They were fine. The man was very courteous and professional. He sat down and explained what he could do and the cost. I got three estimates and went with a different company, there is nothing he could have done differently. He came when he was scheduled to. I didn't have any complaints.

Matt came by and took a look. He told me that it could probably be solved with a bit of sealing, which he offered to do it for free. Since then, no leak. he'll definitely be my first call for roofing in the future.

Easy process. First one to respond to my roof inspection. Did the job surprisingly quick. Only one day to remove old roof and placed a new one. Aaron was easy to talk to and walked me through the process. No pressure to push the job. Timing was on our convenience. Would highly recommend to others for any roofing problems.

We interviewed several roofing companies before choosing Legends. We were very leary of out of town contractors who were working in N Texas after the spring hail storms. It was very important to us to have a legitimate, dependable roofing contractor who was a member of the National Roofing Contractors Association (unfortunately Texas does not license roofers). Legends also provided copies of their liability insurance. Keith came out and gave us an estimated, talked about the process and the lead time. It took two days to replace the roof. The crew did a good job making sure all the nails were picked up. Two days later the gutter crew came out. It took them 1/2 day to replace the gutters. The next day Keith came out and reinspected the roof and the gutters. He also went through the yard with a magnet looking for any stray nails. We are very happy with the work Legends did.

The work was done promptly and professionally. The work crew was most efficient and everything went like clockwork. They cleaned up after themselves and left our property the same as they found it, except we had a new roof! This was the second time I've used Legends Roofing---the first was a much smaller job, but the result was the same, satisfaction. The service is personal and friendly, and all details are worked out and explained before the work begins. There are no surprised. None.

I initially contacted Legends on June 2, 2016. Following this initial call, I received a prompt call-back that same day from Nick and arranged for an appointment the following day (which ended up being delayed due to weather conditions, but Nick was very good at communicating with me regarding this delay). Upon his arrival, Nick quickly reviewed the situation and provided both short-term (patching) and long-term (replacement of a portion of the roof) options to potentially solve the issues with my roof. Ultimately it was decided to attempt the patching fix to attempt to solve the issues. Nick and I also discussed additional non-roofing work that I would need performed on my home at some future point. Regrettably, the patching did not solve the issue, and on August 10 I phoned Nick to schedule a second visit to determine the next course of action for addressing the problem. After exchanging several texts with Nick over the course of the next few days, however, I did not receive any further communications from him. Therefore, on September 26, after final attempts at leaving Nick a text/voice mail message were unsuccessful, I called Legends’ main number to advise them of the situation. During the September 26 call, I was told that someone from Legends would reach out to me as soon as possible regarding my situation. Later that same morning I received a phone call from the owner of Legends, Kanish, who spoke with me about the situation and advised that he would arrange to have someone on his team contact me as soon as possible in order to schedule a visit to review the situation at my home. I followed up on September 30 with an email to Kanish at his legendsroofing.com address thanking him for his personal attention to the matter and again providing my full contact information. As of the posting of this review on December 3, I have received no additional callbacks or other communications from any representatives at Legends regarding my situation. While the initial lack of response from Nick was, in my opinion, understandable and excusable due to (I learned later) circumstances beyond his control, the second lack of response from Legends, particularly following a direct conversation with the owner in which he was advised of the situation and indicated a willingness to work towards a possible resolution, is unexplainable. Whereas I had been prepared to utilize Legends for a potentially significant repair/remodel job, based on this sequence of events I am now forced to look elsewhere for a company to handle these issues.

They never called. Will not deal with them ever.

Legends, especially vanish Ali are the absolute best. We have a metal roof, and after the huge hail storm in Plano, I was not even sure our roof was damaged. Kanish came and looked and determined we had damage and we should file a claim. Three other roofers looked at it and I got all kinds of opinions. After our claim was filed, the insurance company sent an adjuster to look at it and Kanish was there. That's not so extraordinary, but we had THREE adjusters look at it and ultimately they made 5 visits to see the roof. Each time, Kanish was there and was on the roof with them. When we got the insurance company estimate, Kanish met with them twice, as they had underbid the job and had specified inferior steel. Kanish ultimately got the right materials and had the job done the right way. Our gutters were site-built from the same steel the roof used. The whole job looks fabulous. In these times, when we all get duped and over-promised and under preformed, it's refreshing to meet someone who does what they say they will do and does a good job. Danish is one of those people-honest, caring and very good at what he does. I'd recommend Kanish and Legends Roofing to anyone who wants a quality roof.

