We are extremely pleased with our refinished floors. My only question for those of you reading this is why would you consider using anybody else? Here was our situation: We just purchased a house in the Las Colinas area that had a traditional, narrow slat, red oak, hardwood floor. It was alright, but it did not do much to enhance the appearance of our Mediterranean style home. In fact, it really made our house look plain and outdated. We had seen hand-scraped wood floors in many of the homes we looked at and really liked the look. We found Jaime C Flooring on Angie?s List and decided to take a chance, based on the numerous positive reviews of this firm, and have the floors refinished before we moved in. We are very glad to have found Jaime. We had a narrow time frame to get the job done and Jaime and his crew exceeded our expectations with regards to completing the job when we to have it done, the outstanding quality of the finished hand-scrape appearance, the project cost and the follow-up to ensure that we were 100% satisfied with the workmanship. I rarely have encountered a contractor as conscientious as Jaime and his crew. Here are just a few things to be aware of if you decide to go with a hand-scrape hardwood floor: (1) Take a leap of faith and trust the recommendations made by Jaime and Fernando. They have been doing this work for years and know more about flooring than you. (2) Again, have faith that the floor is going to look exceptional when they are done ? the sanded, hand-scrape wood doesn't really look that impressive UNTIL THE FINISH IS APPLIED and then be prepared for a major WOW! experience. (3) There will be dust involved in this project; it is the nature of sanding floors. But know this, our crew did an exceptional job to minimize the dust and our final clean up wasn?t all that bad. My final suggestion - if you are thinking of selling your house in the near future, consider having the hardwood floors installed/refinished to a hand-scrape look. A hand-scraped floor seems to be a real home selling point these days and you will more than likely get a four-fold return on your investment which can equate to a higher selling price as well as impressing more potential buyers. And Jaime C Flooring is an exceptional company to do your work!

Service was very personal and professional. Estimate was very reasonable and no hidden costs arose during demolition and installation. Jamie provided the wood floor I was looking for while going out of his way to find a supplier of Canadian maple. Jamie was always accessible. The work crew was always prompt and friendly. Work was done on a craftsmanship level and work areas were cleaned up well and old materials removed. The floor came out top notch!

Jaime is amazing. Came to our home several times and was very patient. I chose him out of 3 other people because of his knowledge. He did a wonderful job. Took about 6 days start to finish. It is a messy procedure and there is tons of dust but they clean up every day before they leave. He has a wonderful, hardworking crew. Highly recommend him!

Jamie worked with us to find the exact hardwood we wanted, which was not part of his standard collection. He was fantastic to work with and got the work completed quickly. The quality was top notch.

We first contacted Jaime on September 4, 2013 about replacing carpet in our Master Bedroom and Closet with wood flooring. This was part of a major remodeling effort that included the Master Bath. He was willing to help in recommending other contractors as well as discussing our wood floor plans. The Master Bath remodel was substantially done the first week of November and we asked Jaime to install the wood floors. From November 5-8, he brought it two crews who worked around the guys finishing the Master Bath flooring and did a very quick installation. There were some quality issues with the baseboard molding but nothing major. There were a couple of minor problems that took a while to resolve due to a communication error. In the end, he and his team tried to make sure all the work was done to our satisfaction and it was.

We recently had our floors refinished and stained by Jamie. His team also did some hand scraping of the floors. It is all looks wonderful. His team worked extremely fast and efficient and did amazing work on the banisters and stairs as well. In fact, the job was so well done that we decided to hire them again to pull up the tile in our house and have the same flooring everywhere. We could not have been more happy with Jamie and his team and would recommend him to anyone thinking of refinishing their floors. Note also that his team made sure that any dust, etc. was cleaned up after the job was finished.

We trusted Jaime C with our home as we left town and went on vacation. His rating and reviews were exactly on target and we were not disappointed. He is trustworthy beyond compare. His pricing was very competitive with other bids we received. His recommendations were sound and the job was completed during the week that he promised. The floors are absolutely outstanding and everything matches to a T. We had existing hardwood and he matched it perfectly. Equally as important...they replaced each piece of furniture in the exact location it resided, reconnected all electronics (TV's, Internet, etc) and cleaned up after they completed each project. There was virtually no dust in other parts of the house, yet we know they sanded. Nothing was broken and nothing was disturbed. It is more than rare to find a Master Craftsman who is a man of his word...but you get the whole thing with Jaime and will not be disappointed. You will not find anyone better to do your flooring than Jaime. To his credit, both he and his crew had to travel from the opposite side of Dallas to our home to complete this job...there were no failures, no excuses, no problems. We wish he was in other businesses because of his character, trustworthiness and skills.

