AC Lady

The AC Lady and every single tech I have ever dealt with are professional, knowledgeable, and get the job done. In my case the problem was not straight-forward and the first solution was not the fix. Ended up we needed a new system, but Peggy credited the previous repair cost to the system since it didn't fix the problem. That level of integrity is hard to find. So nice to have a working AC again!

AC Lady recently replaced two complete ac units and also replaced all the ducting in the house. Before deciding on specific units, we had a very helpful consultation with AC Lady who happily answered all our questions and explained the pro's and con's of each system. The quality of the work was excellent, and the jobsite was left spotless. Peggy, Zach and the rest of the crew completed the work in 2 days, and we are 100% satisfied with their work.

I contacted 3 different companies for quotes. AC Lady was the only one that sat down and drew a diagram of what my current system looked like and what the new one would look like. She discussed with me different manufacturers, seer sizes, and what the expectations would be. She provided a detailed quote. I also requested the replacement of my duct work since it was beginning to break down. We decided on a price and this was the quote I went with. Less than a week later, they were at my home promptly at 7 am. They replaced the duct work, then proceeded to replace the heating/air conditioning units. The whole project took one day. They were cleaning up by 5:30 pm. Peggy was on-site with her crew for the majority of the time. She even offered to bring me lunch when she was feeding her crew. She has been available via text or phone call if I have any questions regarding the new system. I was really pleased with the work, professionalism, and quality of work. I look forward to her crew and company maintaining my system for years to come.

My air conditioning stopped working at 7pm. I read so many wonderful things about AC Lady on Nextdoor, I decided to give them a try. I called in the morning and they arrived same day. The tech seemed to know what was wrong before looking and was able to get me up and running. She will be the only one that I call the next time I need help or preventative maintenance.

AC Lady was recommended to us by several friends. Peggy answered the call even though it was the 4th of July, and was very responsive. Since we were away from home at the time, she scheduled Benjamin to come out the next day. Benjamin called ahead of time to confirm the visit, and again when he arrived so that we could let him in. He efficiently diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot. He then inspected and reported the condition of the system, including the option of topping off the refrigerant which about 1# low. We had him add refrigerant, and he was careful to close up the house on his way out. He didn't attempt to sell us additional items that were not needed, and gave a very honest and accurate assessment of the system. We will definitely call AC Lady the next time we have any type of HVAC issue.

Peggy actually came out Sunday night July 20. In an attempt to save me money she repaired a burnt wire and replaced the capacitor. $140.00 instead of $2000.00 for a new unit. On Saturday July 26 the compressor ended up going out hence the need to replace the outside unit. I was very impressed that she did all she could to save me money rather than just taking the easy way out. I will never use any AC / heating contractor other than the AC Lady!

When I called their office they were very responsive. Later, Zach showed up and diagnosed the problem and didn't diddle around. Also appreciate the fact that he didn't try to up charge me on something I didn't need like most AC companies do.

Very timely in returening my call & submitting a bid. Peggy was very curtious and informied us about eqipment available and costs.Bid was very competetive & reasonable. Set up time for install. Workers arrived at time scheduled & did a very proffesional job in a timely manner. We are very saatisfied with the product an the work done and would deffinitely recomend The AC Lady for any AC or Heating work. Would us them again!

I found her on Angie's List. I like the service that she gives. She checked our heater for us and we got a new one. she has been really good. I have had her out here several times. She has really helped us out.

A/C went out in afternoon of 100 degree temps. Had company with small children and called AC lady. Peggy called back shortly and came that evening.Checked out problem and was fixed in a few minutes. I call A/C lady because they were very close to me. I made the call at 10a and was told someone would be here at 2p. I received a call at 1:30 and was told he was few minutes out and he would see me at 2p. He arrived on time and perform the repair quickly. He was great in showing what was wrong and how to prevent it next time. Thanks A/C lady ....my wife is happy!

I realized one of my two A/C units was out on a Saturday night. The next day I got on Angie's list and looked for someone to call. The A/C Lady had great reviews and I just had a good feeling about it for some reason. I called her on Sunday and she answered. I told her my unit wasn't cooling and the first thing she asked was if I had more than one unit and I said yes. She said she was making out the next day's schedule and could probably work me in. I called back later and told her I could be home after 1:00pm and she said that would work. She said Louis would be the one coming out. Louis got here and I told him I had just had the other unit worked on and they had done some cursory check on this one and said it was fine. He told me to turn the unit on so I did. He told me very quickly the compressor was working fine. He did some checks and said it was just a blown capacitor. I was so glad to hear that it wasn't worse than that. He added a pound of freon and replaced the capacitor. They even gave me a discount on the service call because I mentioned I got their name on Angie's List. Peggy, the owner of the company, called me a couple of days later to see how things were going and I told her everything seemed fine. I thought it was nice that she followed up. Louis was great and very professional. I told her I was going to do a review on Angie's List. I would highly recommend this company. They were very professional and responsive.

.Her crew came promptly at 200 pm and worked until the job was competed. Peggy supervised. Peggy installed a Westinghouse complete 4 ton system indoor and outside model F for $4600.00

This was our first experience with Angie's List. We needed to find a company to do the Spring check on our AC units. After reading the reviews of the AC Lady/Peggy Key, we decided that she sounded dependable, fair and honest (traits lacking with many of the larger service providers we have used in the past). Upon calling and talking to Ms. Peggy's Aunt Mary, I had a great first impression of this company which was solidified upon meeting and dealing with the AC Lady herself. She let me watch everything she did and gave helpful tips to keep the system performing well in between checks. The AC Lady/Peggy Key lived up to her reviews, and I made sure to tell her that before she left. We are thankful to have found what we hope to be a long-term solution for our heating and air conditioning needs.

Our Home is 20 years old and we decided to change out the old Trane AC and Heating units. Peggy and her crew did an excellent job installing a new heating unit in the attic and the new AC outside. Thanks Peggy.

A/C Lady's son Zach came out and did the work for us. My outside and inside coils had frozen up and I knew I needed freon. I called and had to wait a day for them to come out because they were very busy and I called late in the afternoon. Zach didn't try to sell me more than I needed, and answered my questions. Freon is expensive, so the service was not cheap. But, I was not overcharged by any means. I'll definitely do business with this company again.