The crew showed up on time and got right to work. They were pleasant and happy to answer my questions. After I left for the day, the owner Kanish arrived. The crew worked until dusk and did the whole job in 1 day. They did a very good job cleaning up. Kanish came the next day to do a final walk-thru of the work. During the job Kanish called me about a couple of non-shingle issues about my house that he wanted to make sure I was aware of. He went to Home Depot to get what he needed to take care of one of the problems (a dryer vent issue, much easier to address before the roof vent is installed). I communicated with him several times throughout the day by texting. In my opinion, Kanish takes customer satisfaction very seriously and will do whatever it takes to do the job right.

It went very well. There was some delay on the part of the insurance company but all of my dealings with Aaron @ Legends was smooth and easy. He answered all of my questions, explained and helped me through the claim process and stayed in touch with me through the whole experience. He was also very quick to respond when I called him. I was particularly concerned with an area on the roof and he paid special attention to making sure that area was repaired with no leaks. It's been a couple of months now and everything seems to be just fine.

Brad came out and inspected the roof, and said we need a full replacement and he would walk the insurance adjuster through all the damages. The day before the insurance inspection Brad called to let me know he couldn't come due to an emergency. I understand we all have emergencies, but it doesn't seem unreasonable to expect one of his peers to come in his place as there was adequate time. I then reached out to Brad a few days later, letting him know there was no damage found to the roof, and that I would still like a quote on the gutters. At this time, Brad was very apologetic, and said they would do whatever it took to get our business, and make things right with the gutters. Brad asked me to email him our insurance documents, with the measurements of the roof. I sent him over everything and a few weeks went by with no response. I then followed up with Kanish regarding our experience with Legends, and the lack of response. Kanish threw Brad under the bus and said it wasn't really working with him, which I found highly unprofessional for an owner to tell a customer that his employee wasn't working out. Kanish then said he'd have one of his seasoned guys come out to double check the roof, and he would also have his gutter guy come out. The gentleman came that afternoon, looked at the roof and found no damage. He said the gutter guy would be out in the next few days, and they would email me a quote. I texted all of my contact info to Kanish, per his request. I also sent him photos of additional siding work I was interested in a bid on. On 06/15/16 Kanish said they would have the quotes to me within 4 days, I never heard back from them. I would not recommend them based on their poor communication skills, and lack of professional courtesy towards employees. It seems this company is either poorly managed, or simply has too much business to handle new customers.

Kanish estimated that his crews would be able to begin 2-3 weeks after we met (due to the backlog of many homes damaged in the area, plus our roof was still watertight so waiting was not a problem). I checked in with him about 2 weeks later to see if we were on his calendar yet and he gave me a target date within a week and the crews began on the day promised. On the first day, a crew came out to power wash the entire fence and they completed the job that day. On the second day of work, a huge crew (12 to 15 guys) showed up to begin work on the roof, chimney and siding plus the fence crew returned to stain the fence. We were amazed at the number of workers on the roof, in the yard, on ladders, etc, and they were really working fast & hard. Also, the prep work before they started was excellent. For example, our pool was completely covered with a huge tarp so that no debris got into it at all! I really appreciated not having to clean up the pool after the job. While the work was being done, I had to leave for most of the day and when I returned around 4:00 p.m., it looked like they might actually finish all the work on the roof in one day! And this was not a small job. Our house is 1 1/2 stories with a large, very high, steep roof with multiple sections. Kanish stopped by and I asked him if he thought they would finish and he said they had 4 more hours of daylight left and it looked like they might finish. I was pretty surprised to hear that but with the large, efficient crew, I thought it might get done. While he was there, he personally went up in our attic to check the exhaust vents on the heaters and water heater. He worked with the guys on the roof to get them properly aligned. I had to leave again shortly after that and I returned at about 8:00 p.m. To my amazement, not only were they done with the roof, but they had completed the chimney repair and painting, the siding was painted, the fence was stained and the cleanup was just getting finished. I looked closely at the roof and it looked great, as did the chimney and siding. The pool deck area was spotless and there was nothing in the pool to clean up. The fence stain was very thoroughly and evenly applied. The entire yard was completely free of debris and to this day, I've only found 2 or 3 nails left behind. The only projects left to complete were the gutters, window screens and some additional trim work on the eaves that I had paid for separately to have done. Kanish promised to bring the screens by the next day - which he did - and he gave me the day and time that the gutters and eaves would be completed. Again, the crews for both projects showed up on the day promised and completed the jobs in one day. There was nearly 500 feet of gutters to replace and most of it is at the highest part of the roof but the guys handled it all efficiently and they did an excellent job. The cleanup was again perfect - nothing left behind. The work I had them do on the eaves required rotted sections to be cut out and replaced and painted. The end result looked great and matched perfectly to the rest of the original sections. So, as you can guess, we were extremely pleased with this entire project and with the time and attention given to us by Kanish. He essentially acted as our general contractor and brought in the best crews for the multiple jobs and handled it all smoothly. I was really impressed by the quality of work and the effort put in by all the crew members. I was equally impressed by the crews consistently showing up right on time on the day promised. I really can't think of one thing I would change about this experience and I highly recommend Legends Roofing to anyone with a multifaceted storm damage repair project.

