Ramirez Landscape & Maintenance

Very professional and prompt in his response. The work was done in two days. Beautiful work! Exactly what I was looking for. The great thing about hiring Ramirez is that he also gives you ideas of what would look good in your front or back yard. He gave me different quotes and I was able to make a determination as to what I would need to do within my budget,

The got all the weeds out, removed all the dead bushes. They did a real good job. The job was completed and the Owner even came out to check on all the work done.

They came out and shaped the bushes for me. They told me that the plants needed water and that they did not have disease. They sprayed the bushes as well watered them but they still ended up dying. They were supposed to come back out every two weeks to maintain the yard and they never showed up or called me.

Always on time, very professional group of men with the right leadership. project well done. Everyone in my neighborhood complimented this company's work.

The job went very well according to schedule. First to removed the chain link fence and start on the rockwall right after the task was completed they started demolition on the driveway this was done non-stop schedule all this took approximately 5 working days which is great, the service met my expectation of quality work. I will call them again.

Every thing went very well. Logistically it was effortless. I provided the landscape paper and planting soil - they did the rest. .In readying for the patio cement to be poured I insisted on having 6Mil poly sheeting under the cement because we have mostly dry sand. The cement would have dried to quickly as the sand sucked moisture from the new cement (thus weakening the patio). Daniel and the crew listened and flawlessly executed my request. No complaints. They hauled 3 tons of landscaping rock from the front drive to the back yard in addition to the cement from the truck for the patio pour. A very hard working, congenial, conversant crew. They were very efficient, they always communicated. They completely cleanedup as they left and gave us a wonderful job, just as he said they would do. Daniel has pictures of his work in a folio so that you may see his work example when he comes to give you a bid. Very professional presentation. We are putting up a wooden fence for more privacy and when we do we will hire Daniel Ramirez to do the job.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this company. To start with, it was very difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. I called a few times a noon and when there was no answer I just figured that they might be out to lunch. Then I wasn't even sure I was calling the right place because when the phone would go to voice mail it didn't say "please leave a message for Ramirez Landscape". I called again at 3 P.M. and a Lady answered the phone just "hello". I had to ask if I was calling the landscape company. After that was out of the way I told her that I had gotten their number off of Angie's List. I do this so that they know that Angie's List is working and that people do read reviews. Anyway I told the Lady I was interested in their services and she someone would come by my home on Friday between the hours of 9-12. She also stated that I didn't need to be home since it was just going to be an estimate. I greatly appreciated that because I was going to be at work during that time. Well to my dismay, they never came to my house, I never got the estimate and when I called there was no answer. Very disappointed to say the least.

We first contacted them and they sent a representative that evaluated the work needed and gave us an estimate. We then agreed to a date and they came to do the work on time and did an excellent job.

Quote was for 2" of landscape material. The amount of fill installed barely covered the irrigation hose (5/8"). The color requested was red but brown was installed. Ramirez did offer that it would turn red after the dirt settled out of the rock and if I kept it wet it would look red. After a year or two of settling I was told it would look better. Landscape material comes in various prices from $15 to $80 per ton. Quote was for 3/8 rock $55 per ton but was switched to "screening" at $15 per ton. 11 tons needed to complete order but I was given a $130 credit for the price discrepancy. Did not add up. The concrete was ok except for the ski slope in the grilling area. Instead of slope away from the house the middle section was 1" higher than the rest. On a 6' pad the slope was definitely noticed. Ramirez did offer to redo the pad BUT I do not want his subcontractor Redi Mix anywhere near my house again. The leaked hydraulic fluid and oil on the road in front of my house was not attractive. Ramirez did in fact have his crew put degreaser on it and pressure clean it but it is still unattractive. On the positive side his two man crew are excellent workers. In summary, my wife was not happy with the color, the ski slope and the fill.

The job was perfromed pretty well. They missed a few dead spots but overall the appearence was much improved. was rescheduled a couple of times.

They took several days to complete job and showed up on appointed day or time. if they were going to be delayed, they called and told us when to expect them and appeared as arranged. I did not mind the changes of time, as I knew they were located in Far East El Paso and did their work there for the most part. I was happy they took me as a customer, as they have much bigger jobs. I had tried calling other landscapers but they could not be bothered with me. These were companies that were listed on Angie's list just like the Ramirez Company but they were less than helpful. You can understand my happiness when the Ramirez family listened to my request and fit me in. The job was professional, and Mr. Ramirez supervised himself. I was so surprised that he asked me constantly if I was satisfied with each step he was taking. He responded well to all my suggestions. When the job was finished, Mr. Ramirez returned on several occasions to fix various problems I had with watering and to get the watering just right. What a pleasant surprise. I believe I could call him today, 2 months later and he would show up and help me with a smile.

They were prompt & professional, but the results were soon horrific!! As soon as the monsoon started last summer, the weeds & grass were grow right through my new rock landscaping. I called Daniel & he came out to inspect the yard, but only sprayed a bit of weed killer here & there. You should see my almost 3 thousand dollar yard this year. It's a very expensive jungle of tall grass & weeds. EVERYWHERE!! There is no point in contacting Daniel again as he told me after he placed those few squirts if weed killer, that there was nothing more he could do fix the problem. He told me my next step was to contact a professional weed-killing company to see what they could do. Since my first rock landscaping was weed free for 20 years, I don't know why this one lasted less than a month before the problem started.

