me back and tell me they couldn't get to my roof for an "extended amount of time". I then told them I can't wait and I was going to find a competitor to do what they were supposed to do for me. I then started searching on Angieslist and called several roofers here in DFW. Some were busy, some didn't work in my area. But when I called Legends Roofing, they came to my rescue. I explained my unprofessional experience with Horizon Roofing and asked them to come to my house ASAP! Sure enough, they did. They arrived the next day after first contact and provided an estimate (which was higher than Horizon), but they said they can work on my roof the next day! Wow!!! I see where the professionals really are. I'm very pleased and resting at ease now that my roof is back together again and my family is going to stay dry. Thank you Legends Roofing!!!!

Last Fall they came out and did some maintenance on my roof. After a recent rainstorm I noticed a leak had re-appeared. After several calls and texts, they failed to show back up. During the prior visit they also recommended that my roof was in bad shape and needed at least 50% of it to be replaced. Since they never showed up, I called out another company. Lucky for me Legends never showed up because I was ready to fork over the money to fix the roof. The new roofing company told me I just needed some maintenance and they took care of it.

Contractor Aaron Nicholson was great to work with! We had several quotes before Legends Roofing and felt that Aaron was the most honest in not recommending more service than was needed to fix our problem of 2 ceiling leaks (1 major and 1 small). We decided to go with his recommendation to chalk the major ceiling leak and wait to see if just blowing the leaves off the valley helped with the smaller leak. Also, he called the same day that I inquired about a service, something that the other roofing company did not do. He also said I could text him which was helpful in being a busy professional. The services recommended were in line with another quote we had received but the service was different and more personable with Legends Roofing since not only was the price less but Aaron also offered to blow the leaves off the valley for us at no charge. While he was here renailing, caulking, and sealing the chimney flashing, he also reset a loose brick that was gaping on the side of the house that could have also been a cause of the major leak but just shows how he went above and beyond providing a service for our problem. We are very pleased with the responsiveness, professionalism, honesty, and great quality in fixing our problem for a reasonable price. It is no surprise now to us that this company is an Angie's List Super Service Award Winner. Exceptional company! I rarely put reviews in Angies List, however, Legends Roofing company deserves an honorable mention. My problem started 6 months ago with a roof leak. Several roofing companies said the flashing needed to be replaced. Ok, I chose a company, the flashing was replaced, water shield, new shingles, but I still had a leak. If a leak is located near the chimney and a roofing company is called, the roofing company will say they can fix it. The problem is it may actually be a chimney issue or a combination of both. My leak turned out to be a combination of both. My ins. sent out an adjuster and the adjuster said my roof had hail damage and recommended a new roof. Great! But, who do I choose? After researching Angies List I chose 5 roofing companies and received 5 bids. 1 of the bidders was 100% higher than all the other bids. Just because a roofing company is on Angies List with 100s of jobs, it doesn?t mean they are the best. McDonalds is located on every corner..it doesn?t mean the food is better. I decided to go with Legends and I am so happy I did! Form the moment I met the owner, Kanish Ali, I got peace of mind. Kanish Ali is true to his word. Kanish said, ?If I work on your roof, I own it! If your leak is not fixed and if you have any problems with your roof after the job is done, I will come back if necessary and fix it. You have my tel. #, I can always be reached, I will make sure my top guys work on your roof. I treat my customers like I would my family. I will do the job right, oversee the job, fix the leak and give you a solid roof?. After dealing with prior roofing companies that said they could fix the leak and never did, I was of course a little skeptical. Turns out Kanish is a man of his word, integrity, does a fantastic job in replacing a roof, and resolved the leak. The leak turned out be a problem with the chimney. I am so thankful to have met Legends Roofing. If anyone looking on Angies List for a reputable roofing company, that does quality work, stands behind their work, at a fair price, you will want to call Legends Roofing. Roofing companies in Texas come a dime a dozen and roofing is not a regulated industry. Don?t make the mistake and go with a roofing company that has a good sales pitch. I caution anyone in need of a roof replacement, repair, or leak, don?t call the other companies. Call Legends! You will be so glad you did. My roof looks great, the leak is gone, I have peace of mind and I now have a new friend, Legends Roofing! I?m happy to refer anyone to Legends.

