They stole some of my sentimental jewelry. The guy packing my closet must have helped himself. 1 ring of my mothers from 40 years ago and a ring from my great grandmother. I’ll never use this company again! I didn’t pick them or I would have read the reviews! Frank Weaver claims to be the owner but he is hard to get a hold of. I actually went to their place of business and no one would answer the door.

This is a horrible company, horrible service, do not use them, ever. I have been dealing with issues with our move for 8 months now. I still do NOT have resolution. They damaged so much of our furniture. Frank Weaver, the owner, does NOT stand behind his service, his damage claim process, nor does he pay what you are owed, according to his own policy. He is unresponsive, unprofessional, and will not pay. He paid about a 30% payment of what he owed us. The check bounced the first attempt to cash. He agreed to a second payment and never paid that. I had documentation, photos, more documentation, used his terms for reimbursement and the state rules, and he still would NOT pay. He goes silent and does not respond. We had a mover that had no more than 3 days of experience. The senior mover was rude and condescending to the new guy, in front of the customer. They changed moving personnel in the middle of our move, due to their own lack of planning. We had a 10 mile move from a condo to a house, and we had so very much furniture damage. Thank goodness we moved all of our breakables and electronics ourselves. Do NOT use this company. They will do everything they can to get out of standing behind their service and paying for damages. Their rate is not cheap, they are slow, and when you pay by the hour, it adds up. They do not use enough blankets or packing material to protect your furniture. The damage was ridiculous. So very unhappy with this service Do not use them, ever. They are a terrible run business and they do not stand behind their service. Unresponsive, unprofessional, terrible quality, and not worth the price, with all the damages you receive. The owner will get defensive on this review and contradict what I am truthfully reporting. Check google, yelp and other reviews. This will confirm that you should not use this company.

Piano was scratched, with a chunk of wood broken off of bottom. When mentioned to mover, he stated it was already like that. I should have taken pictures before piano was moved, but didn't think to do it.

HORRIBLE LEARNING EXPERENCE WITH THIS MOVING COMPANY: A1A Affordable Moving a/k/a A1A Moving & Relocation Services moved a one bedroom apartment to a home. The movers did NOTprotect the brand new (one month old) LG 60", LED, 3D, Smart TV . We were not aware that it wasn't wrapped or protected with wrap or moving blankets (or nothing at all) until the TV was being unloaded off the moving truck. Once the move was completed, we plugged in the TV. Something had hit the TV screen and damaged it. Of course, with LED damage, it's not obvious that there is damage until you plug in the TV. Huge crack on the screen and of course, not repairable. The owner (Frank Weaver) was called immediately. The moving company did not take responsibility. It was confirmed with the owner BEFORE the move that if anything was lost or damaged, we were protected. They confirmed that we were fully protected and they did NOT offer any extra insurance coverage. Well, guess what, we weren't protected at all. They will only pay .60 per pound of whatever is damaged. That means that they are only liabile for about $6.00 if the TV weighs 10 pounds. Frank Weaver refused to even send to us a claim form to submit a claim. He hasn't even paid the .60 per pound claim. He was horrible to deal with. Horrible customer service. Rude. Luckily, insurance paid all except our deductible. We were asking that he just reimburse our deductible. He refused. We also filed a complaint through BBB. He still refused. Do not use this moving service. He may be cheaper than others, but you get what you pay for. We've used another moving company in the past (AB Moving). AB Moving lost a stand up swivel mirror in a move. They sent us a replacement check the very next week. That is what moving companies SHOULD do to keep return business. We will go back to AB Moving for ALL future moves. MY ADVICE: Prior to a move - always purchase extra moving insurance coverage.
