We hired them through Lowes to install our laminate flooring. Since the very first call I noticed the difference with other vendors; they were very responsive and professional, our calls were always returned promptly. The day of the installation they showed up at the time they promised (I value that very much), only took a short break for lunch, and completed the installation the same day. Our new floor looks great!

Art Armendariz and his brother did an outstanding job in two days. I love the results. I would highly recommend them. As a matter of fact, I would like to hire them for future work. They were so professional in every aspect.

They were punctual, very professional, very clean, they done a very nice job, they were here two days. I would highly recommend them, there were three men working, they left the premises very clean., they removed and put the furniture back in place, and placed felt pads everywhere it was needed. I am extremely pleased.

He seemed so nice on the phone, which was helpful as I live very far away and was trying to do this long distance. After the first visit, I asked him, week after week for a price to do the job. He apologized many times and said he would get back to me, but never did. He even stopped answering my calls. I was never anything but polite, especially as he told me he definitely wanted to do the job. I'm sure something bigger came up, and my little job wasn't worth it, but to leave me, and my two very aged parents waiting and waiting and waiting...well, this was beyond unprofessional, really unconsciounable.

Art met with me in early June to take measurements and called two days later with an estimate. My initial thoughts were that I have never had someone come over to quote a project that was so respectful. The price was reasonable and I proceeded to schedule. In between the time we scheduled the install and the day he arrived, Art called me weekly to check in and let me know he was on schedule. Only July 9th, his brother Gus and another worker arrived as they said and immediately began working. They were unbelievably professional and polite. It took them five days to get everything removed and the new flooring installed - they always arrived when they said and worked the whole day, only taking a 15 minute break for a packed lunch. While there, they always made sure to clean up after themselves and always very kind. At one point in the install, there were four individuals working - the dad, two brothers and a worker that had been with them forever. This truly is a family business. I left them alone in the house during the day with no supervision and didn't hesitate to do so. I have dealt with many contractors/installers since the purchase of my house, and hands down, Tommy's is the best. Never have I met individuals who were so professional, kind, honest and willing to go out of their way to help in any way. Their work in impeccable - best flooring installation I have ever seen. These guys truly know what they are doing and I highly recommend them to anyone. I cannot say enough good things about Tommy's and I hope to find another project that I am able to use them on. I will be telling all of my friends and family about them and recommend them for work whenever possible.

The workmen were here right on time and they started working and worked straight thru until they were finished. They then helped my husband move a big leather couch and an entertainment center back in place and even put felt pads on the heavy furniture. They didn't charge us for doing this. I can't say enough good things about this company.

I have known them for 25 years and they are fantastic. They came on time, they gave me the estimate, they kept their appointments, and they worked steadily every day from 9 to 7. They finished a huge job in one week, and they were professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves every day. The job is perfection and they do not expect payment until the job is finished. They do the work right the first time.

They did work for two days and did an excellent job. They were on time on both the days. They came in, did the work and cleaned everything. They cleaned up after themselves very well on both days. One of their staff was very nice and professional. One day, he did not call me at the time he said he would. So, he called me the following morning, told me the reason for not having called me and apologised. He was not disrespectful to me in any way and very kind to have listened to all the things I had to say. I had to have a surgery the following week and he made sure he had time to do the flooring and made sure he finished everything before my surgery. He was very nice and the company was very good. I had another service provider who estimated the work for $1136 and they would not even take my old floor off whereas, Tommy's Floor Covering did the work as well as took the old floor off, cleaned everything and charged me only $580. Also, they were knowledgeable and personable. I don't understand how the other service provider expected me to take the old floor off when I did not know anything about flooring. Then they said they would recommend somebody else for that job and didn't.

Tell him your needs and ask for suggestions and opinions. He really knows what he's doing! His partner was Gus but they both worked well together.
