Description of Work: "Had a complete roof replacement. 58 square. composed of both 30yr 5 tab and flat roofing. New skylight, three wind turbines etc. The crew (4-5) was here daily at 0630 and was very professional. Mr. Hoover supervised the installation. All debris was cleaned while the work was on going. |While I know this is not the least expensive company in town after several strong rains and a hail storm without leaks or damage I feel comfortable with their warranty and their work. I am glad I spent the extra $$ and have a quality product that I do not have to worry about. I would gladly use them again and recommend their company to anyone!"

Description of Work: I placed a request with Angie's list for contact and the next day Dave called me back. I explained the problem I was having and he stated that he may not be able to help me with that particular problem, but he would come out and take a look. We set an appointment to come out. Dave looked at the problems I had and stated that he didn't think it was a roofing issue and but more cosmetic and even pointed out some places I may need to get repaired that may be the cause of my problems. He was honest and didn't try to take advantage of the situation and talk me into unnecessary work. I did not have any work done through them, but If I do need a roofer in the future I will definitely call them to do the work.

 + 0 moreMr. Hoover met us at our house. He was very professional, explained our options and provided a price on the spot. My wife and I thought it over for a couple of days and decided to have this company do the work even though they were booked solid until September. In August we received a call that a job had canceled and if we wanted to get it done a month early, we happily agreed. The crew arrived on time, put the permit on the window and proceeded to remove the old roof to the plywood. Three rotted boards were replaced in the process. The new roof, the new skylights and the whirlybirds all look and function great. The crew put tarps around the house to catch all materials that fell during the work and cleaned up after they were done. After the final inspection paid our bill (no deposit was required) for the amount we agreed upon. All in all a very positive and professional experience.
Description of Work: New 90 MPH shingle roof for the entire house and garage (+/- 3000 sqft), two 24x48 sky-lights and two whirlybirds

Description of Work: Had a skylight leak after bad rainfall. Called for estimate. he wasn't able to come out short notice, but he did give me instructions on what to do to minimize damage until he could come out to fix the problem. he told me he could get to it in 2 weeks and it was 2 weeks to the day. He also did some overall inspection to make sure the rest of the roof was unharmed.

H pointed me to the right products to self repair and gave me home remedies to remove salt build up from neglect swamp cooler pads. A very nice man and veteran friendly.
Description of Work: I returned from Iraq to find my home badly damaged and neglected by my former tenants. I had been told in 2006 when i had the house on the market that inspectors found my roof to be questionable. These inspectors belonged to the buyer's off course and I had several estimates and inspections done that said my roof was fine. While in Iraq I was being told the roof was leaking badly and when I returned after begging for estimates the entire time I was deployed; I found the ceilings in my house decemated. I contacted several roofers one didn't want the job (Angie's List) and submitted an outrageous estimate to get me to go away. Another was to busy as well and David Hoover not only gave an estimate once but came back to give me an additional estimate. David spoke with my dad to explain what was going on, showed me how to repair my home and identified the evaporative cooler as the culprit and recommended an outstanding heating and air conditioning company.

 + 3 moreI had a wonderful, exciting and fun experience when my kitchen was remolded in 2008 by Phillips Hoover. Robert Phillips was instrumental in guiding me and making all the options available. The hardest part was selecting the color of the kitchen cabinets and counter tops. Once my mind was made it, the fun started. The kitchen was totally gutted and within a week and a half I had a brand new kitchen including new lighting in both the kitchen and dinning room. It was like Christmas every evening for a week and a half when I got home from work to see all the new stuff. Sometimes Robert would take pictures with his camera phone and send them to me. I highly recommend Phillips Hoover for all home remodeling

They were also very careful to leave the area as if they'd never been there when they were through. The roof is holding up beautifully with all the rain we've been having.
