He was very professional and showed up to work with his workmen. Initially I disliked the color he painted the wooden gates but as soon as I told him, he came out to show us paint samples and repainted the gate.

Mr. Rivas was very professional and very punctual. He finished the job as he stated in his quote and his crew were very clean and professional as well. I would definitely hire Mr. Rivas again and would recommend his company to family and friends.

Very professional from initial visit to provide estimate all the way to final meeting to sign warranty and collect amount due. Mr. Rivas explained all the steps, approximately time of completion, and provided detailed scope of work. The gentleman who actually installed the gate was also very professional, worked diligently and everything worked the way it's supposed to. Since this is the first time I've replaced a wrought iron gate, I originally thought the price was a bit high, but the quality of work appears to be well worth the cost, an Angie's List discount was applied to the cost and a two year warranty was provided. Very satisfied with this company, highly recommended.

Thls company was responsive and up-to-date enough to communicate by email. Mr. Rivas scheduled us in promptly. His technician did a superb job repairing the closure on a metal gate, making all new parts and even doing his best to match paint for us. The gate is so much better than it was before, and the new closure is sturdy and professional. I wish we'd known about this company when we had the gate made, because they did a really wonderful job.

Great experience. Mr. Rivas was very professional. He showed up on time for the estimate, started and finished when he said, made sure I was informed along the way, and left not a trace of equipment or material behind. He provided me with a detailed invoice, warranty, and payment was easy - nothing due until work was complete. I work full time and did not have to be at home while the work was being done.

Very professional..work was started on time and was finished a couple of days early. Mr. Rivas and his crew were very punctual and once work was completed they left the area clean. He also took care of the permit needed with the city. I highly recommend his services.

Avelino Rivas the owner is very professional. His very punctual and being bilingual helps us a lot since we can't speak Spanish. He built 116 feet iron fence and it turn out beautiful. He doesn't ask any financial advance and bill you for the whole amount when the job is done. I highly recommend his company.

Avelino is super reliable, he takes good care of his workers, I was very pleased with his work ethic! The only concern i had was the cleanup too much concrete was left in my flower beds and behind my evergreen plants throughout. I would hire him again

The moment we called the Rivas company responded the very next day and gave us an estimate of how much the work would cost along with a detailed description of his company as well as the materials needed to complete the job. He also explained the approximate time frame to get the job done. He asked for no money down and was willing to start right away. They did a fabulous job and it was all worth it. The Rivas Rockwall Company is very professional, punctual, and above all considerate of their customers needs and wants. Before they left my home they picked up all their tools and even hauled away any debris from the previous wall. They swept my patio and even my carport for me and even watered it down and made it look absolutely wonderful. As a Disabled Veteran this company is absolutely perfect for all our needs. The work was done in a timely manner. Work was started and finished when Mr. Rivas said it would be. The work was done to my satisfaction.

They did a very good job and used Portland cement instead of a cheaper cement product. A crew of 4 and Mr. Avelino Rivas did the work. They did a good cleanup job too. We did a complete inspection after the work was finished and were very pleased.

