Wonderfully! Aaron did a great job of keeping in touch with us from our initial contact. He was responsive, respectful and courteous without being overbearing. He explained every portion of the quote and helped us understand the importance of the material selection and installation. Because we were only repairing a portion of the roof, matching the material that was going to stay was extremely important. Aaron took extra care in researching the current roof to help us get the product that most closely matched and was the best quality. The owner of Legends Roofing came out to give his opinion and consult on the project before the material selection was made. We felt very confident in their assessment and truly appreciated their extra efforts and attention to detail. The roofing crew arrived earlier than expected and was very timely. They worked very hard for 1.5 days to get the roof completed. Aaron was on site 95% of the time to answer any questions and make sure the project was progressing appropriately. We had one area where the decking had rotted and the crew had to replace a portion of the decking. This was an unexpected repair but they managed to do it quickly and at a fair cost. The crew did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the project and removed all their trash and debris. They utilized a magnet around the house to ensure all the nails were picked up. Because we have children and neighborhood children in our yard all the time, we were thankful for this. Aaron followed up after the project was completed to make sure we were satisfied! Again, just demonstrating Legends commitment to customer satisfaction. We definitely recommend Legends Roofing and will be certain to utilize them for any future needs!

We lost some shingles in the recent storm, so I checked Angie's List and found Legends Roofing. I spoke to Kanish on the phone and we set up a time for a quote. We had scheduled the appointment for the next day with Aaron but then it rained again so Aaron and I rescheduled for the following morning. Aaron arrived right on time, went up on the roof to check the damage and then gave us a quote of $350 dollars. He also said he could make the necessary repairs then and there. He had to wait a little bit for the necessary tools to arrive but the job was done in short order. Meanwhile, I was still waiting on a return call from another company just to get a quote! Needless to say, Legends will most likely get any future roofing business we have, they are professional, punctual, and very reasonable with their pricing. Was very pleased with this company.

Overall very satisfied, I will use them again.

Kanish was very responsive from my initial phone call. He was patient and willing to answer all the questions I had, every step of the way. He was able to schedule a time to come out for an estimate very quickly and within my schedule. He brought two possible project managers (at least that's what I call them) with him so I could meet not only him, but whomever would ultimately guide the project. After their initial estimate, they accommodated their schedule to meet the insurance claims adjuster, and spent a lot of time not only working with the adjust, but addressing issues and concerns with me and the adjuster. From then on it was smooth sailing with quick scheduling, prompt responses to my calls and emails, and on-time appearances. The workers responded quickly to unexpected conditions on my roof (more layers than expected) and still finished in one day.

My roof was damaged from hail in the summer as were most houses in my neighborhood. Kanish and Legends provided a timely quote and worked with the insurance adjuster to get everything approved. The insurance company approved the work and issued a check for initial payment on the spot. I trusted him because of a prior roof repair which fixed a leak and where he did not try to sell minor hail damage as a full roof job, which would not have been approved by the insurance company, unlike another roofer who inspected my roof early in the year. The process went very smoothly and quickly. The roof replacement was done in one day. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work, and they quickly resolved any minor issues or questions I had. I am admittedly very picky. The work on my roof is of a better caliber than that done on many of the houses in the neighborhood, and it looks great. Kanish was always very responsive to my questions and kept appointments and time commitments. I would definitely use Legends again for any future roofing projects.

We took three bids and decided to take a fourth bid from Legends. We called on a Saturday and talked with the president of the company. He said he could have someone on Sunday for an estimate. Since this was out of pocket for us, price was very important, and Legends worked with us to get a very competitive price. We finalized discussions that Wednesday and the roof replacement occurred that Saturday. Generally the crew would have started at 8:00 AM, but at our tenants' request, this was moved out to 9:00. I arrived on site at 9:00 and the crew was ready to go. The job completed earlier than estimated, and we are completely satisfied with Legends. Would recommend and use again because of the professionalism of the president and of our sales person Aaron.

The crew of workmen tore off my old roof (two layers) and applied a new roof in about 6 hours. This involved also removing and rre-applying my solar water heater with no damage. All was done in a professional manner, with no slip-ups. All the old roofing was removed from my property. The amount charged was exactly the amount quoted.

The old roof was almost half removed, when it rained! The men scrambled and got it covered before it poured. Overall, we would rate the work as a good experience.

