Description of Work: Charged me $200+ to press three buttons simultaneously on my dishwasher. That's it. No exaggeration. Claimed it was fixed and that the bad smell came from the P trap in our sink. Recommended we clean out the p trap and if there still is a smell call a plumber. We cleaned p trap, had two different plumbers come out, and both said it was the dishwasher. Called them back 32 days later (it was summer and we were out of town) and they refused to come back bc they only guarantee their repairs for 30 days. I recognize we were two days out of warranty but given how much they charged and the fact that the repairman only pressed the buttons and didn't actually do any repair makes me angry. I definitely will not use them in the future.

Description of Work: Assessed the water dispenser on fridge- he opened the panel. I as the owner was able to ID the problem and fix myself. Tech did not try to up sell me or argue as I made the repair. Great company and I will call again if my mini repair every fails on it

Description of Work: Replaced my A/C - Swamp cooler. My old unit died, and Sobella's was prompt in their service and attention. They offered to install refrigerated air, but I just could not afford it at this time. Quality work all the way through.

Description of Work: Tried to use recent $39 Angie-Coupon towards simple recharge of a portable A/C unit, which I offered to bring into the shop... triggered a string of exchanged e-mails about how such a unit is not an "appliance" or HVAC system qualifying for their services. They should take "appliance repair" off their ads; it's quite MISLEADING or at least needs qualification! Also, quoted service-call and hourly rates are no bargain.... I told 'em I would post these comments in advance.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a large appliance repair diagnostic. I was having my problems with my ice maker. They were responsive. The wall on the backside of my fridge had water that was filling up on it and we couldn’t figure out where the problem was coming from. I ended up cutting off the water supply The technician told me what was wrong with it, but didn’t tell my how to fix it. I don’t think the technician knew exactly what the problem was. I was disappointment that he couldn’t tell me what needed to be repaired on it.

Description of Work: I used the Angies list coupon to have them come out and look at my garage frig that wasn't cooling. Showed up on time nice guy (looked like an unmade bed) told me it was the hinge that needed repalace and it would be another trip out and 170 more dollars. I paided him in full and he said he would be back in a day or two because all parts are over nighted. After I called and 5 days later he showed up replace the hinge. I googled the price of the part 20 dollars so if that is what they paid thats 180 dollars in labor it took about 30 minutes almost 400 dollars an hour. I guess we should all fix hinges.

Description of Work: Extremely pesky issue handled with multiple visits but outcome good. Apparently using generic water filter on this model refrigerator blew out circuit. They methodically worked on most likely issues and patiently kept coming back at my convenience until everything fixed.

Description of Work: They replaced a broken ice dispenser. the cost was extremely high to replace one little plastic part. But they did a good job.
