Technician came by as scheduled and opened up washer panels , made some phone call to Samsung technical support. After talking to Samsung technical support for half hour suggested for replacement of burnout computer board @ cost of around $400. I told him i will call back and schedule repairs later. I purchased a used unit for $450 to replace faulty washer , when this used unit was delivered , during the hookup it came up that the electric wall socket was faulty, so the problem was not the washer but electric wall socket. called an electrician to fix the electric outlet for $120 parts labor, everything is working new used washer and the original washer . total cost $39 for original service call $120 for electrician $450 for used washer whole process costed me $609 due to wrong trouble shooting

I am ultimately very dissatisfied by my use of Sonella's and will use another appliance repair provider for future appliance repairs and have advised friends, family and co-workers to also avoid Sobella's. The response time for technician the professionalismsionalism of their technician and the quality of the repair all met my expectations. However, the response time to receive an itemized bill was poor and required 3 separate emails. The price breakdown was- Part: $52.87, Part tax: $4.36, Labor: $150.00, Labor tax : $12.38 Total: $219.61 - $39 Angie?s credit = $180.61. When I emailed about the $150 labor charge for a net 30 minute repair, this half hour charge extrapolates to $300/hr, Ms Castanada, a customer care representative, said the labor was a flat fee, regardless of labor time, and based on the difficulty of the job. I questioned if a repair diagnosed almost instantly and fixed in 25 minutes was particularly difficult. She suggested I write an upper management representative. I then wrote to Mr. Mireles, Sobells's senior repair manager, about what I view as an unreasonable labor cost for a 30 minute repair. He said the cost of my repair was warranted by the intrinsic costs of Sobell's particular business model and provided a detailed list driving their pricing. The listed items included good training for technicians, supplying nice uniforms and new trucks that don't leak oil on my driveway, the speed of response and use of computers to monitori repair progress and their policy of providing employee benefits. He explained this was all different from less expensive companies. Still, he did not specifically address my concern over my specific labor cost or tell me if the cost of my repair exceeded the companies stated goal that Sobell's earn only 10% above their cost I told Mr Mireles I sincerely applaud Sobella's buisness model but strongly felt I was contributing more than I should to support it! Several follow up emails did not result in my specific questions being answered. I then wrote to a company officer, Mr Vasquez, but was told by him that Sobella's invariably follows a labor pricing book and the $150 label or cost, for the 30 minute repair, was what was specified in this book and is what they always charge. I asked that he be certain that the pricing schedule used was for our machine and not a more complicated front loading model. I did not receive this information. Because of my strong dissatisfaction, detailed above, I advise you to pass by any Angie's List deal for Sobella's, no matter how good it seems, and select another highly rated provider that may be able to give a satisfactory explaination.for why your SPECIFIC labor cost for your SPECIFIC repair extrapolates to $300 an hour.

They showed up on time. Diagnosed the problem correctly. Explained clearly how the repair was to be done. They ordered the part and returned to install it. They also warrantied their work for 5 years parts and labor.

This was probably the best experience I've had with any company. Everything was as advertised or better.

He walked in, looked at the washer for about 2 minutes, told my husband and me that it was a specific part that was wrong and he could get the part in the next few days and he would be back out to replace- we also had to pay for the part up front (about $300). After 3 days had passed and we had heard nothing from the company, I called. The manager informed me that a worker did not have the authority to schedule himself out to repair the washer and the part wouldn't be in for two weeks. I asked why the man would tell me that he would be back out and if that was protocol so that customers would continue to use them - to which I was informed that it was not. I then cancelled the service and asked for my money to be credited back to me. I then went and found the part I needed for the washer and my husband replaced it after watching a youtube video.

Paul and Gilbert showed up as scheduled and called prior let me know what time to expect them. Both technicians promptly applied yellow booties before entering the home without being asked to do so. Paul instantly knew the source of the problem and immediately took care of it. I am a REALTOR® taking care of a property for a seller. Not only was my seller impressed with their professionalism, knowledge base and ability to quickly assess and fix the issue at hand, but I was as well. I will definitely call on SoBellas Home Services again!

Paul was very professional. He showed up on time, made a quick diagnosis and followed through with ordering parts for the repair. He came back, did the installation and got me up and running. He was personable and honest. He reflects well on the company.

Press button handle on microwave door with an internal broken level. We were able to purchase the part but found that our microwave had to be accessed with specialized tools to access the area we needed to repair. We found Sobella's on Angie's List with a service coupon. We left a message on the weekend, they called us Monday and came out first thing Tuesday morning. They we were on time, professional, explained the repair to my husband and cleaned up after. We would definitely contact them again if needed, but we hope we won't have to!

I love this company! They are so nice, professional and a pleasure to work with. I have used them in the past and will continue to do so. This time I needed them to help me with my elderly mother's washing machine that was "leaking water." I just happened to get notification of a special "Deal" for a $39 large appliance diagnosis and I used it to book a visit to my Mom's house. The service people at SoBellas are always so polite and understanding with my Mom -- I deeply appreciate that. This time it was determined that it was a clogged drain line and not the appliance itself. The technician suggested calling a plumber. He had also noticed the washer outlet had "burned" at some point and he suggested calling an electrician. He didn't charge anything additional for taking apart the washer and checking it thoroughly from top to bottom. I called my plumber and electrician -- also Angie's List finds -- and everything is back in order for my Mom.