The scope of my project changed and I no longer needed the services purchased. Legends Roofing provided a refund with no hassle. I would do business with Legend again.

The work was done well. The issue was I did not receive to what I paid for.

Aaron arrived right on time, was very polite and honest. He could have easily sold us a new roof, which is what we were expecting to hear. However he didn't take advantage of us like most companies would have, Aaron gave us an honest answer/assessment and fixed the leak. We will definitely use Legends when we do need that new roof. The process was very smooth. From the start they were very easy to work with especially regarding our need to not disrupt our business and inconvenience our customers. Work was done in a very professional manner and completed in a reasonable time frame. They kept the worksite clean and we never had a problem with trash or debris.

Overall we are very satisfied with the work Legends did for us. Aaron was available, responsive, and customer focused during the entire roof installation. The work crew was neat, organized, and overall did a great job with our roof. We have had problems with leaks for several years and the new roof has held up well through two major rainstorms. We did run into a couple of issues during the reinstallation of our rooftop deck, but Legends corrected the issues and was committed to ensuring we were happy with the final product. We highly recommend Legends roofing and are confident they will do a great job for you as well.

I called Legends Roofing to get a cost estimate for placing gutters on my home. Communication was extremely difficult. Here is why, Legends Roofing subcontracts their gutter services to outside contractors. So you call Legends who takes down some details and then sends it to the subcontractors. Now this is where it falls apart for me. I set a day and time with the subcontractors. I took a half day off of work as to be home for the estimate. Towards the end of the three hour window, I called Legends to see if I had been forgotten. After a few minutes I receive a call from the subcontractor that they are trying to finish a "BIGGER" job and would like to reschedule. However, I could not take off work another day. Legends Roofing sent Ricky, a representative to the house within 20 minutes to take a rough estimate that same day. Ricky was very professional, very helpful and did everything he could to make things right. I agreed to have him come the following day with the subcontractors to take precise measurements and I would receive the quote by Saturday. For the next two weeks I remained in contact with Ricky while we tried to track down the quote. However, I did not remain in contact with Ricky after two weeks and still no quote. So, since I do not know the subcontractors company to write a review I am writing this on Legends Roofing. Legends worked hard and promptly to try and resolve the issues but I feel like the problem is with the subcontractor. Since subcontractors work under the umbrella of another its appropriate to write one here. This could be an isolated incident and not a standard but it?s good to know the goods and the bads. The "B" for professionalism is for Ricky.

Once the office of Legends gave me the cell number for Aaron Nicholson, (the same day). Aaron met me for an estimate at my home within less than 1hour. He covered everything included from beginning to end in the process of roofing the house, including the electric magnets used by the workers after final clean up to find nails in the yards. Aaron gave us such a great price for the job that there was no need to get any other estimates. I've already referred a friend who owns real estate property to Aaron. Only good things to say about this experience.

Aaron was excellent and responded to my inquiry promptly and provided a reasonable estimate. Work was scheduled within 2 weeks showed up on time and completed in the work in 1 visit. I am very pleased with the work completed.

I messaged Legends thru Angie's list to see if they perform services in Austin. I received a response, and requested a quote for gutters at my house. I was advised that a representative would contact me to schedule time to receive a quote. I never received follow up. I contacted them again by email through Angie's list and they apologize for the delay due to recent weather but that they would get to me soon. That was in June, it's now August.

First of all the folks at Legend Roofing were responsive, professional and polite. Very professional Concerning the hardware, I am very pleased. The gutters match my exterior pint perfectly, they seem to be sturdy and durable and they worked flawlessly in the recent record setting rain storms!

It took a little while to locate an installer that is skilled at dealing with these stone coated Decra shingles. Not every installer is qualified to work on this type of roof. So the delay was understandable. The installer showed up on time, did a very thorough inspection and proposed a solution. Once we agreed on price the crew showed up the next day and completed the work in about three hours. Installer provided me with detailed pictures taken of the before and after.