Since our area (the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area) had three very damaging hail storms (one area northeast of our home had softball size hail which actually went through wooden roof decking) within a period of less than three weeks, roofers were quite busy. The roof was not leaking, so we waited for a little while before making arrangement to begin the job. Legends Roofing's Austin Hudson worked out the details in the contract and put us on their list. Austin stayed in touch as he had to book jobs before ours over and over while skipping around storms through a very wet Spring. The materials for our job were delivered a few days before the roofing crew could get to it, but that was to be expected with such a demand for roofing and uncooperative weather. Four men showed up early the first day they could roof the house and worked into the early evening hours that day. When not on the roof, the crew members picked up trash from the old roof and waste wrappers and trimmings from the new one. Austin was on the job a good portion of the first day and made sure the crew had what they needed, including something to drink on a hot day. For the second day only ridge shingles were left to be put on and this was done quickly as was a final clean up all around the house. After four days, I have found only one nail that was missed during cleanup.

Even though there was scattered hail damage, I was concerned that my roof would be declared only partly damaged, with the costs falling within my deductible. I gave Kanish the date and time, and he showed up exactly when the adjuster did. Kanish really helped! He went onto my roof and pointed out damaged shingles to the adjuster (that maybe the adjuster would have missed). As a result, the roof was declared totaled, and I received a full settlement from the adjuster. By the way, Kanish took the trouble to meet the adjuster even though that morning he was heading to the airport for a trip! He went straight from my house to the airport. This is not the first time he helped me out! In an earlier review 4 yrs ago I wrote how he identified a factory defect in my shingles and helped me get the installer to replace the shingles at no cost to me. Twice now, Kanish has really stepped up to the plate for me! I look forward to working with him again.

Although the person I spoke with was very nice and cordial, she was not able to schedule an appointment and said we'd get a call back from their sales department. When we failed to get a call back from their sales department, my wife called a second time. They didn't answer and had a mailbox that was full. Our area had recently experienced two hail storms, and almost everyone has hail damage. We assumed they were going to be busy, however, after two calls we decided to move on.

So impressed and thankful to have stumbled upon Legends Roofing on Angie's List last week. After calling a few different roofers and being told that my leaking roof would have to wait a week or two, I gave Legends Roofing a call in hopes they could get to me that day, as there was impending rainy weather heading our way again. They were able to work with my schedule and come in that evening - adding me on as a last minute appointment to ensure my roof was looked at. Not only did they do a thorough look in the attic and on the roof to see where the leakage was coming from, they offered to take me to the roof (which I gladly took them up on) to show me exactly what they were talking about - they gave great advice for a "current" fix, and what to consider for upcoming roofing needs, as our house is a "flipped" house and it looks as though some corners were probably cut. They sealed the roof to ensure no further leakage, and were very diligent in their work and follow up. I could not have been more happy having them come out to fix this looming issue - they made it an easy process. For ANY and all future roofing needs I will be calling them without a doubt - excellent service, prompt, kind and great customer service. HIGHLY recommend!

Very pleased with the experience. Kanish and TJ were very thorough and took all measurements themselves rather than just use the insurance adjustment. Were very helpful in helping me select the color and type of shingle. Work scheduled quickly. Material delivery on time and crew showed up on time. TJ spent the day on site. Crew worked quickly and efficiently and were totally finished including clean up. Gutters subbed out but promptly done. They were very helpful in steering me through the insurance process. We highly recommend Legends Roofing. We called on a Thursday for an estimate, and Kanish came to our house within an hour. He thoroughly explained the work that would be done and provided a fair estimate that was in line with another estimate we had already received. We have an addition on the back of our house that was leaking, and Kanish explained the best solution to prevent problems in the future, and also provided a warranty. We decided to move forward with his company due to his professionalism, knowledge, and the fact that he was located in our neighborhood. He had the materials delivered the same day as the estimate. The project was started the next morning and completed in one day. Kanish was on site and in contact with us several times throughout the day to make sure all was going as planned and on schedule. The crew was very polite and professional and cleaned up the yard before leaving. We would recommend Legends to anyone looking to replace their roof.