It was great. He was very prompt. He was very good at communicating. He informed me in each step of the process like this is what we're doing, this is what happened, if that happens again this is what you do.

Tech was thorough and honest. Did a complete test. Stayed until unit reached high temperature and waited for unit to cut off so it wouldn't overheat. I would hire again. Good work.

He analyzed the system, talked to me about the probable causes and recommended an approach. In our case, the repair would exceed the value of purchasing a new appliance and so we did not pursue further repairs after diagnosis. He clearly demonstrated that he was knowledgeable about refrigerators in general and our model specifically.

It went probably better than we were expecting. SoBella's came out and diagnosed why our freezer was not working properly. They believed it was a couple of different parts needing replacing. We went ahead with ordering the parts and trying to repair this old freezer as opposed to replacing it....even though the repair professional couldn't promise that this would fix it. They came out a week later to install the new parts and unfortunately it didn't repair the unit (leaking coil was discovered after new parts installed). We therefore had no choice but to replace the freezer unit. With that said, SoBella's refunded back to us the costs of the parts and only charged us a service call fee which we believe was very reasonable. We will use these folks again in the future and recommend them to others. They're pros and stand behind their reputation...don't find that many places anymore.

They do a good job and the money is worth the service. They are very professional and they set up appointments and they are always on time.

Very punctual and professional throughout the process. Both John's (tech's names) were knowledgeable, proficient and persistent in getting the job done right. Even though I know they were very tired when they left - they forgot to take away the boxes.

It was fine. My dryer wasn't very cooperative but the people were very nice. He did everything he could for it and this dryer still may squeak. I tried to get him to fix the drum and it was bent. He told me it might work or might not. He was very upfront with me and I told him I wanted to go ahead and take it one more step just to see. He tried but it was still squeaky. He didn't do anything without telling me first so I was very pleased with him. He was here well over an hour. There was a couple things wrong and I had bought it as a floor model. He had brought me in the room and showed me when the dryer first starts spinning it is real heavy at first because the clothes are heavy and it makes a hideous noise because it actually rubbing against the outside housing. I could see that and the drum was a little bent and the outside was bent too. He did bang on it to try to fix it and it has kind of made its way into making this noise again. I was concerned being metal on metal and could it spark. He said no it is not a fire hazard and assured me and that he might be able to bang it out and straighten it but he was like I might not be able to. It did get better but it has worked back into the same squeaks. It dries fine and as long as I am not afraid of it being a fire hazard then I was pretty much okay with it. I felt very comfortable with him.

He advised us that it would be better to replace the washer instead of repair. He was prompt and courteous,

March 12: dryer was working fine except for a gas leak. technician could not find gas leak but cleaned duct. March 13: dryer was not drying the clothes and got dangerously hot. Gas leak still present. March 14: a different technician came and found that the previous technician had kinked the duct hose, and determined that the thermostat no longer worked. We suspect that the overheating problem caused the failure in the thermostat. They gave us a quote of $220.42 to repair the damage we believe they had done. They agreed to reduce it to the cost of the thermostat of $55.83. We want to point out that the same thermostat is available for retail price of $20.57. March 30: a third technician came to replace the thermostat and we still smelled the gas leak (which is why we called in the first place). He used a Gas Mate detector and quickly identified the presence of the gas leak. He removed the gas line and found a cracked flare line. He called his manager and said that it will cost us $70.00 to replace the gas line. It took this company three technicians to find the gas leak and in the process we believe our dryer was damaged and we had to pay to get it fixed. This was an extremely stressful experience and we spent almost enough to buy a new dryer.

Was supposed to show-up between 1:00 and 5:00 PM and then changed it to 5:30 to 6:00 ...... but didn't arrive until 6:30 PM. Though called once regarding tardiness, was not responsive to maintain communication regarding delays. It took less than 10 minutes to troubleshoot and fix, but job, for work performed, was excessive. Though vent was identified as a probable cause, didn't resolve this problem, but left it to owner to resolve later. Will not use again.

After a feeble attempt to duplicate the problem, the repairman called Samsung (the manufacturer). After a few minutes on the phone, he told me the tub needed to be replaced and that Samsung would warranty the tub however, there would be a $300 installation fee. I asked him if it would fix the problem to which he said that he was not sure. He offered to tighten the tub for $100. I asked if it would help to which he replied he was not sure. I approved for him to tighten the tub and paid him for the service. My total expenses were approximately $140. I called Samsung and ordered the replacement tub and requested the repair company as the vendor to do the installation as I was instructed. I still have heard nothing from the repair company about receiving the replacement tub from Samsung or anything regarding a follow-up. I would never use this company for anything again. Oh, and by the way, he kept my flashlight.

I prepaid the service so the tech unlocked the door for us. I inquired how much it would cost to repair the rubber seal around the door (it fell out). The tech quoted us $179 but would allow the $39 prepaid fee to go towards it. I elected to not have the tech fix it. Later, a friend fixed it in about 10 minutes.

They did a good job. I thought for the amount of time it took to fix was expensive, but I don't think anyone else would have charged less. He gave me a 15% discount by being an Angie's List member.
