In April I asked the "professional" if the carpets were cleanable as I was putting my house on the market, he responded they still had some life in them. He explained he cleans for apartment complexes and does a great job and making them look good. I paid the $300 plus to have carpets cleaned, stretched and a repair. I called again in June when my house was vacant, after carpets were cleaned I received a call from my realtor telling me that the carpets were in worse shape after they were cleaned, the carpet cleaning brought residue and dirt to the surface out of the padding and the carpet cleaner said they needed to be replaced after I now paid him $500 to clean them. When I contacted the "professional" he did not recall telling me that he could get the carpets looking good or that they still had some life, he also recalled the initial cleaning to be over 12 months prior not two. He was very defensive and not customer oriented, offered no resolution just argument with no recollection of conversation.
Description of Work: I had carpets cleaned in April, Satisfactory. I requested second cleaning in June after my house was empty and ready to be put on the market.