I called Legends Roofing Company and talked with Kanish Ali. He offered to come to my home to look at the roof and give an estimate. He arrived on time and went up on the roof to assess it and measure it. I explained to Mr. Ali that we have had 4 aluminum roofs put on our home over a timespan of 23 years. Each roof was replaced by our insurance company after extensive hail damage. There have always been leaks in several areas of the house that none of the roofing companies could successfully stop. Kanish was positive that he could solve our problem. He suggested that we consider putting on a Decra steel roof instead of the aluminum. The steel roof would stand up to hail much better than the aluminum roof. When I told him that we liked the energy savings that an aluminum roof provides, he suggested that we consider putting on a radiant barrier under the steel roof. We were interested in the steel roof and asked for pictures of a home that he had roofed with this product. He sent pictures of several houses and gave us the phone number and address of a home to see in person. We went to see the house and the roof was beautiful. I called the owner of the home and he gave a glowing referral for Kanish. He particularly raved about the outstanding crew that Kanish uses to install his steel roofs. After this experience, my husband and I were ready to commit to having him install a Decra roof with a radiant barrier beneath. Within a week, the roofing materials had been delivered and the crew began the job. My husband and I were gone on a previously planned trip during the first 3 days of the installation. Kanish gave us daily updates of how the work was going. He even took photos of different stages of the roofing process. He had a video as well. We were home for the final day. We were very impressed with the crew. The roof looked great. Kenneth, who is the man in charge of the installation, was able to find several holes in the roof that other roofers had missed. Kanish also determined that the leak around our chimney was caused by the brick absorbing rain water. He brushed a sealer product on the brick and came back 2 weeks later to put on another coat. He has offered to return in 6 months and put on one more coat of sealer. We experienced our first rain several days ago. It was light rain, but there were no leaks. We are very pleased with the job that Kanish did. He is very detail oriented, and that is exactly what we needed. He is committed to making sure that our leaking problems are solved. We believe him. The Angie's List grading scale only allows up to an A in each category. We would give Legends Roofing Company an A plus. Thanks for everything, Kanish!

We called Legends to repair our roof following the Lakewood hailstorm this June. We worked with Aaron, and he was a pleasure to do business with. When he saw our large insurance claim, he suggested that Legends serve as the general contractor for the entire project, even though there were a few jobs (windows, drywall repair and painting) outside of their normal area of expertise. He explained the process and we agreed to hire Legends for the entire job. Let me start by saying that it was very obvious what the company was good at. The roof and gutters were replaced within a week of our initial call. The jobs were done quickly and done well. If we ever need our roof replaced again, we will definitely call Legends. There were two small details (a smashed heater vent cap that wasn't initally replaced) and an area that wasn't completely sealed up around a vent) that got overlooked, but as soon as we brought them up with Aaron, he was able to address the problems to our satisfaction. Overall, we were happy with the work done on our roof and gutters. The other jobs were more hit-or-miss. We had 6 damaged windows replaced. Legends' subcontractor for windows seemed like a great guy, but he just couldn't get things right. The windows were the incorrect size more than once, he forgot supplies at home (over an hour away), ran out of caulk... everything just seemed to go wrong. It took over 2 months of work to finally get our windows replaced - this guy came over on 4 or 5 different weekends in order to complete this relatively small job. It was a huge ordeal and while we were glad that it finally got finished, we would never use him for windows again. We had similar problems when it came to Legends' hired painters. The work just sub-par overall. The ceiling repair due to a roof leak had to be done twice because the first time was unacceptable. And the painting itself was just mediocre. We called them back several times to fix things that were painted poorly, and in the end we still had to go over much of their work ourselves once they were done, in order to make sure our rooms were painted to our standards. In conclusion: We liked Legends. They were good to work with and in the end the job got done. We would use them again for roofing. However, we had so many problems with their subcontractors that we wouldn't hire Legends again as a general contractor.

They got the job done in less than a day for a reasonable price and I was happy with the new drip edge. I had the new gutters installed shortly after that and it looks great.

