Great customer service and my wood floor looks amazing!

Jaime is one of the most accommodating people I've ever met. He's very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm only sorry I have no more floor covering to ask him to replace. Maybe I'll have to sell this house and buy another one, so I can get him to do more work for me. I cannot imagine anyone whose flooring installed or replaced to NOT be as happy as I am with his work!

Jaime and his team did a great job. I had existing hardwood floors throughout most of the house, but carpet in two bedrooms. Jaime was able to remove the carpet, install new hardwood, and stain to match. He was responsive to my questions and wanted to make sure it was done right.

Jaime and his crew did an excellent job! They were tasked with re-doing a bad hardwood floor install by my previous contractor. The handscrape floors are absolutely beautiful and the stain is exactly the color I wanted. He gave me a very fair price and completed the job in record time. The timeframe from start to finish was 3 days. YES... 3 days! He did the job fast and was extremely professional. Jaime only does floors and he is an EXPERT at his craft. Hire him for your hardwood floor installation or staining, and you will be happy that you did!

Jaime was great to work with from start to finish. He arrived on time to the quote appt and answered all my questions. I made my decision on a Sunday night, materials were delivered the following Friday, Jaime’s crew arrived the next day at 8:15am, and they were done by around 4pm. The furniture was moved out of the way and the old carpet/padding was efficiently removed. The crew cleaned up all their work areas. Jaime was onsite for the majority of the work and made sure any issues were resolved and gave me advice on floor care.

Perfect! Jaime contacted me immediately after my request was placed in Angie's List, and came by the next day. He made the recommendation of another builder that was closer in the area to rip out the carpet and reconstruct the stairs- who was also excellent- and coordinated with him to come back and sand and finish the stairs. He matched the existing oak flooring in the house. There was also a small spot on our hardwood flooring where the stain had been worn off. His guy matched the stain perfectly and patched that area without us having to redo all of the other flooring. They showed up on time and was courteous and clean. I would highly recommend them and use them for all my flooring needs!

Jaime and his crew did an excellent job. They came promptly and were neat and courteous. We had 2 damaged areas. In one area, the floor had bowed which meant that boards had to be trimmed in order to lay flat. The craftsmanship was excellent so that you can not tell which boards were trimmed or replaced. We are very pleased with the results.

Absolutely amazing job! (1) RESPONSIVENESS: Everytime I called Jaime he either answered his phone or called me back within 5 minutes. (2) RESPECTFULL: Team always on time. Kept work space very clean and ensured minimal dispruption to the rest of the house. (3) QUALITY: Absolute top notch. Had to match with exising flooring that we didn't want to refinish. Jaimie C Flooring was amazing. From the initial estimate meeting to the end of job Jaimie and his crew paid attention to every little detail and answered all of our questions throughout the process. We had to match new floors to the existing stain and finish of the existing hardwoods and they were able to blend stains to make an almost perfect match. They took care to protect other parts of the house while working and did a great final cleanup at end of job. Wish they did more than floors.

Jaime C was very responsive and his team was professional. We had an issue where we had picked “select” white oak but the boards we got were mostly “shorts”. We didn’t find out until after they had been installed. Jaime C and crew agreed to remove and replace some of the shorts with longer boards and the supplier provided the replacement boards. Jaime C and I split the additional labor cost to remove and replace. Overall the price was fair and the work was well done - we didn’t know you could get a bunch of short boards so it was an expensive lesson learned but problem was solved and we really enjoy our new floors.

Jaime was great from the first contact. He responded quickly and came over to the house the next day to evaluate our situation and bid on the repair. He made himself available to talk to our insurance adjuster on site – on a Sunday morning, no less – and he facilitated our getting coverage with his presence. Unfortunately, we had to redo the entire first floor rather than doing a localized repair. Jamie carefully and convincingly explained to us that with hardwoods, you have to redo the whole thing, since trying to blend in a partial fix is next to impossible and results in the job having to be redone. After we understood that, we were in for the entire fix. He and his crew arrived on time on the scheduled date and got the job done within the estimated timeframe. The quality of his work was excellent, and he was very responsive at all times both during and after the job was done. That not only did a great job, but they cleaned up afterward beautifully, with little to no dust. We were very pleased with his price. We have dealt with many contractors throughout the process of getting our house ready for market, and about 50% of them have been substandard and unreliable. Jaime's work and work ethic are superior. He knows how to build a positive relationship with his customers, and it's obvious that he wants them to seek him out in the future for work. Jamie C Flooring recently installed solid white oak cross scraped floors in 4 bedrooms in our home. We had hand scraped white oak in all of our living areas already and wanted to make the flooring continuous. Luckily, I had a can of the old stain, so we knew which color to use. The crew was fast and effective at installation. These floors are not prefab. They are real solid wood hand scraped, stained, and sealed on site. The process was really something to watch. The end product matched very well with our existing floors and even looked a little bit better, not just because they were newer but because I preferred their scraping and staining techniques. It really brought out variations in the wood for a more dramatic finish. It does not look like an engineered or manufactured floor with over consistency. Bottom line: My wife and I are thrilled with the floors and we would call on Jamie and his team again. A few things to keep in mind: They will leave the wood unfinished on the floor for several days until the moisture level adapts to the house. This is a good thing and you don’t want to rush this but keep in mind, you will be out of the bedroom/rooms for a while. You can still live on the floors until they resume work but you probably don’t want to be moving all of your furniture back and forth. Their price is competitive, but they use 2 coats of Polly. There is nothing wrong with this, but some companies use 2 and some 3. It can account for the higher price of some. They will use an oil poly if you really want them to but consider what you are asking for and what may match your existing floors. The modern light industrial water-based poly is stronger than ever, is low voc, dries quickly, and is water cleanup. The oil-based poly over a lot of surface will smell very strong and can “warm” or yellow with age. They give you the option to move the furniture in and out of rooms yourself or have them do it. This can save you a little money on your bill. I had them move it out but preferred to move it back myself because although it is not necessarily standard practice to wait a day before moving furniture back after the final seal coat, I preferred to wait a good 36 hours before doing so.

Jaime was prompt in replying to my outreach (within 24hours) for an assessment and possible estimate to install hardwood flooring in my loft bedroom. Jaime was very direct about the situation that I was facing since the large subfloor panels straddled large beams that were spaced far apart, making a hardwood floor project undoable. I appreciate Jaime's honest assessment.

Jaime and his team were responsive, effective, and worked with us to accomplish the work in a timely manner. They did a great job of matching the stain to our current wood floor stain as well.

Jamie is very prompt and professional. He arrived on time for the initial appointment and provided a quote later on the same day. The job took 2 days (1 day to demo and prep, 1 day to install). The crew consisted of 5 people who worked in an extremely efficient manner. They moved the furniture back to its original location. Most importantly the floors look amazing. I highly recommend Jamie and his team for your hardwood floors. If you want a pro job, done by pros at a fair price, Jamie is The Man!

Amazing. I want to say that Jaime and his crew are professional and work to complete the job on time. I've never seen hand-scraping done and to watch Jaime's workers on their hands and knees tirelessly hand scraping every inch of floor was truly impressive to witness. If anyone is looking to redo their floors, I would 1000% recommend Jaime C Flooring.