Mr. Kanish and his office Secretary - Sherry were great to work with. Very personable and caring. I would highly recommend Legends to anybody. The job took 1 1/2 days The crews were great and they worked steady and stayed hard at it. All issues were addressed and taken care of a in making sure that I probably will not have to replace my roof again for a long time because of putting on the high impact shingles.

I had initially contacted my insurance company to give me an idea of what they would cover. After receiving a small check for $1300 and their survey explaining their calculations, I contacted Legends Roofing for their quote. Before Kanish provided me with the quote he reviewed the insurance company's survey and noted that there were several things that were missing from the survey. Kanish went to bat for me with my insurance company and the adjuster (who we both agree was in the wrong profession) when the survey did not include the removal of the shake ("There was shake under the composition?"), the need to install new decking throughout, and the installation of a drainage cricket around the fireplace stack to bring the house up to code ("Cricket"?). Kanish knew how to work the insurance company angle and managed to get me an additional $4000 from the insurance company. Out of pocket for me was about $7000 -- and that included a lot of additional items that I wanted done: radiant barrier on the decking and additional venting. My takeaways and recommendations for ANY roof replacement: Get your initial survey and payment from the insurance company. Within the year after the initial survey, have Legends Roofing review and see what the adjuster missed that should be included. Then you know you are getting the whole story about your roofing. BTW: I am now shopping for new homeowner's insurance.

The company responded very quickly to my initial call. Aaron their representative called me promptly and set up an appointment in the next few days. I had some serious concerns about the structural integrity of the roof in our newly purchased home. Aaron could have taken advantage of the situation but instead assured me that the roof was not only fine but fairly new and generally in excellent condition. He examined the roof thoroughly and found a few minor problems. I told him I needed a walkway in the attic covered with boards, some beams that were loose redone and to repair all of the areas he found problems with. He sent me a quote in a few days and set up a prompt appointment to do the work when I accepted his quote. He and a fellow worker showed up on the job promptly and finished all the work to my satisfaction in about two hours. Both Aaron and his fellow worker were clean cut, well groomed and very pleasant to deal with. I think the price for two hours of work was a little on the high side but based on my previous experience with contractors and roofers in particular it was worth a little extra bonus. These folks were very professional, very honest in their evaluation of our roof and very prompt and always showed up when they said they would. I would highly recommend Legends Roofing based on my experience with them. I have been dealing with Commercial and Residential roofers for over 40 years and they are without question in a much higher category than any other roofer I have ever dealt with.

This was an awesome job! Aaron who did the estimate and supervised the project was very professional and attentive to our needs. Raoul, and his crew, were punctual and did a great job. We are very satisfied and would highly recommend Legends Roofing to our friends.

He gave me some advice on what to check out before purchasing new windows. He was very honest and able to help me know how to fix the issue. He was looking out for my best interest.

Very pleased!!! Looked them up on Angie's list and called Legends Roofing based on what their reviews, gave them a call for a quote. Aaron Nicholson called me in less than an hour and was at the house within an hour and a half. He checked the roof and explained that the roof was leaking because of rotted wood on a dormer that was allowing water to run down between the wall and brick. He explained that the wood needed to be replaced, flashing checked for leaks, caulked and painted. I didn't want to deal with rotting wood in the future in this hard to get to place on a very steep roof so we agreed to replace the wood with concrete siding. There was major rain forecasted for the weekend but he was able to schedule the work for that Friday. Aaron and the carpenter showed up on time to do the work. Aaron stayed with the carpenter the whole time the carpentry work was being done. They showed me the rotted wood and the concrete siding being used to replace it and explained what they were doing and why. Once the siding was replaced and the carpenter left for another job, Aaron caulked and sealed the repair, checked the flashing for any leaks and painted the siding to match the rest of the house. I was very impressed that the person who gave me the quote was not just a salesman/front man but an experienced roofer who stayed on the job the whole time the work was being done. The rain came as predicted and it has rained a lot over the last month and there have been no leaks ... everything is nice and dry. I would highly recommend Aaron Nicholson and Legends Roofing to everyone!
