I contacted Rivas Rockwall after reading their outstanding reviews. Avelino gave me free estimates on different ideas we had for our project, he was patient, courteous and helpful. Avelino and his crew showed up on time and executed their work flawlessly. After they completed the rock wall they followed through with a clean up of the area. They did an outstanding job, we are happy with the work Rivas Rockwall completed and plan to hire them again.

I can't remember the exact date and I apologize for this review being so delayed but the work was done in early late July or early Aug. Mr. Rivas arrived the day I called for the estimate and was on time. Discussed 2 options with me and provided quotes and got all the measurements dont. He did not request any deposit or monies up front (I was surprised) and scheduled me for a couple of days out. Crew showed up a little earlier than the stated time of 0600 and got right to work. The area was immaculate when I got home not even cement dust in the pool and areas adjacent to the walls were swept clean. I will definitely use this company again and will not hesitate to recommend. Very professional experience--never before have I dealt with a company that didn't ask for some sort of deposit up from but Mr. Rivas pointed out that a quality company should have working capital and expect the profit on completion....what a novel idea!

Avelino is very prompt, when he says 06:00 AM he means 06:00 AM. The were very efficient and careful with what they had to do. It was during the rain storms but they managed to finish before we got any severe storms. He gave me an estimate of 2 weeks and he finished right on time , even given the extra work. I will definitely brag about him to others I know and use him again.

Mr. Rivas and crew showed up on site on the day and time that we had agreed upon. They continually worked non stop each day until the rockwall extension was completed. Mr. Rivas worked along side his crew to insure the job was properly done. We were very satisfied with the rock wall extension and the clean up afterwards. From the first visit until the completion of the rockwall extension, Mr. Rivas was prompt, professional and honest. We would not hesitate to call his company again for any further projects that would come up. We feel that we definately got an exellant finished product for a very resonable price.

Mr. Rivas was very responsive. He came to my house the same day that I called. He listened to my description of the requirements and gave me a detailed estimate for the job. We discussed possible dates to perform the job. Later that week he called with a date that was within my available dates. He called again three days before the job to touch base as to the time, date, and address of the job. As promised, he arrived promptly at 6:00 a.m. with a two man crew between the three of them they leveled the area, set up the concrete forms, poured the concrete and smoothed it out until it was almost dry. They cleaned the area and removed the forms. He also gave me estimates for other rock wall repairs, exterior painting, and hard scape for front yard. I asked if he could break them down separately. He was very accommodating and stated that no job is too small which I appreciate since I cannot afford big projects. I recommended Mr. Rivas to my sister for a rock wall extension project. I would recommend him again. The job was completed to my satisfaction. In addition, he is a very personable and respectful individual. His crew were also very respectful and professional.

They came, they did the work very well. I paid them and they left. It went very well, Mr. Rivas was very nice. It was a good experience.

This is my third time using Rivas Rock Wall. I must say, he is a professional in a field where professionals are hardly ever found. His work is great, but that is not what defines his company. He is very well spoken, professional, and is a man of his word. Mr. Rivas does not charge for the work until the work is completed! This is especially important! I am a law enforcement officer and I can assure you that there are hundreds of reports each year about contractors taking deposits and never performing work. Mr. Rivas does not take a dime until the work is completed. I not only appreciate this fact tremendously as it protects me, but it also shows that Mr. Rivas has the financial stability to pay his suppliers, which is indicative of a successful business. One word of caution!!! If Mr. Rivas states he is going to be at your house at 7am, HE WILL SHOW UP ON TIME! In El Paso, this is so very rare, so I wasn't expecting it. On 05/10/2013 he was scheduled to be at my house at 6am, as soon as daylight broke, to begin working. This was my third time using his company, so I was already awake, and he still beat me to the door at 5:50AM. All three times I have used Mr. Rivas he has never once been late, and always been early. He also works all day until the job is complete and rarely leaves the work site unless it is for additional materials. On the three times that I have used him, each time they took a very minimal lunch and worked all day, every day. I have hired contractors to do various jobs over the years, and Rivas has been the best hire I have ever made. I cannot recommend him or his company enough. I also learned that his company has expanded into some limited landscaping work and painting work. I cannot judge the quality of his work on those items, however for rock wall work he is great. As a contractor, he is probably one of the best in El Paso.

They arrived on time everyday, a total of 7 days. THey were very respectful of our home and yard and dogs!! They worked quicly and neatly everyday.

They do an excellent job. I got them because they were building a rock wall for my neighbor. They clean up extremely well. They are polite and don't stop working until they are finished.

It was great. I've never seen workman so meticulous. They did a wonderful job. Their clean up was meticulous as well. I can't say enough good things about them.
