+ -1 moreRoberto did a great job on my roof when he did that job for me, so I hired him to do some remodeling / cosmetic work on the outside and inside of my house. The company name is Roberto's Construction and Roofing, so you would think basic repair and painting would not be an issue. Turns out, this is not his forte. He could not adequately complete the exterior job, so I had to fire him from the exterior and interior job. He has $1800 in deposits and I have been trying to get that back from him for over a month.
Description of Work: exterior and interior remodeling projects. Scraping, repairing and painting of exterior fascia and soffit, iron burglar bars, etc. Ineterior, drywall repair, textuing, painting and tile in bath and kitchen.

+ -1 moreI needed to replace a roof on my rental. I got 4 estimates from various companies, including Roberto's Construction and Roofing. I had used Roberto several years ago on my residence, so I wanted his estimate on this job once again, he did not fail to disappoint...he came in A LOT lower than the others that I had found on this site. I met with Roberto on 12FEB2013 and gave him half down as a deposit and he and his crew showed up first thing the next day, 13FEB2013 to get started. They finished the roof and cleaned up the area the next day 14FEB2013. Very professional, very fast...great price.
Description of Work: I had a roof on a rental in bad shape so I had to have it replaced.

+ -1 moreI have gone to the Better Business Bureau but have not been able to get my money back. He started the roof in November and was supposed to finish it by the 18th. He took off the fascia and put new fascia on and he never stripped the roof or put the new shingles on. I paid him a $2,600 deposit, and he has not returned any of that. He gave me a check for it which I have not been able to cash. I am not the first person that he has done that too. This is a felony right now. He has done the same thing a year ago to another family, and they never got their money back either.
Description of Work: He has started our roof but has not finished it.

+ -1 moreI had a great experience with him. I was very pleased. He did excellent work on my house that I have. If the place has fallen apart, he puts it back together really good. When the insurance company went out to inspect, they said he did an excellent job. I have no problems; none more so ever. I would definitely use him again in the future.