I hired RIvas Rockwall because of the good reviews and the initial professional demeanor by Mr. RIvas. It is very hard to come across a professional attitude and behavior in El Paso. Mr. Rivas outlined the time and date his crew was going to show up, and what work was going to be done. He even provided a proposal. Everything went very well. The time for the contracted work started. The crew came on time and brought their equipment. Their equipment looked inadequate and some essential equipment needed to properly prune a large tree was not brought. I asked Mr. Rivas if he has pruned a tree before, and he said yes, but I was still very concerned, since he was asking me which limbs to cut. I told him I wanted the dead limbs cut and the tree thinned out. I also told him that I wanted the branches extended over to the neighbors to be cut. Well,Mr Rivas and the crew pruned the tree, but they left dead branches on the tree, and his crew did not properly thin out the tree. Rivas cut branches that left the main branch bark stripped and part base of the cut branches left on the bigger branches. This clearly showed he didn't know how to properly prune a tree. Many clumped areas were left in the tree crown. As far as cleaning most branches and tree limbs were picked up, but many small branches were left on the ground in many areas of the yard, since they didn't rake the areas where the limbs fell, because they didn't have a rake. When the walls were done, they patched up the holes and some gaps, but left some holes and left excess cement on the ground. They did not clean up these areas. I called Mr. Rivas again to have the crew clean up the mess. They came very early and picked up a few branches, but never raked or cleaned up the cement left from their work. I called Mr. Rivas about the work, and told him that I was very disappointed with the lack of professional work done on my tree. I was upset that for the price I paid ($1200.00) was a ripoff in that I got a tree looking very bad and the yard not professionally cleaned up. The walls were not smoothed out nor the cement cleaned up. I told him that I did not want him back at the house again. (Since I was afraid if there was any more work done, that I would have a dead tree and my walls would look even worse.) Now, I have to call a tree-pruning expert to fix the damage that was done to my tree, before it gets diseased. I would not recommend this company at all, especially since they claimed to know how to prune or trim a tree, and obviously didn't know how to prune. I am unhappy with the work they did with the walls as well. On a good note, they did show up and they did come on time. Other than that, I feel that I was severely ripped off. P.S. I do have pictures of the work done.

Everything went great from the time my husband contacted Mr. Rivas till the end of the project. While I was out of town my husband had a large cottonwood tree, that was dying, removed from our backyard. My husband had left messages for several contractors inquiring about tree rmoval. Mr. Rivas returned my husbands call the same day, June 8th, and also came by on the 8th to give an estimate for the job. My husband was happy with Mr. Rivas and hired him to do the job. Mr. Rivas stated that he would contact the company that he contracts wth to see if he could get a dumpster for the 9th and if he could they would do the job the next day. After getting all his arrangements made Mr. Rivas called my husband and set the times for the job to start. The dumpster was delivered on time 6:30 am and Mr. Rivas was at our home at 6:45. By 10:30 am the job was complete even the dumpster was removed. When I got home I was very impressed with the job they did with the clean up. It was like the tree had never been there. The company Mr. Rivas uses for his dumpster service is Longhorn Roll-Offs owned and operated by Mr. Rudy Gallegos. My husband was very impressed by the professional and courteous encounter he had with both of these companies. Will definitely use either of these companies again should the need arise and recomend them to friends or family.

I am so happy with them. They used Behr paint which I was really happy with. If I need anything done I would definitely get in touch with them. I am 100% pleased with the work that was done.

Great!!! He was always on time to give an estimate and to complete the work. They work very, very fast. They moved everything that needed to be moved then moved everything back. Cleaned up all debris. True quality work and professionalism. In the future, I will always use Rivas Rockwall. The BEST OF the BEST!!!!!!

Always on time, very professional. His crew was great. The kind of people you don't mind having work around your home. I missed them after having them around every day working! They were like family. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner! So beautiful! I am going to have him paint my house next!

Avelino Rivas came promptly to give an estimate. Project was scheduled and I had to call and postpone due to finances. Avelino was fine with rescheduling and promptly started a week ago February 7, 2014. The job was completed this afternoon February 14, 2014. The damage was fixed professionally and small rock walls were built half way around each pole to keep the large and small rail road tie walls secure "forever". It is beautiful and secure. Very professional, on time, finished in a timely manner, cleaned up after the job was completed. Wonderful company, asked for 2 more project estimates. Will recommend this company to everyone needing a rock wall constructed.

We had a cement slab poured in our back yard to extend our patio. They actually offered to start days sooner than their original estimated appointment. There was a misunderstanding about the measurements at first but they were quick to make the correction. They were courteous, efficient, and clean.

Showed up at scheduled time. All the work was done as requested. Crew cleaned up areas at the end of each day and before leaving each day attention given to secure the area where the dogs might get out. All debris was removed. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Rivas Rockwall gave us an appointment for an estimate the same day I called. Avelino arrived on time and gave us a written estimate at that time. He arrived exactly on time the day the work was scheduled with two workmen. He reviewed what would be done, then checked twice with us that day to make sure the work was being done to our satisfaction. I even asked for additional work that he willingly did. The work was done in a timely, professional manner and is under warrenty for a year. We are very pleased and would recommend this company with high honors.