Ramirez Landscaping responded within 24 hours, and came out to do the estimate that very evening. The following day Daniel fixed the leak, replaced the sprinkler heads that were cracked, and had everything running perfectly. I couldn't ask for better service; I feel relieved now that our water isn't leaking all over and we can actually water the lawn! Daniel was very courteous and professional, and even gave us some ideas for other things we could do in the future. We probably spent as much on gas and purchasing parts trying to fix the problem ourselves as we paid Daniel to fix everything within a hour... Bottom line, I am very happy with the service provided, I only wish I had called sooner!

Showed up 3 hours late. Was suppose to call within 45 minutes with the estimate but never called. He was not really interested in what we wanted but instead was insisting on what he thought we should do.

I was happy with them. They did a good job but their prices were a little bit on the higher side. They responded properly. They were on the job with plenty of water, man power and equipment; they got the job done reasonably quickly. They were a little bit over priced because I just got a small yard. I think I have got this job done before just for $100 but they were nice.

Having read the rave reviews and having also heard great things from my co-workers, I was very excited to give Ramirez Landscaping a call. Prior to joining Angie's List, I had some horrible experiences trying to get some landscaping work done at my house. And Ramirez fell in line with these experiences too - despite the A rating on Angie's List. I gave them a call and ending up leaving a message explaining my situation. I think it took several days before anyone called me back. As I was unable to answer the phone at the time, I had to return their call a few hours later. I again left a message. One week later no one had called me back, so I gave them a call again. I finally was able to actually speak with a person to explain what I wanted done. She assured me she would call me back to schedule an appointment for Friday (tomorrow) once she checked schedules. This was Tuesday. It is now Thursday, and tomorrow is Friday, and no one has called me back. It is disappointing. It is frustrating. I just want to give someone my money to do some stuff to my yard! Ultimately, if they would give me a call back, I'd give them a shot. If they don't call, I guess I'll give my money to someone else.

Ramirez Landscape & Maintenance workers were early. It was a couple day project and the workers were early everyday. They worked and they did a very good job. They did an excellent job with my yard. It looked gorgeous. The staff was helpful. They were very work-oriented. I would highly recommend them.

They were always on time, quick, well equipped and clean.

Went well, they finished ahead of schedule and left no mess behind. Workers were not intrusive, and the work is exactly what we asked for. Our biggest fears after hearing about other landscaping companies around El Paso never transpired, and I would do business with this company again.

I contacted Ramirez Landscape during the week of 04FEB2013. Left a VM,and Daniel Rameriz called me back later that day. We set up an appt for an estimate for 09FEB2013. That day he was running a little late, but did call to let me know. He went to the rental property first and then came by my house. We discused both and he gave me an estimate and explained what it included. I called him back several days later to set it up and he scheduled me for that Saturday 16FEB2013 to do both. Daniel and a crew of 4 showed up at 8 a.m. and got right to work. They used a Bobcat to remove the maguey's. They finished the project just before noon, and I didn't even see them stop for breaks. When they finished, the holes were filled and the landscape rock was back in place. You couldn't tell the maguey's were ever there and that any work had taken place, it was clean and fresh and looked perfect, to include two trees that were trimmed. Everything was hauled away. They then moved on the the rental, where the spent the remainder of the day, cleaning, cutting, lifting and hauling. The pictures below speak for themselves. I think they broke for lunch, but never really stopped working. They finally finished about dusk and again, hauled everything away. It looked like a new yard. I was very impressed with their work and dedication. The price above was for both yards.

An appointment was set up for a certain day and time. When they did not come at the appointed time we later got a call that there was a mix up on the day they were to show up. So we set the appointment up for the next day at the appointed time. We got a call that they were at our house and the time was mixed up again. They ended up waiting for us to arrive since we were not home. He gave us an estimate and would return the next day to complete the job. They showed up earlier than expected but we did not mind. He did a good job fixing the leak and aerating the lawn, but we were not to satisfied with the trimming job. He had to keep going back to trim more off. I like a clean smooth cut but he would leave some pieces higher than the bush so it did not look even. Other than that he was very nice and professional. Other people might not mind the look. I probably will not use them again for trimming.

We contacted this company based on reviews from Angie's List. We called using number provide here, left a message on a "sprint user mail box" and hoped for the best. We received a call back from a young lady approximate 2 days later. She scheduled an appoint for 4/08/2013 at 1:00pm. No one ever showed nor did we receive a call to cancel or reschedule the appointment. Disappointed. We had such high hopes based on the reviews.

Daniel and his crew were great. They were very prompt and efficient. Mostly all the work was complete in 1 day. Would recommend and use again.

Although the team was late for both the estimate and the job, I would not hold that against them. I was very pleased with the overall work. The gentleman that did my work fixed a sprinkler head for me just to be nice. I was thankful as I get tired of getting sprayed every I turn on the hose. Overall I was very impressed with their work ethic and the fact that they are working so hard to give great customer service. My experience with Danny and his team was terrific!
