Daniel came as he said, they installed a new irrigation valve and trimmed our tall 35 foot palm tree. It's located in a hard to reach area and Daniel had no problems performing the task. They cleaned up and hauled away all the clipping. Very friendly and hard working people. Daniel took his time to talk to us, we explained what we wanted in our backyard, so we've hired them to do our backyard landscaping. They will be working this coming Saturday and we're excited to have Daniel's company do the work. We were very pleased with their work, it's hard to find honest people, he did not want to sell me more then we need. I highly recommend his company and will definitely call him back for landscaping jobs or maintenance.

My mom's house has been empty for awhile. The outside area had not been maintained for several months. Daniel met me at the house and we walked the area and he gave me an estimate for what needed to be done. I appreciated the fact that he wrote every thing down and I signed it. He said the only thing that was not included was any repairs to the sprinkler system because it needed to be checked. Daniel and his crew showed up on time. All the clean-up trimming etc. was done in a timely manner. All of the sprinkler stations were checked, then Daniel told me what repairs needed to be made and how much the costs would be. Fortunately the repairs were minor. He also helped me set the sprinkler timing system. He called me when the crew was finished so We could check the area. When I arrived, the crew was still there finishing up and I met Daniel's very sweet wife. I was impressed that the crew was wearing the company t-shirts. All the work was done and all debris was removed. I was very pleased with all results. Everything was explained to me clearly.

After Daniel and his crew had done such a good job at my mom's property,asked Daniel to come to my home and give me an estimate for tree removal. He arrived on time and looked at the trees. One was a large mulberry tree in the back yard that was already about half dead. The other tree was at the side of my house. It was an Italian cypress that was in the middle of a row of 5 very tall cypresses. It had died after the extreme winter freeze two years ago. Daniel gave me a written estimate. The crew arrived the next day on time. The work was done in a timely manner, and the cleanup was perfect. Even parts of the backyard not near the tree were cleaned up. Since I was going to leave both stumps, I wanted them to be even so that I could put something on them for decorative purposes. The crew used a level to make the stumps even. The stump of the mulberry tree was treated to prevent further growth.

I called Mr Ramirez from seeing him highly rated on Angie's list and he came the same day to give an estimate. He spent almost an hour talking to me and showing pictures of his finished work. We discussed what I wanted and he even came up with some great ideas to make everything look better. He gave the estimate and everything turned as written. I am extremely happy with the services and would call back again. The reason for the "B" on price is I have had several other quotes on the same job that were much less, but I have learned in the past you get what you pay for. So if you want quality then you will have to pay a little more, but it was definitely worth it.

He arrived on time for the estimate, came to start the work while I was at work, called me to review the work and kept his crew on site in the event I was not happy with anything. Their work was excellent and we will definitely use the company again

We had a large amount of work done including: 1) fixing our existing sprinkler system, which really wound up being installing a new system (I think the one we had was from the 80s.. ) w/ new pipes and sprinkler heads and backflow, etc. 2) removing rock and putting in sod 3) installing a paver patio approx. 12 x 12 but Daniel made it a bit bigger -- also had a paver walkway w/ flagstone 4) acid staining existing patio (including scraping it and cleaning ) 5) putting in edging b/w the sod and the rest of our yard which has rock 6) adding a concrete slab for outdoor kitchen and concrete stamping it 7) building an outdoor kitchen 8) installing 10 Italian Cypress trees and 9) putting a border.. like for a flower bed, where the Italian Cypresses are 10) removing cacti from front and back yards 11) installing a drip irrigation system for the Italian Cypress plants. We got several estimates on this work ahead of time. Daniel Ramirez was great -- he came out to our house on two occasions to understand what we wanted, take measurements, make suggestions, etc. He was great communicating via phone and email. I especially appreciated how quick he was to respond to email. All of the guys that he had doing the work were professional. Daniel came out to check on the work often and checked in with us. We actually made a few changes here and there as the project progressed, and Daniel was great about checking in with us to make sure what we wanted, etc. The work was completed in a timely manner; workers were present and worked a full day, every day. I really have absolutely no complaints and am so happy with the way everything turned out. His estimate on price actually came in the lowest, although our other estimates were very comparable. We will definitely use Daniel again for any future work.

Daniel and all of the workman were very professional and communicated effectively. Daniel was physically on site during all stages of the work. The back yard was essentially leveled. Rebar was placed where the spa was going to be placed to accommodate the weight. Care was given to make sure the area was level. He did recommend that drainage be added around the spa. We did not take that suggestion and now wish we had. It would have added another $300.00 to the cost; but it would have been worth it. The first slab to be poured was the spa followed by the patio and fire pit area and the walkways last. Daniel helped us select the stamp design and the color relief for the various areas. We have contrast both in design and relief so that it flows well and but does not look disjointed. The spa area was done in a teal relief because we wanted that area to look like water...our own piece of the ocean so to speak. Daniel told the workmen not to power wash the relief off but to just a regular spray because he did not want too much of the teal to be washed away. He knew we were after "an ocean" effect. He did it just right! Around the fire pit we used grey on grey for a smokey effect and the patio and walkways were a saltillo with grey release. The pergola area and the patio had stamped border edges. The coloring of the cement was added while in the cement truck so that the color was all through the cement and not "floated" on top. If the cement gets chipped, the color will be the same. Daniel was present with all pouring and did all of the stamping. All slabs and walkways were sealed twice. The fire pit is the focal point of our backyard. Daniel built the stone ring and sealed it. He told me to go to Lowes or Home Depot to get a fire pit to use as an insert. The legs were not needed. This makes it really easy to clean out after use and can easily be replaced in a year or so if needed. It only cost $79.0 and has a cover. The height of the fire pit is perfect as is the top...wide enough to prop up feet and put your coffee cup down. The walkways are curved and ties the backyard together. He put a stamped circle around the smaller tree where we have put a bench. Daniel has offered some landscaping ideas which I have noted and some will use. The ground work is done. Now all is left is the planting of plants, putting in some large rocks, some river rock areas and some fine stone area for the hammock and maybe a path or two. We are very pleased with our backyard and have received many compliments from friends and neighbors. We are planning on calling on Daniel again to finish some details as far as planting and design. We also plan to completely re do our front yard, widen the driveway and do the side yard areas. Daniel does very good work, is conscious of quality as well as cost. I call him an artist...indeed he is.