They installed very quickly and we were able to approve the stain colors. The color ended up exactly what we thought it would , and everyone who comes by says they love it. We had solid wood floors with 2.25" white oak planks put in, lightly scraped. The crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves. When one of our doors would not shut (the builder was supposed to cut all the doors to fit the install of hardwood floors for us, and they missed one), Jaime sent a team member back out of fix it for us.

Jaime came to the house to see how big the job is and gave me an estimate. Among the 3 flooring company that gave an estimate , he has the most reasonable. He brought me material samples and after that we agreed on the date he should start. The job was completed earlier than the promised date. Jaime is very knowledgeable in his field of work. I highly recommend him.

They were thorough and the floors look really great.

Jamie worked hard to ensure we were making the right decision. He came out to our house multiple times to show us samples and visit with us. Jamie's crew worked hard, were friendly, cleaned up the work areas daily, and did an incredible job. We are very pleased with our hand scraped wood floors. Our house looks brand new. Would highly recommend leaving during the installation if you have ceramic tile to remove.Would highly recommend Jamie to all interested in wood floors.

Jaime was very knowledgeable about the flooring and kept us informed as to what was going on with the floors/picking color and all those little details. I emailed Jaime on a Saturday morning, and he called me back about 2 hours later. I was impressed. He came the same day to look at my floors. I had been trying to match the existing manufactured wood floors for several years. He thought he might be able to match them, but no floor interlocked the same way. I had been dreading the messy process of having the old floors removed, but Jaime and his crew started the job on a Monday, and they finished by Saturday. They moved the furniture back and we were back in our home by Saturday afternoon. It was I amazing, and now I have gorgeous real hardwoods. My husband and I are really pleased! I would highly recommend him.

I e-mailed Jaime on Wednesday, January 31 to inquire about the purchase and installation of laminate flooring for my home. He called me the next day and scheduled an appointment for that Saturday. He was very prompt and friendly. He brought samples of both laminate and engineered hardwood for me to look at, and I was pleased with the quality of his products. I received his quote in a timely manner. The only reason I did not use him is because I received another bid shortly after with a flooring I liked a little better than his that was pretty much the same price as his quote. I would definitely recommend calling him for an opportunity to give you a quote for your new hardwood flooring.

They were prompt in scheduling, came up with a workable solution that met my budget and did a great job overall. will definitely use him when I get ready to restore my hardwood flooring in the future.

I actually had contacted Jaime last year for a quote for replacing our hardwood floors downstairs and then asked for a quote for carpet upstairs as well. He was just as gracious and helpful as he was a year ago. He never had rushed us (obviously if it took me a year) and I couldn't be happier with my upstairs. We plan to have Jaime return in the next month to replace all of the hardwood floors downstairs. I am so pleased with his quick response and professionalism that I can't wait for him to start the hardwood!

Jaime and his team did a fantastic job for my daughter 's master bedroom. He came out quickly to give her an estimate and was able to schedule the job at her convenience. Jaime and his crew did an wonderful job installing hardwood floors in the master bedroom. The finished work was beautiful! Jaime and his crew were punctual, professional, and overall, great to work with. I will use them again in future projects.

Jaime and his crew did a fantastic job! They matched my new flooring to the existing wood floors in the hallway and living room. You cannot tell where the new floors begin and the old one ends. After removing the carpet, they installed the new wood and sanded without leaving a mess. The stain was a perfect match to the abutting floor. They even painted the quarter round to match my baseboards, installed it and caulked where needed. I did not need to call a trim carpenter or painter to complete the project. All this was done in record time by the hard-working crew. Jaime was on site most of the time supervising and keeping me informed at every stage. I have had hardwood installed in the past, but have never had a project go without a hitch as this one has. One more thing, his price was $600 less than my first quote from a different contractor. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and I will definitely be using them again in the near future.

Gave us a free estimate, told us what he was going to do. On the day of service, showed up on time, got the job done quickly and efficiently, matched the stain and sealed the wood. Now you can't even see where the floor was repaired. I would recommend Jaime's services to anyone who needs woodwork done!
