I don't have time to do yard maintenance . I saw their ad in the El Paso Times which stated they could do a variety of outdoor work. Initial contact was fine. They did a pretty good job clearing the big back yard. We discussed the rock to cover the little front/side area. He did not use the color he suggested nor the one I described, The rocks barely cover the area...very skimpy. He did do something I didn't ask him to do. He put a lot of the rock in the flower beds. I told him I would like, at some time, to plant flowers there. I said I wanted " color", but since he covered the flower beds with black material and rocks, the rosemary and two rose bushes are dying. They can't get water! He did offer to contact me monthly for upkeep for $75. I agreed. I wanted a new mail box and told him I would choose what I wanted. He repaired the mail box w/o using my choice. I learned what everyone knows..Get the details in writing! I trust everybody! And he charged almost $700! I didn't question since I didn't have any idea what "landscaping " costs. Since then I have learned from a PROFESSIONAL that about $300 was appropriate . So he hasn't called for the monthly service. I guess he knew he had gotten enough money from me! Poor work and REALLY POOR work ethic.

I explained, in detail, how I wanted my trees to be trimmed. I only wanted the trees to be lightly trimmed, however, they did the complete opposite. They ended up butchering my trees and cutting off main branch trunks. Now my trees look like they're dying. When they were done, they left a HUGE mess and didn't bother to clean it up. I would AVOID these guys at all costs. They definitely do not know what they are doing.
