M & A Furniture Restoration

Misty and her son were very friendly and polite and responded quickly to our call. She picked up the chairs and returned them 5 days later all re-upholstered. We purchased the vinyl for the job. Her work was OK, not as neat on the seams and piping as we would have liked, but it worked. However a few days after she returned the chairs we had to call her when the piping on four of the six chairs just came off. We called her and after she returned from a trip I arranged for her to pickup the chairs. It took quite a long time and after about two weeks she let me know she was having a very hard time with the chairs but she would return them fully repaired. She eventually did admitting that she had had a hard time with the job. We gave one of the two remaining chairs as it was starting to have similar issues. Misty is a nice person and is industrious. But I think she is learning as she goes so I would not give any difficult or complicated jobs to her.

Very good job at first, but then work started coming apart. We called and they came and picked up chairs and repaired them and returned them to us. A week later they started coming apart again. Since then they have not responded to our request for them to pickup and repair chairs again and it looks like they just can't do the work satisfactorily. Misty and her son were very polite, friendly but it just appears that the work, done by her husband, is just not up to the quality we needed and expected. We must now look for someone who can complete the work.

The Doctors of Furniture, 915-219-6597, recommended M&A Furniture Restoration to me because I live on the East Side of El Paso. So, I texted her. That same day she responded and made an appointment with me for Saturday which was the best day for me. She did not charge for the trip to give me the quote. We scheduled a date for her to pick up the cabinet door to repair it. She repaired and returned the door and put back on the clock as we arranged. I was very happy with the service that she provided. She is very punctual, polite, and my cabinet was repaired so well that it doesn't look like it was ever damaged. This is a small family owned business.
