I liked his attention to the work that his people were doing in the house. He was very attentive to my needs as the client. They did everything just perfect, the way I wanted it done. He worked with me, so I was never out of the picture. He worked directly with me in getting it all done. I had been staying with my daughter during that time, and the reason for that was that my house got flooded, and that is how the remodeling came about. We were redoing all the floors and the insurance paid for that, so my daughter told me that I should remodel the kitchen and everything else. The house was built in 1971, so it really needed some work done. When he did the outside of the house, he replaced all the wood that was weather beaten. He had a good crew working with him. When he first came in and gave me an estimate, it was over my budget, so he worked with me in bringing it down to what was feasible for me to handle. He didn’t turn away and was willing to work with me, so decisions were made along with me. I thought he was great.

The final results of my remodeled kitchen and family room are remarkable. From start to finish, Robert guided me through every aspect of the job; ensuring that I kept well within my budget. He gave me sound advice based on his experience and completed each phase of the remodel in a very professional way. The craftsmanship of the new kitchen cabinets and granite countertops are outstanding. Robert and his staff really pay attention to detail and definitely take pride in their final product. I am extremely pleased with the remodeling of my home and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

David came to inspect at the time he said he would. He was very professional and even supplied email photos of the areas that needed attention. An estimate was given and the work scheduled for another day. On that appointed day, the work was completed on time and as promised.

David Hoover did everything in an outstanding professional manner. After checking out our house, he provided a proposal within two days. We set up an estimated date for the work to be done. They kept to the time frame that was promised and the work was completed ahead of when they said it would be. The workers were very well mannered, and they cleaned up very well at the end of each day. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone interested in replacing their roof. I, also would like to add that they used quality products.

He was great. Cost a lot but he took pictures of before and after, it was expensive, but all the work he has produced, is. He was still no more or no less than anybody else. He was clearly very professional, very clean. He didn’t charge me anymore then he said he would. He was punctual, he did it on time. He was experienced.

The provider was prompt, thorough and professional. Quoted the job to be completed in one week and was finished by the end of the week as promised. Excellent workmanship. Provider performed even more detail work than expected. I would definitely hire this company again and would recommend them without hesitation.

It went well. They started on time and ended on time. The job was always supervised. All workers were polite, professional and very neat. We were able to come and go as needed to maintain our daily routine. My neighbors even commented about how impressed they were and how the work did not affect their lives. We were respected for our requests and plans for the remodel, but at the same time welcomed input about the remodel that we had not thought about. All suggestions were motivated by only having the best end product. It was obvious that tremendous pride in their work was evident. The progress was monitored on a daily basis and any questions or concerns were immediately addressed. We were extremely impressed and the outcome was above our expectations. We are very pleased and happy with our bathrooms.

They paid close attention to detail on all parameters, including a vaulted ceiling with tung-groove pine and long beam. The exterior was constructed to look like an original part of the 40+ year-old house. The crew was exceedingly polite, punctual, and professional. We have since contracted with this company for two more jobs: repairing and repainting the eaves and replacing an interior door between our kitchen and laundry room. We are left with beautiful work we truly appreciate and of which friends take notice. Worth every penny!

Excellent. He certainly did not have to do it for free. All around service was great....response was excellent..and professionalism was excellent as well. Highly recommend for roof repairs or replacement. When asked to do these things he did not hesitate.

I waited and waited and never got a call back. I called the following week and he didn't remember he was supposed to call me back with an appointment time or even to let me know if they could or couldn't come by. I think is unprofessional plus they held back the work that needed to be done in my home waiting on them with no results. A professional company will call back and try to be of help to earn your business.

They did EXCELLENT work and provided me with EXCEPTIONAL customer service. Phillips/Hoover are not only experienced and knowledgeable, intelligent, contractors, they are craftsmen! Simply the BEST!

They replaced my roof on my porch and closet in October two years ago and every time it rained to roof leaked. The rain would fill up the light fixture and the sheet rock would bulge. I would call them and the would come out and try to resolve the problem but eventually I got the feeling that I was just a crazy old lady. During the storms in September the sheetrock collapsed and I could see where the water was coming in. By the why, I had suggested that we take the sheetrock down and see where the water was coming from before. I called on September 11, 2013 because another roofer suggested that I should give them a chance to rectify the problem. When I called weekly for six weeks they would tell be the were very busy and I was on the list and they would get to as soon as they could. I did not expect to do more work for free after two years I really need help with my leaking roof and now collapsed ceiling.

I contacted them and left a message the first time. A week went by with no response. I thought maybe the message did not get through. So I called again. They answered and asked me to text my info and request. I did so, and got a text back stating that I would be put on a list. The message also said it may be a few weeks because they are a little backed up. Fine, I can wait. So, today is December 3rd, and I have not heard a word. In the meantime, I have already gotten another company to come out, give me a quote, and ready to start the work. With all the good reviews this company had, I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, but their grace period is over.

Phillips/Hoover, Inc.did AN EXCELLENT JOB! My husband and I were very impressed at how well they paid attention to every detail. They arrived on time everyday, and cleaned up daily. Robert and Sammy explained every step of the job as it progressed and were available for any questions. Nothing was taken down or changed without prior approval from owner. After the work was completed, they touched up painting inside the house (to areas worked on) and re-installed all blinds that had been removed in order to replace the windows. During the removal of the old windows they took great care in protecting the areas around the "demolition sites" from damage. We will definitely use their services again if needed and highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a professional job done well. We feel that the quality of work and attention to detail exceeded our expectations.

Awesome. Robert was great to work with as were all his associates. He took the time to understand our style. He took both the look and function into account. Flooring, cabinets, backsplash, are all new and fabulous. We love spending time in our new kitchen and are entertaining more often as a result of having this gorgeous space.

great, speedy but yet to see if repair will last

The person who answered the phone said that they were really busy but that they would take down my information and get back to me in ten days. This was a month ago and they never bothered to call back. Based on this responsiveness or lack thereof I would not recommend this provider. They may be good at what they do but if they never even bother to call you back this is a moot point.

mr hoover arrived and in short order located the area where the roof leaked..an appropriate sealer was applied... job done!! I had used mr. hoover 13 years ago to reroof this same house. Because of my satisfaction with my 1st dealing with mr hoover and angies listing it was an easy choice to make
