Description of Work: I had roof damage from rain collecting on a flat part of my roof. After learning my insurance company does not cover water damage I was left with a damaged roof and more rain was coming. Q Construction came quick to provide me an estimate and even when swamped with other jobs, they made the time to help me as a first time homebuyer. The job was done fast and came with a 6 year coverage. This type of treatment is rare in roofing. I would easily return to them for future work and recommend them to anyone seeking construction help!

+ -1 moreI was in my 7 day option period on a house I was buying. My home inspection determined there were roof deficiencies and the roofer I had previously booked cancelled last minute (on day 6 of my option period!) I called Q Construction and they sent someone out the very next day to assess the damage on the roof. Within 24 hours they had a full report and recommendations of all deficiencies and potential deficiencies. This may not be the norm but I really feel that the company went out of their way to accommodate my request. Marcos and David were true professionals! Marcos was actually just driving in from an out of town roofers' convention and after an 8 hour drive, he went straight to the house and started working. The seller repaired the roof with his own roofer so Q Construction did not actually do any handy-work for me but he did go back into the house for a re-inspection to ensure the fixes were made correctly. I hope not to need any roof repairs on my new house but if I do I will definitely be calling this company.
Description of Work: Roof, attic, and ceiling inspection and repair recommendation on a house I was getting ready to purchase. Upon receiving the inspection report from a home inspector, I was advised to have the roof inspected for some damages on a remotely new roof. Q Construction was able to send someone right away to get an assessment done and provided a report quickly and effectively.

+ -1 moreI made the purchase and then was reviewing the terms and realized that the Big Deal would not be applicable for the type of service that I needed. This was of no fault of the provider, I just made a mistake. I have contacted Angie's List for a refund of the purchase.
Description of Work: This was a Big Deal purchase for $335 for a Roof Tune-Up and $100 Repair Credit.

Description of Work: The business owner, and primary customer service representative, is Marcos. He contacted me within a couple of hours of my request via Angie's List. He visited me at home the same afternoon, assessed the problem with my roof, gave me a very reasonable written estimated and scheduled the service for a couple of days later. His service crew arrived as scheduled and were professionally supervised, completing the extensive repairs the same day. | |Marcos is VERY knowledgeable, humble and the depth of his experience is significant and became evident as he explained in detail how my roofing system was installed and how such systems should work, far exceeding that of other roofing contractors in this area. I've unfortunately had to deal with several roofing contractors in the last few years, and Marcos is the first to prove that he can understand, address and resolve any roof issues that come about. | |It is important that El Paso-area customers understand that there is no such thing as a Texas-licensed or certified roofing contractor, as the State of Texas does not require certification and does not license roofing contractors. Marcos however is certified and licensed by the State of New Mexico and will provide a customer with the documentation upon request. Thankfully he brings this experience and certified training with him to the El Paso area, which is in dire need of well trained and certified roofing contractors. As long as Q Construction is around, I will never seek roofing services from any other source.

Description of Work: Redid flat roof. Even recommended and charged minimal fee for repairing rotten roof that they discovered after taking off old roof coating. Effort to take off old roof was much more extensive then they estimated but they did the overall job in a timely manner.

+ -1 moreThe repair that was suppose to take 4 to 5 days took almost two week! Plus I had to call him to get it finished! Mr. Larranaga showed up for our appointment on time, which at first I thought was a good thing until his team of two men started to work. The workers were lazy, the repair that was supposed to take 4-5 days took almost two weeks! In the middle of my repair one worker quit and Mr. Larranaga never contacted me to say that the job would take longer because of this issue. He went out of town in the middle of my repairs so there was no supervision of any kind for the one worker to complete my repairs. During my second week we had to call the repairman who decided to take off for his wedding in the middle of my repairs. After the repairs were finally completed my husband and I noticed that they used the wrong paint on one side of my house! After about a month after the repair, the original damage came right back so we contacted another company. They told us that the repairs were performed incorrectly and we should contact Q Construction again to fix their mistakes. After we had paid Mr. Larranaga $2700, we had to call him again and try to get the job performed to standard. Q Construction returned to my home to fix repairs and repaint the wall, but the paint still does not match the house.. We'll never use their services again.

+ -1 moreI spoke with Marcos about needing a roof after having some wind damage. He did an inspection along with the roofer that the insurance company sent out to inspect. I had T lock roof tiles and as missing a couple. Since those aren't made anymore I needed a new roof and it was also 12 years old so it was time for a replacement. Marcos had his team out there within a week or so from the time I got the initial check from the insurance company. He asked what color shingles I wanted and then his men went to work. He mentioned the housing around the swamp cooler looked bad and would need replacing and told me what it would cost and I gave him the go ahead. Today is Tuesday and they finished a couple hours ago. My roof looks nice and have already had compliments from the neighbors and listened to the problems they had with their roofs. His team cleaned up everything and swept up everything and didn't leave a mess behind. I have a 5 year warranty and am a very happy customer. If you are looking for someone that will listen to what you want and deliver on their word then look no further. Also his website (which isn't finished yet) has a very good mission and vision statement which he upholds.
