I called on a Friday to make an appointment for the following Monday between 11 am and 2 pm. I missed a call from them at 10 am on Monday morning, but no one left a message or tried to call back. I assumed it was to confirm the appointment. When 2 pm arrived and no one had come or called, I phoned the company to see what was going on. The dispatcher said that Al was the one assigned to my house. She called him and found out he was at a house and as soon as he finished would come to my house. I'm not exactly sure when he arrived, around 3 pm, I think. Al was very courteous and got to work right away. He knew immediately what the problem was, and he took the time to show me the issue, explain how it worked, and what he needed to do to fix it. He had all the equipment he needed and fixed it. I also asked him if he would adjust the tilt of the refrigerator because the previous homeowners left it tilted ver far forward, and he did that. He also took the time (I asked about this) to explain all of the maintenance I should be doing on the refrigerator. He took the back cover off of the condenser and coils to show that they weren't in bad shape but that I should dust them off every few months. My refrigerator has a disposable filter inside, but the water line going to it also has a filter in it. I asked about this, and he explained that it was really only necessary before these refrigerators with built-in filters. He showed me how to remove it and what hardware I would need to reconnect the lines without it. All in all, Al was excellent. He even gave me a chance to clean behind the refrigerator while he had it pulled out. He also showed me that the shelves were installed incorrectly, and he took them all out and put them in the right way. He was very thorough and patient. What was best was that he answered my questions and was genuinely interested in helping me learn about my appliance, something I greatly appreciate. Many who come to do work just want to get it done and leave. He was in motion, working the whole time, but he was so friendly and helpful. I would ask for him to come back in a heartbeat, and I've already recommended the company (and Al in particular) to a friend of mine.
Description of Work: My Frigidaire refrigerator / freezer was leaking water into the bottom of the freezer. The ice would build up until the water would eventually run out onto the floor.