Aside from a reasonable estimate, Mr. Ramirez started the job when he said he would and completed the work in a timely manner. The job was done to my satisfaction. I highly recommend his landscaping services to anyone needing any type of yard work. Job well done.

When I called Daniel I explained that I was an out of town home owner and need to establish a working relationship with someone for this type of work. This involved a lot of trust on my part that Daniel would do the work and do it well. On his part he had to trust me to send the payment by mail when the job was done.. He faxed me an invoice and provided me with pictures of the completed work. I was satisfied with what I saw.. He gave me a warranty on the work.. It was a great pleasure working with Daniel!

Called a few landscaping companies to give me an estimate to . Nobody called me back (Wasser&Wasser and J&J Landscaping-did call, but didn't show up). Found Ramirez on Angies list and gave them a call (sorry for the late review Daniel). Within a couple of hours of leaving a message, he called me back. Next day him and his wife came out and gave me an estimate on the work I needed done in addition to some rough estimates of some future jobs that I will need. We discussed my intentions and gave me a few options, using his experience and the dimensional restraints of where I wanted the boulders. We haggled a little on the estimate, which he did in a VERY professional manner, and I agreed to hire him. He asked for a couple of days to find the boulders I wanted (I was a bit demanding on the sizes and general shape of them). He called me back the next day to describe what he found, and we agreed to have the work start the next day. Him and his team showed up as promised, 45 minutes after a courtesy call to make sure I was home. Half a day later, all the boulders were in place, and the plants were planted. Throughout the work, they consulted with me of how I wanted this and that, especially the final resting place of the boulders. Not only did they complete the work as agreed and clean up after themselves, but they also cleaned up the damage done from the 11 trees I had removed by a different company. After the work was done, he even gave me some ideas to make my current landscaping look better without trying to add it to the current work. Overall, I am very pleased and will definitely use this company again for future work. Considering the lack of responsiveness from other landscapers, I doubt I would call anyone else.

I called Mr. Ramirez about a month prior to the start of the project. He arrived on time as planned, gave me an estimate that he advised would be good when I needed the job to be done. I called on a friday to advise him that i was ready, he told me he was finishing another job and would be abe to start on Thursday he following week. He called me on Monday and stated that he could start on Wednesday, Wednesday morning at about 7:00 hours he was here with his crew and started, by lunch the patio area was ready for concrete and the tree in the front yard was gone. By end of day all the concrete that was removed, along with the pavers. Pavers were placed on the side of my house for use later. All waste was placed in front of my home on the street where he removed it with a bobcat the following day. The following day concrete was scheduled to be poured, but the rain did not let that happen. at that time we decide to add the draining system that was not apart of the original estimate. Friday morning came around and early morning his crew was here making sure everything was ready for concrete. Concrete started at 10:00am and they were done by 4:00 pm. Saturday early morning, pavers were laid on an area where i had a flower bed. By about 12:00pm all work was completed, everything was cleaned. Mr. Ramirez and his crew were asme, will call again for rockwall work.

They came on time and they gave an estimate. They did everything they said they were going to do. They did a wonderful job. They cleaned up everything. I was really surprised. They closed my gates and I was very pleased. Their prices are competitive and fair. The men that worked here were extremely clean and very professional. They know what they are doing. I highly recommend them. They came when they said and finished when they said.

I called approximately on a Monday. I had to leave a message. Several hours later I got a hurried call and managed to set up an appointment for a Wednesday or so. I'm still Waiting... No phone call and a no show. I dont understand the A rating , maybe he does good work if he manages to show up. Very disappointed ...

Very fast response. Came that same day to give an estimate and completed the work that same week. Will use again for future work.

This was a 100% pleasurable experience with Daniel and his team. They were on time, worked efficiently, performed high quality work, and did an excellent job of clean up. Daniel came up with an excellent idea on how to save a drain pipe that ran through the space, saving a lot of money for relocation. Overall, this has been a great experience and I will be calling on Daniel for my landscaping/concrete needs in the future.

My first landscaper never showed up when he had scheduled, so I called Daniel and he showed up that day for an estimate. He replaced our low-voltage yard lights in our back and front yards as well as place landscape rocks on one side of the house. Overall, we were very satisfied with the work. Daniel and his team was very punctual. The job was very well done. We didn't have the timer for the lights and he even returned to our house the very next day to install it, free of charge. Would highly recommend Daniel and would keep him in mind for future projects.

Daniel Ramirez did an excellent job of communicating and working with me as far as scheduling to get me an estimate for general yard (front and back) maintenance. However, we went with a different company to get my yard cleaned up, as he gave me the highest quote between three different companies.

Daniel and his team started the work earlier than promised and finished earlier than promised. He provided good suggestions when we asked for them, and helped us create a landscape that we really like. We are very happy with his service. I would highly recommend Daniel Ramirez Landscaping.

The projected started on time. It took about two weeks. The team would work for a few hours each day. Which I really liked becasue each day I came home there was progess and something new.
