The fridge was old and we had a hard time finding information on it. Eventually we did and the cost to repair possibly the problem was as much as a new fridge.

It was fine. They fixed our fridge’s icemaker, which was 12 years old and worn out. We had it replaced. They were at the home for 45 minutes initially, and came back 4-7days later and replaced it.

Gave me the bad news that my relatively new (4-yrs) fridge needed a new compressor due to a factory defect in that the cardboard it was sitting on curled up and blocked the cooling fan thus burning out the compressor. Repair was over $600 so I opted to get a new fridge.

They were awesome. They went above and beyond the call of duty. The part that was broken on my refrigerator is no longer manufactured. They were able to find the part and were able to fix the refrigerator and were very persistent. It took 3 visits to get my refrigerator working and they only charged me for coming out the one time. I would recommend them to others.

My gas dryer stopped heating (everything else working normally). I selected Sobellas thru Angie's List - I paid $39 to Angie?s List and purchased a voucher for appliance repair. The technician arrived on-time - nice guy. He started working on the dryer and I showed him the voucher - he wasn't sure what to do with it so he said he would have to call it in. About 5-10 minutes later he said the dryer had blown a fuse and said he had a replacement. A few minutes later he was done and presented me a bill for $175. I told him it was excessive for 20 minutes work to change a fuse - not to mention I had already paid $39 for the voucher. He said the job was guaranteed, but seemed unwilling to reconsider the price. I didn't want to fight about it so I paid it. I asked him why the fuse had blown - he said it was likely just old (didn't really spend any time to troubleshoot it). He left, and less than a week later the dryer stopped heating again. I did some quick checking on the internet and found information that suggested that when the fuse blows the thermostat and thermistor should be replaced at the same time. I ordered a kit on Amazon for $20 and did the job myself - way less hassle than having to miss work to meet the technician again. Anyways, I'm out of pocket $215 for a fuse change to Sobellas - ridiculous! I would not recommend to anyone else - on the contrary I would advise people to avoid Sobellas.

John could not have been nicer. He called before he came and was very thorough with the inspection of my icemaker. I just put the request in late thursday 9/11/14 and had an appointment set up for 9/13/14 Saturday. Very fast service and very efficient. Thanks Sobella

The service went well. I purchased the deal to have them look at the dishwasher. The technician was unable to repair the dishwasher, but he was very helpful and told me I needed a new dishwasher. He even called ahead to a few companies for me. I thought he was very polite and I had no problem scheduling the deal.

From start to finish a good experience. The young lady who took my call to set up the appointment was very helpful. While a technician could have been sent that afternoon, we elected for the following morning. The technician arrived first thing in the morning, examined the dryer and thought that certain parts would need replacement. The price quoted for the repair was reasonable. Upon further inspection, it appeared that the parts could be lubricated and remounted and no replacement was necessary. The final price was under the initial quote, a pleasant surprise. Will definitely call again.

Service was great! I had called a well known appliance repair vendor and was told the next appointment date was September 15th! That was totally unacceptable, so I got on Angie's list and found the Great Deal for $39 for a service call and then $39 dollars towards the repair for SoBellas Appliance. I emailed them to set up an appointment and the next morning I had received an email stating to call to set up an appointment. To my surprise they were able to come out that day which was a Saturday of a holiday weekend. My appointment was between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm, but the repairman was able to come early and was actually finished by 1:00 pm. The repairman was able to diagnose and fix the problem for both refrigerators in no time at all. Professional, courteous, punctual, and fairly priced.

Diagnosed problem causing leak, cleared the problem and checked to be sure that it was fixed. Charged the minimum service charge. I was very satisfied with the service.

The service technician arrived on time, explained what he was looking for and explained how it should be fixed. He came back the following week with the part and replaced the circuit board. The dryer runs again!

My experience could not have gone better. They contacted me immediately and got to me the same day. The technician was great and professional. His work was clean and he was quick on the job. He gave me advice on positive usage on the ice maker for the future. I would highly recommend them.

The service went fine. They were not able to help me, however. They did not carry the particular gas range I needed. They were able to refer me to the company the range was warrantied under. One person came out for the service. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the service.

Technician and analyzed the appliance and cleaned it. Found a blocked (frozen) drain but no other problems. Couldn't identify noise I'd recorded on my phone that we hear occasionally but did not think it indicated a significant problem.

I had tried a number of different things prior to them coming out. They came out to diagnose the issue. They ordered the part and in three days had the ice maker was up and working.

