The tech arrived late and within 30 seconds of arriving, he quoted $900 and started a slick sales pitch about a maintenance plan. I said the price was too high, so he immediately dropped it by 30%. After those red flags, I told him I did not want the work done. He called his supervisor and put him on speakerphone. The supervisor was unprofessional and began to insist and bully me into getting the work done. I asked the tech to leave. Then I called Sears and got the job done for $219. This company operates at least 4 different websites with different phine numbers. The person that answered the phone said they recently bought several local companies as an explanation.

Although the company was very quick with the repairs, I came to find out that they were extremely expensive in pricing the parts. I was in a bind and needed the work done so I agreed to have them do the work since they were already on site, but now that i look back at it and do my research, they were extremely high and I should have gone with someone else. I need to make additional repairs to the garage door and I will not be using this same company.

Super Fast service on Super Bowl Sunday.

John arrived and performed an inspection of the problem with my garage door. He recommended repairs, and then I was told the service call would be $89. This information was not relayed to me during my request for service. John called his supervisor and I talked with him. He told me "You need to read the details on your contract." Therein lies the rub, I have yet to receive a receipt or contract for service, either hard copy or electronic. The garage door was installed approximately two years ago, and numerous calls to their phone number have failed to produce results even after many promises. Their products are good, their service is excellent, but obtaining a receipt and contract leaves something to be desired. When John finished the repair, he filled out a receipt on his phone. Within seconds I had a copy of that receipt on my iPad. It's apparent their system of electronic invoices works, but it seems the prior installer let the receipt fall through the cracks. John has promised to get me a receipt for the original garage door installation. We will see how that goes.

Called in the evening for emergency service. Dispatcher said he'd contact the technician and call me back. Never called back. I called an hour later and got a rude dispatcher who said she'd call back. Never called back. An hour later I called again, and a different dispatcher had no idea when the technician would show up. i canceled the service. The next morning the technician finally called (12 hours later). I told him I had canceled the service the night before.

I called Choice Overhead Doors for service and they came on the same day as my call. Our garage door came off its tracks so it needs to be repaired and put back right on its track. They came as they have promised and delivered a professional, fast, friendly and competitively priced service.

Very well. Called him up and he was on site within 1 hour. The work was completed within 1 1/2 hrs. Service provider told me he is licensed and bonded. I suggested he update his profile. I was impressed by his expertise and professionalism.

This company quoted a competitive price, and suggested a pre-painted door for the same price as one that would have needed painting. It was installed in a timely manner. more importantly they returned twice to make some adjustments without any problems.

Called them Tuesday and they said they'd be out Wednesday morning. They phoned before they showed up. Examined door and motor and immediately found problem of damaged gear. Gave me the choice of replacing just gear assembly or entire very ancient unit and quoting just over $100 for just the gear or $275 for the entire unit. This took less than 10 minutes. I chose to replace entire unit so they had to go into town to pick new one up. Returning, they immediately set to work removing old unit and installing new one. They obviously knew exactly what they were doing and were very professional in their work. Afterwards, they completely cleaned up area and presented me with a bill for $275, their original estimate.
