Rudd Electric

Rudd Electric came in like superheroes and saved me from my new home’s electrical challenges. (Somehow missed in the inspection). I have a kitchen that’s functional and can support a fridge and a microwave at the same time (and more!) I can’t thank James and the marvellous Eric enough for the rescue! I don’t hate my new house anymore!

Rudd Electric installed a 50 Amp outdoor circuit at our home. This circuit provided power to our Class A motor home, including running two 15,000 BTU air conditioners during the summer months. The installation was absolutely outstanding. The circuit wiring was routed through rigid conduit from the the circuit breaker box inside the garage to the outside wall next to the garage. All the conduit was perfectly level and besides being functional the installation was attractive and professionally installed. Rudd Electric arrived both for the original estimate and then to perform the wiring exactly at the time & date committed. The final price was what they originally quoted even though they had to add additional parts during the actual installation. James Rudd is a true professional, honest and was a sincere pleasure to work with on this major electrical project. I would definitely use his company again for any future electrical needs.

We had a number of electrical issues we needed addressed. James spent a good hour touring our home as we discussed them. He actually took the time to explain the possible causes and solutions of each, even drawing diagrams to help us understand. He quickly provided a detailed estimate which was more than reasonable in terms of price. I was amazed that he was able to install recessed lights and fans with no attic access and minimal sheetrock disruption—akin to “laparoscopic” installation in my mind. He was punctual, professional, pleasant and expeditious, completing the work in the estimated time frame and at the estimated price. The overall results and experience were outstanding. I highly recommend Rudd Electric!

Everything went well. Mr. Rudd is very easy to work with: cordial and courteous in his approach with me, but confident and professional in the performance of his work. I thought his orignal extimate was more than fair. And, I was particularly impressed when he didn't suggest an adjusted fee for having to go through those studs! He was also more than accommodating with the way he offered to meet me after hours because both my wife and I work away from the house during normal business hours. That really meant a lot to me, needless to say! This might not mean much to most people, but I was further impressed with how he dealt with his employeed who, apparently, had only been with the company for less than six months. They worked together well... as if they had been together for a decade or more. So... the Angie's List recommendation was solid. Mr. Rudd is the real deal. I wouldn't heistate to call upon him for any other electrical jobs I may have in the future...

James is our go to guy for any electrical work. He has replaced fixtures, added oulets for us in the past. Most recently set up the electric for our new hot tub, wired our pergola for electric and installed fans. He is dependable, honest, and on time! He does quality work and his prices are great. When you want the job done on time ond done right call James.

It went extremely well , he did exactly as he said he would, there were no surprises, very professional and I am very please with the quality of his work, very friendly and helpful with better and new ideas. There were some issues that came up later that night and in 20 min he showed up to fix them, I even told him it was ok if he came the next day but he still rushed to fix it immediately that same day. He even helped me be aware of some plumbing issues I need to fix in my attic I was not aware of.. everything was above my expectations

The price proposal was extremely reasonable for the complicated work involved. When we agreed to the work, he was quick to start work to obtain permit. He worked fast on the job to limit the time required to have the electricity shut off in the house. Work areas were left clean. Work was accomplished quickly and quality. I would highly recommend Mr. Rudd and will call him back for future electrical work.

He traced the problem to a loose neutral line in one of my office plugs; it took about 45 minutes. Once it was found he repaired it.

James Rudd showed up within 15 minutes after I called him and helped me identify the circuit breaker that controls the outside circuit. He then replaced the GFCI outlet and secured the other outlet to the rock wall. I was completely satisfied with his promptness, the speed in which he worked, the quality of his work, the price paid,and his demeanor. I will use him from now on and highly recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Rudd was an excellent choice. He did over -and- above what was required. He was professional, pleasant, honest and motivated to always provide excellent quality work. He showed me how my fuse box was numbered and corresponded to the sources. He checked to make sure the wires had been upgraded to carry the correct voltage. Had it been done incorrectly, I would have had more problems and more expenses. He performed his job in a way I haven't seen often in El Paso. Meaning : Do the job right the first time. His charge was beyond fair and I was happy to complete my nightmare task which could have caused me many more problems. I won't use anyone else for my electrical needs. He has restored my faith that honest, capable professionals still live in El Paso. My outcome was perfect.