Paul was not able to find a clear cause. He was very thorough, and checked everything that might be a possible reason, but was honest with me that he did not see a specific part that needed to be fixed. He could have easily told me something else and I wouldn't have known the difference. He gave me quotes on the possible repairs I might need, and gave me some ideas on what to look and listen for to get more clues. The washing machine is still usable, so I am waiting to see if it gets worse. Paul was very helpful, and I would definitely ask him to come out again if it looks like we will need some repairs.

I was having scheduling issues with the service provider initially and we were finally able to set up an appoint date of today 8/8/2016. I told him to not come unless he had a specific switch to fix my stove top, because I needed a new one. He showed up at 4PM and and was supposed to come at 1PM. He looked at my stove very briefly and stated, "Oh, you need a new switch." To him I responded, yes and I told you that! I said not to come without a switch because I needed one. He did some research on his laptop and said the switch would be 254 dollars or 202 dollars after the 39 dollar credit from the Big Deal and another discount! I said that I could buy a 36 inch stove top for 300 dollars. I only needed a switch! He said, well that's going to be the cost. I also asked him to swap the switches out, even with the 39.00 credit he wanted to charge me another 178.00 dollars for that, which I declined. Had me initial a document and just left.

Discovered that the water intake was most probably frozen - he looked at everything else and said everything was in good working order. Told me the refrigerator should be completely defrosted - he offered to quick defrost it for a price, but said there was no hurry as I had an additional refrigerator and could do it myself. The technician was pleasant, friendly, and did not try and sell me anything I didn't need. For $39, him covering a service call and offering to come back if needed was more than value for my money.

John repaired washing machine and cleaned debris by replacing the pump. After repair, when the clean washer reminder came on, an error code returned. Paul came out to look at it and found nothing wrong with machine, but sensors were sensing. He gave great suggestions of how to eliminate the error code at no cost. John also repaired the drum on the dryer and all is well.

Everything went really well. He came out to look at the refrigerator, ordered the correct part and came back a week later to install it.

Wonderful! Our technician has been Paul and we really like him. He's courteous, punctual, and professional. He doesn't try to talk you into something or come off as knowing more than he does. He called the manufacturer when he had questions and he was careful in his assessment. I would certainly use SoBellas again for an appliance repair.

They did excellent work. Just one technician came out to give me an estimate and then came out to do the repair. I also requested to use Paul and they were very accomidating with making sure Paul was the one to come out to do the job. It only took him less than an hour. He was knowledgeable, nice and professional. He did really well with letting me know what would benefit me as the customer. He was also prompt too.

I am a little hesitant to write this review, but in honesty, it needs to be said. I bought the Angie's list packet for 39.00 for a service estimate on one appliance. I paid the full cost for the estimate on the second, which was 79.00. The serviceman was an hour late, but he did call and let me know he was running late and would be there when he could. The Dryer -- The problem with the dryer unit was that the buzzer would not shut off when the dryer was finished. The Serviceman disconnected the buzzer, and then gave me an estimate of $200.00 to fix the problem. This was more than I could afford, but since the disconnection of the buzzer solved at least most of the problem, I chalked the issue up to "repaired" and let it sit. The Washer -- The Washer was not draining properly, and the serviceman started it through a cycle, saw that it wasn't draining, and announced that it needed a new pump, which he could install for $500.00. This was way out of my price range, so I cut him a check for the estimates and sent him on his way. Out of curiosity, I looked up the cost of a new Maytag Neptune pump online and saw it cost $102.00. This is a bit of a markup, but, I said to myself, labor is expensive, so maybe $500 isn't that unreasonable. Then I got to looking at the comments that went with the pump and noticed that over and over, what had broken the pumps were coins that had gone through the cycle and broken the blades on the impeller. I am no kind of a plumber but I figured, what if there was a just a coin jammed in the pump, could I remove it? I started to unhook the washer from the wall and happened to look into the drain hose. It was jammed solid. A few minutes with a piece of wire and I had removed a dime and a penny from the drain hose. I hooked everything up and the washer is working perfectly. It seems if I paid $79.00 for a diagnostic, the gentleman could have at least checked the drain hose before proposing a $500.00 pump replacement.

My experience went fine. They were punctual and professional. They cleaned up well after themselves. I felt the price was little expensive for what they did. When they first gave me the price, I asked why it was so expensive. They told me they had to use a special jack to pull the fridge from the wall, however they did not even do that.