I first contacted Legends a month or so after last spring's hail storm and was very pleased at their quickness in response and estimate of scope of work. Since my roof wasn't leaking at the time and there were so many others in the neighborhood with immediate needs, I waited until this month to have the work done. Austin Hudson is who I primarily dealt with and he was professional and willing to work with a haphazard schedule that I had to keep due to some unforeseen circumstances. The roofs were done mostly in one day, with a few more hours needed on day two for total finish and cleanup. Next came the gutterwork. Then the deck and fencing. I'd highly recommend Legends to anyone needing a new roof!

I initially chose Legends because they were a local (Lakewood) roofer. Now, I owuld chose them anywhere I lived. They were punctual, friendlym and responded quickly to all our needs. We would highly recommend them to any of Angie's List members.

They were great all around! Very responsive, priced very reasonable, told you everything up front so there were no hidden surprises, and if I were still going to live there I would definitely use them again!

Excellent Service - Great staff

Legends Roofing was the 3rd of 4th company I called after calling some of the other top performing roofing contractors on Angieslist. I was becoming discouraged since I was turned down by three other contractors. They were only doing hail storm roof replacements and not interested in repairing my roof. I should have called Legends Roofing first! I had to replace the electric service to my house, which involved removing an old pole (weather head) that extended through my roof, and installing a new pole in a new location. As a result, I was going to be left with (1) a hole in my roof, and (2) flashing around the new pole that needed to be properly sealed. With one simple phone call Legends roofing was able to accommodate my schedule. The electrician was finishing up around 4:00 in the afternoon, and Legends shows up at 3:50, right in time! They not only repaired the decking and flashing around my new electric service, but they also inspected the roof and made a few minor repairs to flashing and minor hail damage. This is definitely a page of happiness company. They were responsive, easy to work with, reasonably priced, and I was very pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail. From my conversations with Kanish over the phone to my interactions with Aaron this morning, I found Legends Roofing to be a delight to work with. They listened attentively to my issue, made a suggestion of how to solve it, and then did the work at a very reasonable price. I will definitely call them when it's time to replace my roof. I was thrilled with Legends from the first call. Aaron was able to come by on a Saturday so that I wouldnt have to miss work. I hadnt received the paper work from my insurance company yet so he just did some measuring and told me to call once I had it. Once I received it he came back (again on a Saturday) and went through the paperwork with me line by line. I couldnt get anyone from the insurance company to do this with me, so I was thrilled. He knew the deductable was going to be a bit of a challenge and was willing to work with me on that. Once everything was agreed upon, they were there working on the roof the following Weds. The guys that worked on the roof were great, very pleasant and worked throughout a very hot day. Aaron came by a couple of times to make sure things wer progressing. I also needed some work done on my siding and a couple of windows and they were able to help me with that, providing more than we had originally discussed, but didnt increase the budget. Simply put... I was extrememly happy with the whole experience. I couldnt have asked for a better group of people to work with.

We had hail damage from the storm that hit Lakewood in June. Legends helped us through the insurance process. They were there to talk to the insurance adjuster, did exactly the work specified, and we paid what the insurance company sent us.The work began and ended on schedule. There was always a good quick response to any question and everything we needed done was taken care of. We have worked with many contractors over the years and, our experience with Legends was excellent.

I found Legends Roofing on Angie's List - they did not solicit me like so many roofing companies after the hail storm. I called them late in the afternoon and they were able to come out to inspect my roof and give me an estimate the next day. They were also very accommodating in being present when my insurance inspectors arrived early on a Monday morning. They worked with me on the price to minimized the amount I would have to pay out of pocket of my deductible. Throughout the process, they were excellent in communicating with me via email, text, and phone - they always let me know when they would be stopping by or when the workers would be arriving. Matt W. was especially a pleasure to work with - prompt, professional, knowledgeable and accommodating! The roofing work was done in one day and looks to be done well. Their cleanup was near perfect - I found a few nails on my back patio and a little tar on my deck, but considering that they tore off and replaced my whole roof, I consider this an excellent cleanup job! I had them replace my gutters too, but this work was subcontracted out to another company - it took another week and a half for the gutters to be complete due to the increased work demand related to the hail storm -- I didn't mind, the gutters look great and I got a gutter on the front of my house that I never had before! I paid Legends for the roof work immediately upon completion, and then paid them my deductible when the gutters were complete. Now it just needs to rain so that the roof and gutters will be tested! Overall, I was very pleased with the work Legends Roofing performed for me -- I would use them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
