These ladies are top notch! I used them earlier to appraise my Persian rugs for insurance purposes (see the review on this site). We just finished up a "pre-Estate" or downsizing sale which went so well! The ladies worked so hard to be sure all items were priced right for value and for sale purposes and displayed everything for easy shopping. They were positive and supportive in every way. I am very pleased with the way the sale went as far as set up, advertising, communications, and clean up. The profit I made was just about what I expected, too. Very well! These ladies know their business. They examined each item, front and back, did thread counts, took pictures front and back and close up of the threads on the reverse side of each rug. It took them about three weeks to do their research, write up the appraisal and bring it back to me. During that time they stayed in touch to ask a question or two and let me know their progress. The final appraisal presentation is very professional: in a binder with all materials and copies of all their pictures in plastic document page protectors, each item fully described in detail and priced according to new replacement cost, which is defined and explained in the appraisal document. My insurance agent was very impressed as well. The ladies spent time with me going over the appraisal and answering my questions. The rugs and wall hanging are now insured which gives me great peace of mind. We also discussed several ideas regarding how to best sell these rugs so we will be working together to get this done in the future. I have also contracted with Texas Recollections to do a pre-estate sale in a few weeks.
