+ -1 moreShe was very professional. She came and we negotiated everything upfront. She brought along all her equipment. It wasn't a matter of me feeling like I was hiring somebody myself. She has her own company. They did a very good job. She was a little pricey. If she were not charging quite so much I would use her more frequently.
Description of Work: Maggie's General Home Cleaning did some housekeeping for me. She cleaned the whole house.

+ -1 moreThe problem was that she has 10 people working for her so you don't know who will be cleaning your place. When I asked for the person who will be in my house cleaning to provide some time of State issued Identification I immediately received a call from Maggie's daughter saying that they protect the confidentiality of their employees and would not be able to provide that. Maggie's daughter was very defensive when she contacted me and I can not help but wonder what they as a company are hiding. As a consumer I have a right to know who is doing work in my house and if they have a legal status in this country, I told Maggie's daughter that their services would not be needed.
Description of Work: Maggie came to give an estimate and seemed to know what she was talking about. Her estimate was a little high but she compromised when it came down to a solid price.

Description of Work: All the usual house cleaning stuff - dust, vacuum, mop, clean bathrooms, clean kitchen, sweep, change bed linens, straighten up, etc.

+ -1 moreI hired Maggie's team for the deep cleaning. Three of them spent about 6 hours cleaning EVERYTHING! I was so impressed, that they now clean my house every other week for $60 (it's about a 1500 sqft home). So far, they arrive on time and leave the house spotless! Be sure to give them specific instructions and lay out expectations at the beginning and at the end of a cleaning.
Description of Work: I requested and estimate for both a deep cleaning and semi-monthly services. Maggie came over the next day and arrived on time!
